  One of the options when you select export in the file menu and the Contacts folder open is "comma separated values (.)» (CSV).

  I recently changed Internet service providers (and don't know if that is related to my problem) but I can RECEIVE from emails on my Windows Live Mail 2011 but IMPOSSIBLE to SEND emails ... I get the following error message

  You need to reconfigure your Windows Live Mail settings. For you to get the correct settings, contact your new Internet service provider.

  -Is this problem specific to Windows Live Mail? Can be printed on different Web pages?

  This problem may occur for one or more of the following scenarios:

  Scenario 1: Your video card or video driver is damaged or outdated. Note Outdated or corrupted printer drivers can also cause script errors when printing from Internet Explorer
  Scenario 2: You don't have printer permissions assigned
  Scenario 3: Protected Mode is enabled for the web page Internet safety zone
  Scenario 4: There is a problem with temporary folders on your user account and the low folder under the location of % TEMP % has been removed.

  wlmail.fol is a tiny text giving the name of the folder. The exported messages will have filenames like 00D13E83 - 000025DF.eml. If you don't see all of the files like this, your export probably did not work properly.

  For a successful export, follow these directions:

  1. Set Windows Live Mail to work offline before starting.
  2. Create a temporary folder on your desktop * to contain the exported messages.
  3. In the Export Wizard, select the temporary folder, and then select all the folders.* *
  4. When it is complete, check that the number of files in each folder to the temporary folder is one more than the number of messages in the corresponding folder of WLMail.
  5. Copy the temporary file to its final destination.
     If you use a reader not NTFS to do this, you will see a warning that certain file properties will not be copied files. This can be ignored.

  * Windows Live Mail do not work with files that are not on a local drive, as opposed to an external or network drive. This is avoided by using the office as a temporary folder location. 
  * If you want to export the files sampled only, select each of them containing messages. Subfolders are not automatically selected by default.

  Windows Live Mail does not allow scripts and other aspects of dynamic HTML.  If you have a message from OE or Windows Mail (Vista) that has these capabilities so you can send this message as a file as an attachment in a message eml and which will then open in OE or WinMail on the recipient machine.  Or you can rename it to eml to mht and who will then open in Internet Explorer on the recipient end.  But impossible to use WLM to compose such a message, as these features were eliminated in it.
   
  There are other options to overcome these limitations in Windows Live Mail, so that users can continue to be creative in their e-mail.  Seewww.oehelp.com/OEnWin7.aspx for some of them.
