In the drop-down menu, I selected all and in the boxes, I chose the browsing & download history, form & search, Cookies and Cache. That had no effect.

  I am using VI scripts and I try to add a digital indicator within a box structure.  I'm able to add the structure of the case and the digital display fine, but as soon as I determine the structure of the case as the 'owner' of the digital (rather than the pattern-block being owner) I get error 1060.  Is there a way to get around this?

  Note: I am doing this is because this particular (indicator in a case structure) provision will prevent a VI to be inline when it is built.  This model will provide no functionality itself, it prevents only inlining.  It is added to a larger VI which is used to initialize objects in a simulation, and there are many of them in the total simulation.  If they are inlined, it takes a long time to generate the C code and a performance on this VI is not a problem because it is run only once at the beginning of the simulation.  The rest of the screw must be inline for performance reasons.  Therefore, I am open to other options to avoid a screw of Inline if 'the indicator in a structure of the case' can be done via the script.

  You mentioned you want to only read text files.

  If you are referring to a specific set of extensions, you can filter on this basis.

  ex: you want to only read .txt files, you can add an if condition as below:

  I think that it is a very basic question, but I'm stuck. I have a structured application that is supposed to use an XSLT to preprocess files. I added a XMLApplication/XSLTPreferences/pre-treatment/Stylesheet; I have tried manually with the designer. Now, I try to open an XML file in a book and it does not seem to use the style sheet at all. He asks for the type of application, I select, and then it just opens the file as it was without applying the XSLT.

  Could someone please explain to me how this is supposed to work?

  Background: I have a structured application put in place by someone else who already has the right structure and have already put it in a book. I want to write an XSLT for the same file but through the pre-treatment of the instructions for the conditional tags, but cannot enforce. I'm good in XSLT, but my level FrameMaker is a novice.

  It should work, because from your description, it seems that you are doing everything correctly. So, let me ask the obvious questions, no intention to insult you:

  -You're absolutely sure that the path in structapps is correct? Have you tried both an absolute and a relative path?

  -Are you sure that you add the parameter to the correct structapps file? More recent versions of FM maintain two copies... one in the installation of FM area and one in the box user/AppData. At the start, FM "merges" parameters of the two. If there is a request at a time with the same name, I think that the users area is a priority and the other definition is simply ignored.

  -Are you sure that XSLT works? In other words, you ran it on one of your files source manually?

  I know it works because I use the feature regularly, like many others. There must be something simple going wrong here.

  If I change the line I mentioned earlier of XDG_DESKTOP_DIR = "$HOME" to XDG_DESKTOP_DIR = "/ home/username" solved the problem.

  I still think it's a bug, since it was supposed to be the same. Maybe something prevents firefox form interpret "$HOME" as it should.

  I'm generating a sine wave using the vi simulate Signal Express. I then use a feedback node to delay the signal of a specific amount. The front displays 2 charts: one of the original signal and another of the delayed signal.

  It is built in function that does this for you.  It recursively traverses the path to the root.  It is not the best in terms of performance, but if you're not in large environments in bulk to a large number of managed entities, it will work fine.
