  I used an HDMI cable to connect my computer to the TV.  My screen went black.  I finally got my computer back screen, but some got locked folders.  I dropped the idea of linking my TV and computer because the TV is old and I don't want two monitors.

  I just read on unlocking using properties files and the tab share.  My Documents folder contains the my music (unlocked) folder and a folder my music locked (locked).  The same thing with my pictures, and my videos.  I discovered this when I tried to open an image in Paint and got this error message.  "The location is not available."

  When I tried to unlock folder my pictures, in properties, Security tab, to apply option is grayed out.  I also tried the sharing tab and it was also disabled.  I don't know much about the records and did not know that my music, my pictures, and my videos were located in the My Documents folder, but perhaps noticed them there before.  I often forget things.

  I really regret trying to connect my computer and TV; my computer screen is very nice to watch movies.  I just bought the TV rabbit and became obsessed by the idea.  It was a bad idea because my TV was not made for her.

  If the iPad still works and is connected to wifi, a backup should automatically happen (if iCloud backups are enabled) if it is connected and the locked screen.
