  I'm sorry to say, but I think it is a very bad idea.  Flash navigation elements are not good practices on the web, because you cannot be 100% sure that your visitor has the Flash Player on your computer.  In addition, the search engines don't analyze reliable these links for SERP purposes on the page.  Finally, any person using an assistive device to the screen will not be able to use these items.  Using a graph prepared in FW or PS, however, will not have these disadvantages and will be 100% reliable/useable for all categories (assuming that you have correctly provided a descriptive alt attribute for the image).

  You can't do that in HTML - it needs to be done in the Actionscript of Flash at the moment you make the button. It is yet another reason why use Flash navigation items is a bad idea...

  I installed a new Belkin N600DB router to my computer (Windows XP), and it works very well.  But I can't access the advanced tools section.  The link buttons are unresponsive. It is only on my XP desktop.  I tried the software on my laptop (Vista) and it works fine.  Technical support Belkin said that's not their problem, since the worsks of the software on another computer.  They suggested that I have to contact my system administrator (I guess than me?) and check the settings on the first computer so that it allows the software to run.  Any ideas?

  Hi PML - I followed the steps to get my Belkin software to install correctly, but nothing helped.  I have never had any problems with the installation of the software up to date.  Guess I'll just use the ip address of Belkin in the future.  Thanks anyway.

  I made links with distinct colors using css, but the links with new colors have no hover property. I want these links change color when the cursor passes over them in the same way other links on my page only. I tried to make a new css for < hover > rule and tried to write to the property in the css code, but without result. I searched the web and this forum for an answer and found notheing that works. Anyone know how to give links with several colors of a hover property that will make them change color? All my other links change color as defined in the properties page, but links with the new rules of color change of color more. It's probably pretty basic. I'm new to DW, using CS6.   I'm on Windows XP with Service Pack 4.  The "show common tasks in folders" checked in folder options and my windows Explorer opens with the "common tasks" bar on the left side.  I have to click on 'files' (in the top tool bar) to get my files to display on the left.  If I click on "use Windows classic folders" instead of "Show common tasks in folders" my explore opens with no left bar at all and I still click on 'files' to have folders appear in the position of the left side bar.  Can I solve this case everytime I open windows Explorer opens on the side bar of folders on the left and content on the right?  If Yes, where and how do the default every time I open windows Explorer?  Thanks for any help, that all the world can offer.

  Thank you very much.  This has not only had what I wanted, but also extend this ability to any file folder I click on.  What I was really doing was: I saved a link to a set of "my computer" window microsoft explore my d: drive (my data partition) so it automatically goes to what I look at in explore more often rather than having open 'my computer' and go through several steps to get to the open D: partition.  But I still had to push the button of "folders" at the top of the page to open the view in the left bar of my directories - every time.  With your help my link now opens windows Explorer set up exactly the way I want every time!  You have saved me from countless steps repetative in the future for every time I open windows Explorer.
