How can I uninstall DisplayLink so that it asks Me to install
Hello
When I uninstall DisplayLink and reboot, I can use my Dell S2340T monitor just by connecting via HDMI and USB (to reach) and it works fine. However, a window of DisplayLink ceases to appear asks me to install the drivers from DisplayLink, constantly all the time.
I don't want to use DisplayLink with TI-never more. Although it would be great to just connect with a cable, when these drivers are installed (Lenovo Yoga 13 Windows 8), it causes a significant delay occurs at the launch of Win 8 apps (even if the monitor is not connected) * which disappears when I uninstall graphics of them and also blurred when loading, gradients of desktop background apps and quickly graphic movement. Without the monitor drivers is strong and fast! So not worth the problems causing DisplayLink, and I don't want to be asked each time to install... How can I make the computer forget DisplayLink all together once they are uninstalled?
Thanks for your help :-)
See you soon,.
Scott
Hi Chris,
The way DisplayLink people have been able to help me solve it, is to turn on the Green Mode, flow this disables their chip. This means that the Ethernet does not work, but that's normal with me as I use a wireless network. So now I'm able to use only the HDMI and the link upstream USB with the monitor. Unfortunately, I now have another problem, but I'll put it in a separate post, as this one is solved. Thank you very much for your help!
See you soon,.

How can I uninstall a program that does not show in my add and remove program?
I downloaded a program called Imesh is a file sharing program. Should have never downloaded it. I can not even find an uninstall icon to remove it. I looked in the folder program files and it didn't no Imesh folder. When I click on the Start button and select programs. I shows that the icon there but not uninstall icon.
Can someone help me please? Would be very happy.
Thank you

You should never uninstall an application by going to C:\Program Files and simply delete the application folder.
If there is no link "Uninstall" in the entry of the application in the start menu > all programs, you must uninstall it by going to control panel > Add / Remove programs. Select the application and click the "Uninstall" button
Sometimes, you must stop the application before you uninstall it. This is the case with iMesh. See--> http://support.imesh.com/index.php?/Knowledgebase/Article/View/28/0/uninstall--install
Well that does not mention the body of your question by using the control panel > Add / Remove Programs, the subject line is. So, if in fact you tried that method and iMesh is not listed there, then either
Reinstall iMesh and see if it then appears in Control Panel > Add / Remove programs
or
Free download Revo Uninstaller. Stop iMesh as described and then use Revo to uninstall.

original title: PROGRAMS to UNINSTALL & FEATURES
I've used this laptop (Windows Vista) about 500 hours in the 12-18 months (3 GB RAM & 320 GB HARD drive). There are 65 PROGRAMS & FEATURES INSTALLED (for example, are 65 too in 12 to 18 months?) for a total of 2.48 GB. Of the 65 programs & features, 15 were used "FREQUENTLY", three 3 were used "OCCASIONALLY" and all others, "RARELY." The computer is Acer (c) and 244 GB free out of 286 GB. The processor is 'Genuine Intel(r) CPU U2700 @ 1.30 GHz. I would use this PC exclusively for WEB SURFING & YOU TUBE VIDEOS and especially of REARVIEW. TV (maybe there's another even better site for movies B & W '30 s, 40 s' & ' 50 s - I'm still doing research) to watch old Hollywood B & W movies. I would appreciate any advice on what changes should I make of this laptop.
Thank you very much.JoeHey Joe,
You can remove these unwanted programs by following these steps:
(a) by clicking on the Start button, click Control Panel, clicking programs, and then clicking programs and features, open programs and features .
(b) select a program, and then click Uninstall. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

How can I uninstall/reinstall the games?
I'm having a problem of the pixalating to display only when I try to play all the games that come with Windows 7, hearts, Minesweeper, etc.. There are no other games installed. This is on a Dell Studio 1537 laptop. When I open any game, there are small, vertical lines of black horizontal lines across what is on the diesplay. When she did this, the title bar also has these horizontal lines through it. These lines through the title bar will be carried over to Word, Excrl, or any program, I opened up a restart. I can only do these lines appear after the opening of a game. Reference Dell already has replaced the motherboard, cable and display two days ago, and it is always the case. How can I uninstall these games from my laptop and copy the same games my win7 desktop and install on my laptop? Is there a way to put a photo here that would do what I'm trying to explain having easier? Thank you.
Mark
Mark,
Yes, deleting and reinstalling would be a good step. I would start by updating the video card driver. Make sure you get the latest driver on the card manufacturer site. Mike - Engineer Support Microsoft Answers

How can I uninstall/reinstall/repair DirectX 9.0?
I bought and downloaded a game from Big Fish Games. The package came with an update of DirectX 9.0, as is necessary to play the game I bought. I couldn't play games I downloaded because DirectX keeps freezing. I ran dxdiag and tested. When I tested the DirectX 3D it froze. I tried to download the same program from Microsoft to see if that would prompt an automatic repair, but it would not install it because it was already installed. I also tried to uninstall it from my Add/Remove Programs, but it wasn't the case to find. I have a Wiindows XP service pack 3. How can I solve this problem?
Try to re-install or, if necessary, uninstall and then reinstall your video card driver. That should reset the pointers and let it work. Dxdiag should show your version as DirectX 9 .0c (4.09.0000.0904).
Most of the games that install DirectX will allow you to cancel and continue with the rest of the installation. If you are already at the latest version, which would be best to do.
If all else fails, you would probably have a Restore Point created at the time you did the initial installation of the game. Restore to this point.
