  • First create a new folder by right click on an open space on your desktop
  • hover the mouse over the new, & click on new folder
  • right-click on the new folder and choose Rename
  • write your selected folder name
    
  1. Connect your data cable USB & POWER to the camera or insert the memory card
  2. Open the files and Select the files you want to save
  3. Select files butten now the mouse left click and move the mouse over the files
  4. then right click on the selected files and click copy
  5. go to the folder you named and open
  6. right-click and select Paste & that's it!

  iCloud is not a storage space for media. If you delete these items in your device, then they will go into iTunes in the cloud, and you will see a small symbol of cloud beside them. But you will have to re - download access. If you need to free up space on your device, go to settings > general > storage & use iCloud and then click Manage Storage under the first section (storage). You will then see a list of everything on the device that is being established. See if you can import photos or videos on a computer or remove applications.

  I want to be able to all back up on my iPhone and iPad so if something always happens to each device, everything can be recovered later.   I am aware that this issue (or different versions of it) will be requested a thousand times before, but after searching on the internet for a solution, I have been unable to find all the information that brings a simple clear answer that is specific to my problem and so thought I would ask the question myself.

  I recently bought a Toshiba 1 TB external hard drive to transfer music, photo files and internal document in front of the memory of my old PC running Windows, as well as files, music and photos from my existing MacBook Pro, so I can "release" the memory on the latter.

  Transfer files from the old PC proved to be easy; success achieved by simple drag / drop the files to the appropriate location on the external HD icon of Toshiba which appears once I connected to a USB port. It is perhaps worth mentioning that the area of States hard drive has been formatted NTFS for Windows, and so I guess that I would not have expected any problems when transferred to a PC.

  Move the files from my MacBook has however proved anything but simple and trying to drag the respective music and photo files and drop them on the HD Toshiba icon (which appears on my desktop once it is plugged), I seem to be affected by the same issues as so much seems to have it before me, in that "forbidden access" / error symbol appears with the cursor , and bounce the files to their original location whenever I try to place them on the Toshiba HD.

  I understand that this is due to the HD is formatted in NTFS, and that I would need to reformat the hard drive to move files from my MacBook, which brings me to my questions:-

  (a) how do I do this, and

  (b) can I do this without losing, damage or remove the NTFS files from my old PC, which are already stored on the external hard drive.

  If one is able to offer any assistance, in the most simple, easy to follow the description, I would be really grateful!

  If you have iCloud enabled library, all the photos that you delete from your phone will be deleted to iCloud and other devices connected to this library to iCloud. The more you can do to reduce storage required on the phone is to activate settings > iCloud > Photos > optimize iPhone storage.

  Software to uninstall the program: the basics

  Most OS X applications are completely independent "packages" that can be uninstalled by simply dragging the application to the trash.  Applications can create preferences files that are stored in the folder/Home/Library/Preferences /.  Although they do nothing once you remove the associated application, they take up little space.  If you want you can find them in the location above and delete them, too.

  Some applications may install an uninstall program that can be used to remove the application.  In some cases, the uninstall program may be part of the installation of the application program and is called by clicking on a custom button that will appear during the installation process.

  Some applications can install components in the Home/Library/Application Support / folder.  You can also check here to check if the application has created a folder.  You can also delete the folder that is located in the application Support folder.  Once again, they do nothing but take up disk space, once the application is trashed.

  Some applications may install a startupitem, or Item Log In.  StartupItems are usually installed in the folder/Library/StartupItems/and less often in the folder/Home/Library/StartupItems /.  Journal items are defined in the preferences accounts.  Open system preferences, click accounts, and then click the login items tab.  Locate the item in the list for the application you want to remove and click on the "-" button to remove from the list.

  Some software uses demons start or agents which are a new feature of the operating system.  Look for them in/library/LaunchAgents/Library/LaunchDaemons/or in/Home/Library/LaunchAgents /.

  If an application installs all the other files that the best way to find them is to search for Finder using the name of the application or the name of developer as a search term.  Unfortunately, Spotlight look in certain default folders.  You can change the behavior of Spotlight or use a third-party, EasyFindsearch utility, instead.

  Some applications install a reception in the folder/library/receipts /.  Usually with the same name as the program or the developer.  The element typically has an extension ".pkg".  Do not forget that you also remove this element because some programs use to determine if it is already installed.

  First, have you checked the trash? If they are not there, read

  "Deleting" a file does not actually delete it marks just the space
  also available to be used. There are third-party programs that can
  sometimes recover deleted files. The problem is that the space used by
  the file is likely to be replaced very quickly, and it makes
  the unrecoverable file.

  your chances to recover this file successfully are decent if you

  I found a gross solution, since removing a group of an item identifier is not currently available. The steps are as follows:

  -Create a temporary group, call it TEMP

  -Display all the elements of the Group of the problem (OLDGROUP). Select all, but uncheck the items marked by mistake

  -Coat the subset of OLDGROUP TEMP

  -Check that TEMP contained correct

  -OLDGROUP to delete and rename the TEMP like OLDGROUP
