• How can I manually transfer files/email to new macbook pro accounts

  I have the new macbook pro retina 13 "and do a clean install from a 2011 macbook pro.  I did basically except accounts e-mail and files.  The two machines are the latest el capitan 10.11.2 worm - two machines have the same version of Mail worm 9.2 (3112).

  I use POP mail - not IMAP - do not use the cloud.  I know the advantages and disadvantages, but it is like that.  I have 5 different email accounts with the files and associated files.

  I have tried to copy the mail and download e-mail to the library files in the same folder on the new computer.  During the opening of the mail on the new computer, he insists on setting up the new account.  I tried to configure an e-mail account.  THEN again by replacing new files in the folder library/mail with the mail from the old computer folder - once, does not work.  I also copied file library/container/apple.com.mail - and all other files related mail can be found in the mail folder.  Once again successfully.

  The best option is to use the Migration Wizard to transfer your accounts and your files. This will prevent the corruption of the library, which can cause several other problems. And it will not 'eliminate the clean installation state.'

  I just got Adobe Production Suite CS4 student edition, I installed it on my computer (Windows XP Media Center Edition), all my programs work great, except for Photoshop. When trying to open Photoshop it gets to the building twain portioin of the commissioning, then an error appears indicating that Photoshop has encountered a problem and needs to close, so I have not yet correctly opened photoshop, how could I solve this problem?

  P.S. I have already installed the Patch 11.01 and I've already updated my graphics card.

  Try disabling the plugin Twain by placing a Tilde (~) in front of it.

• How can I get Photoshop CS4 to launch my Epson Scanner Software rather than the simplistic WIA support as a choice of import?

  I have an Epson Perfection V600 Scanner and want to start the default scan instead of the WIA software minimal support which is the only choice.  The Epson Scanner software works great as a stand alone.  I use Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit, so I'm also using the 64-bit version of Photoshop CS4.  Thank you.

  Thanks R_Kelly to put me on the right track.  Once I launched the 32-bit version, I watched the start of properties and found this program in the folder Windows/twain32.  Then I went into the preferences of Adobe, Plug-ins and adding the two folder for the long version.  When I rebooted PS 32 - bit, the choice of the full version has been added in addition to the default value of supported WIA Basic.  Voila!  Thanks to all who responded.

  Photoshop CS5 to read files from Nikon D750 to atleast Camera Raw 8.7 or higher.

  However, I believe that you would not be able to update Camera Raw, so you can download and install the DNG Converter and convert the files to DNG.
