How do I backup updates windows vista installed before recovery to factory setting?

Is it possible to backup installed windows updates? I intend to do a reinstallation of the system on a DV2225nr to factory settings, but I don't want to lose all the Windows Update has been installed in it. The last time when I did a recovery to factory settings it already took several hours just by practice and even Windows updates took forever to update. Thanks in advance. any help or advice will be greatly appreciated.

You cannot back up your windows updates... you have to REINSTALL them from the Windows Update program on the computer... no other way around it... insofar as some need to be installed before others are still visible on the computer...

    Anyway, here, many made to better understand:

    -Recovery image is saved in the folder called HDDRecovery on the second partition and partition hidden with recovery image doesn't exist

    I had to replace the failed hard drive on my laptop (I replaced it with the same brand and size).

    After that I used the recovery CD, Windows Update gives me error code A 8024, 000.
