  First of all, please note that you mean a computer, not a cpu.  "CPU" means "Central processing unit". In modern personal computers, the CPU is a relatively small chip, an integrated circuit.   Given that you tried to delete the folders manually before, please also try to uninstall the Application Manager and then try to reinstall by downloading the Adobe Application Manager again.

  For your first question, I recommend you to go to the Edit Menu-> preferences-> category accessibility-> substitute Page display and choose "single Page continuous."
