How can I tell which VI stops my closing EXE

Hi all

I developed a test system which must control 4 different test simultaneously stations using the same e/s materials, so some of my screws are re-entrant (previously assigned). My curls are all controlled by Loop.vi (see "A Software Engineering approach to Labview") and Loop2.vi. My process of output translates into the main release of VI and all closed loops, but stays VI main running. I'm pretty confident that there is no operation of course material, but I think that there must be a sub - VI somewhere which is still ongoing.

I'll copy the project to my development environment with the debugger. How can I find which VI still work? Is there a tool of tree appeal somewhere?

Thanks for any help

Ray

Hi all

Thanks for the replies. I found very useful Task Manager tool and the Abort VI is now on my desk and in regular use, as you suggest.

Tools showed me that only my main VI was running, and so I thought that I had a loop somewhere running... This proved to not be the case - I found nothing using the debugger - there was nothing running and the VI did not close yet. However, I then discovered that a second click on the exit button would allow the VI close, so I guessed it was related events. Finally I found that waiting on the façade VI activity blocking the exit and let VI closed loop without waiting terminal on waiting for the problem fixed front activity, as has been expected more for a second click of wiring. And of course, this does not show in the debugger!

Thanks again,

Ray

    When Outlook Express 6 detects emails from a name in the right column indicates the folder in which it is in. How can you tell which folder this folder is located in?

    OE does not have the capacity to tell you where the folder is located in the folder hierarchy.  You can select different trees under local folders to find what subfolder is and what kind of tree it is under.  Unless folders.dbx is corrupted (which happens a bit), then OE will not create folders for you.  If folders.dbx is corrupt or not, I would suggest that you backup the files and the registry (see www.oehelp.com/OETips.aspx#6) before things become corrupt, because you seem to have a complex organization from your e-mail folders.

  • How can I tell which modules have been validated as safe? When clicking on 'Add to Firefox' I get the window scary WARNING about only using modules of trust

    The scary warning that appears when I click on 'Add to Firefox' for some an add-on discouraged me from actually installing.
    "Install modules only authors that you trust. Malicious software can cause damage to your computer or violate your privacy... (author not verified) »
    In particular, I am interested in the password exporter add-on. I want to be especially careful because it accesses all of my passwords stored in Firefox. How can I really know if an add-on is safe or not?

    The warning that appears when you try to install could probably be better worded. All, it's basically is to make sure that you want to install the addon (that's why he gave the name of Add-ons) and reminds the warning only install from a Web site, you trust. I hope that the site of mozilla Add-ons, if you do as well, and then install from there. I wouldn't trust a securities site something like "free extensions 4 u" or something, but some people might. It's a personal judgment call.

  • How can I tell which version of the PS tools a PSJoa.jar belongs to?

    Hello

    Is there a way I can tell by looking at the file PSJoa.jar which Version of PeopleSoft tool it belongs? For example, the file psjoa.jar is for PS Version of the 8.51.22 tool.

    I looked at the file 'manifest. MF', but it does not list information. I see that we can update the file manifest with the information but we do not want to change the file.

    Is there a particular .class file I can look at? Is there a software that can tell me what version it is? Any suggestions?

    Let me explain a bit what I am trying to accomplish. I am writing a program that allow our network guys to determine the Version of the PS tools file psjoa.jar is, once they deploy to the servlet to confirm that it is correct.

    For example, if you put "& command = version" as well as the URL, it will return the version of the PS tools.

    Any help is appreciate!

    Thank you

    Thone

    Taylor,

    Can you give me more information on how you intend to implement what you do? Maybe we can come up with something better.
    Here's what made my one liner...

    Uncompress - c psjoa.jar psft/pt8/net/ND.class | channels | grep 8.51

    Uncompress-c psjoa.jar psft/pt8/net/ND.class ; unpacks the psft/pt8/net/ND.classfile single classfile to stdout, so we can proceed directly to the channels
    because the jar files is compressed we need uncompressed for channels to be useful
    strings is displayable strings in binary files read from stdin (unzip) and past on stdout for grep
    grep search string that specify us in the stdin (strings) in the example 8.51

    You can do the same thing under windows with a command line tools to do.
    The last windows shop that I was had a dezippeur from command line, you can get a windows version of strings and then use find or findstr
    decompression options can be different, and maybe he won't stand out in stdin, in which case it would need to be 2 separate orders

    the other option, to which I referred was to write your own java utility that I wrote as fast it took me to type this post... I guess you could do something similar from a JSP page should this be web-based.

    package psjoaversion;
    Import psft.pt8.net.ND;
    / public class PsjoaVersion implements {ND
    Public Shared Sub main (String [] args) {}
    System.out.println (TOOLS_REL);
    }

  • How can you tell which clips have effects

    Hello

    For the first time from CC'ing in first using Speedgrade, and especially it is going well.  One thing that I'm used to first is the small clip thumbnail "FX" turning purple when an effect is applied.  This is a quick way to look at a calendar and see what items were or were not CC' ed.

    I realize in SG, the default setting is to have applied to all clips of Lumetri.  But it is applied by default with no real change in the image.  Is there an indication similar to first in the chronology of the SG to show if a clip has had its effect options adjusted compared to the default setting?

    Thank you

    Robert

    IF you use SpeedGrade "native" mode, not through the Di-Link on a project of PrPro on just clips after the name of the clip...

    The run-in too small wheels of color. If we passed the name, there are some applied... grading, otherwise, it's 'naked '.

    However... somehow when they made Direct to SpeedGrade in PrPro setting, this little bit was left out. If any of the clips show all marker placement if or not they have been classified in the PrPro, Sg, or even "naked". As below...

    Note that you can click on the black fx button to turn off all the filing, both made in PrPro and who is in the Official Journal. While watching the fields of application, you can clearly see if SOMETHING changes to get a good idea if something had been made to this clip.

    But... and the lines & question marks I posted show... There is no track indicator of the effects applied to a clip. Wish he was there.

    And here is the link of the hand-dandy to the request page feature... PLEASE deposit one, because that is where the info becomes actually both management team and those above them as well as both the importance of a program and how 'big' a bug or feature request... 'East '.

    https://www.Adobe.com/cfusion/mmForm/index.cfm?name=wishform

    Scroll down... SpeedGrade is at the bottom of the list.

  • How can I tell which driver or other updates to use? I can't find a list of ACER Aspire components.

    I want to make sure that all my drivers and other things are up to date. However, I can't find a list of components that need drivers etc on my Acer Aspire XC-603. The list of drivers on the download page are about 10-12 and none seem to have names I recognize. I want ACER to download automatically the drivers and software upgrades, so I don't have to understand all the time. Thank you.

    lse872,

    Acer drivers on its support page positions. If you are unsure what drivers to update with, there is a link above the drivers listed that said: need to know the hardware on your system to choose the correct drivers? If you click on that it will do a scan of your device and you say what elements of material you have so that download you the appropriate drivers.

    There are many sites that are regularly displayed when you're looking who want download you them.  A bit of its very useful, but I'm afraid to download for the usual reasons.  Is there a good way to determine which ones is safe?  Thanking you in advance.

    For an additional layer of security, consider using DoNotTrackPlus of abine.com. There may be some problems with installation on some versions of IE 8, but if able to install the results will be very beneficial in the protection of privacy online. If using Google Chrome installation should not be a problem. (also available in the Chrome Web Store) Also suggest adding keep my Opts-out with Chrome before March 1st Google Privacy policy achievements.

    I hope this helps.
