If they are my work I've usually label them with A_MyName_Subtitle_Subtitle, or AA_MyName_Subtitle_Subtitle, etc. so I can find those at the top of the list when I open it. However, new records with such a letter added appendix are unwilling automatically in the right place and I need to drag and drop them, often several times until they stay where I want that they. In XP, there's a selection you could choose who would suit the records in alphabetical order and happen automatically, but there is nothing like that here, I don't waste a lot of time trying to find the record or the record itself. Does anyone know how to solve this problem other that having microsoft do the obvious thing by adding the 'alphabetical' selection in the information bar or to make it even more accessible as if it were in XP?   The iPad does not support USB keys. There are some wireless flash drives that can be used, but not the classical records. I suggest you transfer files to a computer and their synchronization then back to the iPad via iTunes.

  AdobePDF.dll is in the file Data1.cab. Mine is located in C:\Program Files (x 86) \Adobe\Acrobat8\Adobe Acrobat 8 Professional\ You need to extract the file "AdobePDF.dll_64" from the .cab file. You can do this with WinZip or 7-Zip. Everything you need to extract is this file, nothing else... Once you have extracted it, remove the _64, so the name of the file is AdobePDF.dll. Then place the file in any location you want and run the program it when asked. For a file location, I suggest to C:\Program Files (x 86) \Adobe\Acrobat8\

  If your old machine still works, export your definition of original site to a portable player, copy in your new machine and then import the site definition to the new machine. The definition file will have the extension .ste

  Create an empty folder on your new machine.

  Define a 'new' web site on your new machine to point to the new local root folder.

  Log your server and download all of the subfolders and files in the folder root from the server to the new local root folder.

  Welcome to the Forums.

  You just need to right-click on the imported clip in the project Panel, and select new sequence of the clip. You can also go to the file menu > new > sequence and create a sequence, then drag the clips after importation, in the timeline.

  Depends on what you mean by part. If you want to put your folio on ipad of your customer, so they can listen to samples, everything they do is jack their iPad to your computer, launch content adobe Viewer and click Preview on the device in the folio generator Panel. This will push your folio on their ipad. Then, they can view content.

  If by hand, you mean... give physical files for you customers so that they can do (honestly I don't know what they would do with one file other than view folio it on the device), there is no way to do it.

  How can I get a single file magazine among many others to export to PDF?  For 12 years, we used different versions of ID to produce a magazine that is black & white, sent to the printers in PDF for offset. We kept of many originals of color photo that we had converted to grayscale.  We do visit back editions, replacement of grayscale images with color when we haave it and export of high quality Print PDF.  These are displayed on a web page for customers to download back issues.

  The May 2011 edition is exporting in PDF format, at least not with the same settings as before and after this date questions, and different export settings does nothing for the situation.  Tried .idml export and opening as a new file as suggested in the FAQ.  This is saved as a new ID file under a new name.  Still won't export to PDF, although the export of .idml went smooth as a whistle.  Have been verified links and relinked two images in grayscale which was reported in the file links.  No change.  Have replaced outdated (TT) fonts with new (OT).  No change.  We continue to work backwards in time with these conversions, and always the older files export fine after the insertion of color.  It is ID5 on a Win7 machine with lots of RAM.  This part done ID5 to a creative suite so other applications are available in the machine.  Don't have not trashed preferences, because they work with the editions before and after the trouble.  What should I do next?

  Thank you, Pierre.  Export a page both reduced the search down to a problem page, which has turned having a problem with a graph that is used in each issue.  Replacement and reissue of links that graphic design has exceeded this bump.  It was on the new copy of the file that has gone through all the other changes described previously, so I don't know if they have had no effect.  Need to return other issues rather than experiment with the original file.

  It goes to its strange, but I solved the problem.  I ran a cycle of repair Microsoft Office 2007!  Now, my pictures are back to thumbnails, while my documents remain icons.  I feel a bit silly for you put through that much trouble.  So my apologies and thanks for trying to help me.
