  You can change the default GPU for a program via the NVIDIA Control Panel, simply click on the Lightroom icon and select run with graphics processor-processor > choose default graphics...

  You will receive an option to select the graphic processor preferred for Lightroom.

  My advice would be NOT to disable the Intel HD in the Panel peripheral card.

  Thank you for posting on the Adobe forums, please try the steps mentioned below, hope it helps.

  (1) open Adobe Reader > Preferences (Windows) change

  (2) pass > general under categories menu and click on select default manager PDF and choose Adobe Reader, you would see the installation of Adobe Reader bar crossed and it would be done.

  You can CTRL + click on mac > news > open with and replace it with Adobe Reader.
