How can I temporarily redirect a C download on USB?

I want to download the Windows 7 USB/DVD Download tool on a USB installation file. My system is configured to automatically download programs on C drive. There is nothing in the installer that allows me to redirect the download. How can I redirect without having to go into the registry and make changes for a single download?

When you click on a download link that you should be presented with a small window pop up at the bottom of the desktop computer with 3 options for you to choose, one of them is "save under", try this option.  To access and use the option "Save as", use the drop down arrow next to "Save".

You can also try IE / tools / downloads View / Options (bottom) and set your own download location.
