  According the description, I understand that you are facing one creating problem HomeGroup.

  It could be that some services will be disabled. I suggest you activate services and check.

  Follow the steps to enable the services.

  You need start the following services:

  (a) peer networking grouping

  (b) PNRP Machine Name Publication Service

  Method 1: To start these services, follow these steps:

  (a) click the Windows key + R on the keyboard.

  (b) type Services.msc in the search programs and files, and then press ENTER.

  (c) right-click Peer Networking Grouping, and then click Properties.

  (d) on the general tab, check whether the service is started. If the service is not started, click Start.

  (e) in the startup type list, select automatic.

  (f) click OK.

  (g) repeat steps 1B to 1F to start PNRP Machine Name Publication Service.

  Method 2: Modify a registry key entry to enable IPv6. To do this, follow these steps:

  (a) click the Windows key + R on the keyboard.

  (b) type regedit in the search programs and files, and then press ENTER.

  (c) locate and then click the following registry subkey:

  HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\services\TCPIP6\Parameters

  (d) double-click the DisabledComponents registry entry, and then type 0 in the value data box.

  Note If the DisabledComponents registry entry is not present, you must create it. To do this, point to new on the Edit menu, click DWORD value, type DisabledComponents, and press ENTER.

  (e) exit the registry Editorand restart the computer.

  Homegroup is a special mode that works only between Win 7 computer and battery needs IPv6. Internet and network home and work use IPv4.
