How can manual uninstall older versions of Acrobat Reader?

I recently upgraded from Windows 7 to Windows 10.  After meeting with sound problems, that Microsoft support has failed to solve, I returned to Windows 7.   Unfortunately, Acrobat Reader with automatically deleted in the process.   I am now having trouble to reinstall Acrobat Reader.   The installer downloads, but the installation stops and it is an error message reading: "the component you are trying to use is on a network unavailable resource."   Click OK to try again or enter another path to the folder containing the installation package "ArcoRead.msi" in the box below.

I think what I have to do is to make sure that all versions previous and their components have been removed.  How to do this manually?   Also Windows uninstaller fails to remove previous, perhaps damaged or incomplete versions.

Hi erictico,

Try uninstalling the drive using this tool to clean up Download Adobe Reader and Acrobat tool - Adobe Labs.

Restart your system & reinstall it using this link Adobe - Adobe Acrobat Reader DC Distribution.

Kind regards
Nicos
