  There is no way to get WLM to "switch" to the iPhone.  Instead, connect your iPhone and WLM for the same mailbox.  Who is your email provider?  What version of Windows?

  This section would apply in fact to the Windows Live programs, but we'll see what we can do to help out you.

  I recommend to try this first:

  1. disable any antivirus software or security, you have running on your computer. Looking for software to disable that contains a firewall.

  2. click on START
  3. Type "cmd" (without the quotes). Right-click on the result at the top of the menu START and select 'run as administrator '.
  4 type the following and press enter

  Regsvr32 softpub.dll wintrust.dll initpki.dll

  5. then type the following command and press enter

  netsh winsock reset

  6. restart your computer and see what happens.

  A Live ID is only an e-mail address and a password, just as you use to access Facebook, Amazon or eBay or a multitude of other sites. If you want to use, do not use it. You will not be able to post messages here without a Live ID account, however, nor to other sites such as Brian has made you.
