How can I get rid of erase local history whenever I close a page or tab?
Recently, I think after updating to Firefox 33.1, I started getting a pop up window for the management of the cookies, cache, history of navigation, downloads, etc., every time I close a page, or a tab. It's super annoying because I thought that I put in place those who works to make
manually.
It is not question of Firefox, its Addons that you have installed in your system

For the latter, you can check the field target in the Firefox desktop shortcut.Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem.
- Put yourself in the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/tools > Modules > appearance
- Do NOT click on the reset button on the startup window Mode safe

How can I get rid of all that have hijacked my homepage in Firefox 12 and replaced by a login page "Bank of America"? I have reset my home page in Options, but it does not help. I suspect that there is an entry of thugs in my Windows Vista registry. I tried to get rid of it with several antivirus programs, including MS Security Essentials, Avast, Spyware Doctor and Malwarebytes, but none removed the offending attacker. Help would be appreciated.

How can I get rid of a search engine that took the home page?
Search.US.com took my hone page and everything else he can. I tried all the suggestions allotted to me by the help section. I went up to delete cookies. It's very invasive. I looked to re-establish the system but have few options for recovery points and they do not include the download of search engine. I removed the add on it came with as well. I had removed the search engine in Add/Remove programs and was stupid when he asked if I wanted the restored default settings. I said no. I fear that I am pretty stupid when it comes to software. I hope someone can help me. Thank you for your time in this matter. PS I put what I thought was relevant in the bottom box. I had not seen this before. I tried to change it, but could not.

First of all, you should be able to reset your home page in the following dialog box:
Orange Firefox button or classic menu Tools > Options > general > getting started section
If that restores the next time, you have probably some other cleanup to do.
If you prefer to use the built-in Firefox homepage, this module can help rewire the Google search field:

How can I get rid of "Recently added" at the top of iTunes page?
For the Album, iTunes playlist has two sections. The highest is "recently added" - and the songs or albums, well, more recently added. Below, there is a complete list of all your albums, by icon.
I do not use "Recently added." In fact, I would like to get rid of if. How can I prevent iTunes who trace "recently added"? I want just a list of albums, and that's all.
Thank you!
Not exactly sure iTunes on Mac, but on Windows, the top right where you area selection where you see artists or Albums, if you tap it, you will see a checkbox for recently added. I have not found a way on my Windows computer so that it can remember this setting, but it's where you can turn it on or off.

How can I get rid of adds popping up whenever I click?
I think my macbook air has got a virus, all in a few clicks that a new tab opens and a pop ad on the one I've been, always on Paris or Web sites to get rid of the virus. This happened 6 months and I tried everything. Ive tried locking pop up adds and various ways. This occurred when I downloaded some kind of Downloader application, I've finally managed to get rid of it but do not add it brought with it. Clear all my Mac would help? I hope someone can help because it makes me so frustrated
You do not have a virus, because there is no virus for OS X. You have malware/adware is installed on your computer when you have installed some "Downloader application" was that you'd previously put on your hard drive. You have two options to remove it-
- Download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware for Mac. It was developed by an employee trust and respected here. It's a simple, non - intrusive program that removes malware known/adware from your hard drive. That's all that. It does nothing and is not take anything else.
- Follow the instructions provided in this Apple support article to manually remove-> http://support.apple.com/en-us/HT203987
In the future, do not download anything from the Mac App Store or from the Web site and absolutely no matter what download a torrent or a comprehensive download site. Often, installers are bundled with malware, and you end up right where you are now.

How can I get rid of the coding that adds more than one page to print email?
I now get more than just the sender, date, and issue information in emails. What information from "source"? Is it possible that I can print the email without printing the part "source"? I tried to copy what I would get if I printed the e-mail, but it's beyond my skill level. I hope that there is a switch somewhere that I can change to fix this problem.

JessAfter the level of cleaning system, you may have a browser extension that has not been removed. You can disable ALL non essential or extensions not recognized here - if in doubt, turn off:
Firefox orange (or the Tools menu) button > addons > Extensions category
Typically, a link will appear above at least an extension disabled to restart Firefox. You can complete your work on the tab and click one of the links in the last step.

I uninstalled Snap.do but not completely erase my whole history, nothing has worked so far. Whenever I open a new tab in Firefox, Snap.do is like the search bar. What a pain!
If you don't like to reset, follow these steps: go in firefox > addons > extensions and remove any suspicious entries (toolbars, the things that you have not installed intentionally, I don't know what purpose they serve, etc.). also, go to the windows control panel / programs and remove all toolbars or potentially unwanted software from there and run a full scan of your system with the security software you have in place and various other tools such as the free version of malwarebytes & adwcleaner.
Remove a toolbar that has supported your Firefox or the homepage search
Fix Firefox problems caused by malicious softwarethen install the reset search addon - he'll come back more often customizations make these adware programs in default firefox: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/searchreset/
