How can I keep my awesome bar list of sites

This morning, something has changed. When I opened firefox, all sites previously listed in the bar of the so-called great disappeared. I have re-registered, but when I open the browser again, they disappeared again. what I did that could have changed this and what should I do to get it back to the way that it used to be?

Have a look here:

Thank you

I like to see more of the image of the character, by right-clicking the (added) trailed Fox in the toolbar that is located on the right side of my favorites, the customization option appears, and the toolbar drops aprx. 1/4 "more reveling of my characters that I love. How can I keep the best overview of my character... Please...

A character consists of two images.

One large image (lightweighttheme-head, 3000 x 200) for the toolbars at the top and a smaller (lightweighttheme-foot, 3000 x 100) to the footer that are stored in the Firefox profile folder.

A light theme (Persona) covers the part of the user interface of Firefox (the toolbar area) and not the window of the browser with the internet pages.

You can create additional toolbars to get extra space via "view > toolbars > customize" to see more of the Persona.

You need to put something on a toolbar (drag an item of top space) before closing the window customize because empty toolbars are automatically deleted.

I followed the instructions provided by Mozilla.
    IT DOES NOT WORK.
No matter what I do, if I type in the bar location... also called the address bar... also called the Awesome bar... should have been called the useless bar... old sites Web will show that I have not visited in more than a year.
Even if I clear my history every day.

    Hello

To disable the address bar to not display search history results. You can do this by going to Firefox-> Options-> privacy and select the option that says: "when you use the location bar suggest" and set it to "nothing". I have attached a screenshot that might make it easy for you to locate.

    I hope this helps.

  • How can I disable the "Awesome Bar" altogether. I don't want any of this feature.

I WANT an address bar. I DON'T WANT an "Awesome Bar". In previous versions of FF, I was able to NOT SEARCH from the address bar. Now [FF 24 vs FF 17] I can not disable this rather undesirable behavior.

    I solved the problem...
There was misconduct 'key' left by installing and removing a toolbar for the search engine. The tag has been removed from "subject: config ', and the behavior of the browser scheduled is back. It would appear that perhaps some of the 'key' tags have been renamed since my last version - which may explain why the wandering behavior began with an update of the browser.

EDIT: BTW - the 'nothing' parameter should be set a monitoring framework that is not able to be changed by any other means. It must be set to replace all other behaviors. Moreover, it would be nice to have a Visual sense that obtained research is implemented off - by activating / disabling the default text in a "white" address bar of "search or enter the address" of "enter the address / search off»

  • My firefox doesn't have the awesome bar... How can I get the awesome bar?

I use Windows 8 and Firefox 19.0.1... I do not have the awesome bar at the top of the screen... Are there suggestions for the restoration of this feature?

    Hi Lew100

You are in full screen (press F11 to toggle)?

    You see the Navigation bar?

    • Firefox menu button > Options
    • View > toolbars (press F10 to display the menu bar)
    • Right click on empty toolbar space

You can check the problems caused by a corrupt localstore.rdf file.

  • How can I customize the "awesome bar"?

I just got the upgrade forced to 12 Firefox, and while I don't like for much of the new interface, I can cope. That said, I can't stand the changes to the "awesome bar". It's very distracting that it appears highlighted whenever I have my cursor on it, and I don't like that all of the text other than the main domain (e.g. mozilla.org) is grey. Is it possible to return to normal?

You'd be able to get almost all the customizations you want via Add-ons and personas. There is a good post about that and more here.

  • How can I get the Awesome Bar Google search parameters?

For example: if I type "site:support.mozilla.org browser" in Google or even some new-tab for Firefox addons, I get a page with the Google search results on this site for that keyword. If I type the same line in the "Awesome Bar", I get an error page.

I would like different settings of Google search through when you use the address bar to search.

This should work if you type search terms and additional parameters such as site:xxx.com at the end.

I want to delete several emails in Windows Live Mail. When I click on the button Delete in the upper part, the entire bar disappears. I want to keep it there all the time to use it to remove some of the emails but it keeps going away after a single use.

Right click on the home tab and click cut the Ribbon to deselect.

You can also ensure that the delete button is always visible by showing it on the Quick Access toolbar at the top of the window. There is a drop-down menu at the right end of the QUICK access with the controls bar, and others can be added by right-clicking on any command on the Ribbon and select Add to quick access toolbar.

Once you * hide * them - you won't see them even * less * they are re-certificate/changed/updated.  To whom it may * look like * see them again - but you can give the update more than a quick glance - because if she was re-certificate/updated / changed somehow - you might want to install this time.

    Hey, Wesley!

I tried some time ago, and it will do no good. I returned periodically to ensure that it was not unchecked, but he didn't.

Someone posted a response that a registry key has been corrupted and offered instructions on how to fix it. I ran utility troubleshooting, but that has not helped and was about to try to change the registry, but the message seems to have disappeared.

I tried to reinstall Windows on Windows, but the installation stalled after starting the system successfully. He must have done something right, because each window remains now as I put it, so my problem seems to have disappeared.

Thanks for your interest. If someone asked me, I would recommend refreshing Windows to solve the problem.
