How do you configure L7780 Mac wireless digital archiving?

I have a L7780 wireless all-in-one. It has an IP of 192.168.1.2 (example)

I have a Mac laptop under Leopard, whose IP (example) 192.168.1.3

No matter how I try, I can't get the L7780 do a digital archiving with the Mac... I actually got it to work once, but then for some reason any it stopped working, and I can't do anything to make it work again... He comes up with the error "password and PIN are incorrect", OR even when I'm just trying to scan to the computer in the Menu scan, it does not recognize my Mac and says that I should implement my connections... I tried turning power on and off the computer / printer...

I want a digital archive in a folder named DOCS, in a folder named SCAN in documents of my username...

That's how I got it Setup before, when I went to 192.168.1.2 to edit digital archiving for the L7780 and it worked for a while...

\\192.168.1.3\username\Documents\SCAN\DOCS

I guess the password is the password I use to connect to my computer associated with my user name

& PIN? I don't know what it is, I might have put in place once, but don't remember what it was

Is someone can you PLEASE tell me how to set up? with typing exact IE

Have you tried these instructions?

Best regards / Jim B

  • How can I configure to print wirelessly on a Mac

    Hi guys,.

I recently bought the HP Laser jet P1102w.  I took the printer on location work and used for the first time.  It was a process of soimple of the printer and automatically downloaded and installed MAC software.

As we were out of the office, us were not connected to the wireless network and was therefore not able to configure the printer to the netwrok.

Now that we're back in the office, I want to set up the printer so that it can be used without wire of all devices connected to the network.

I can't find how to do on MAC OS X 10.6.8.  I removed the printer from the Print & Scan utility and tried to install it again when you are connected to the network, however I am still only able to print when connected by USB.

I understand that I can print via the device connected to the network, but rather would set it up to do all together with wireless.

Please can you point me in the direction to find the instructions for set up?

    Any help is most appreciated.

    Hi @EI2014 ,

Make sure that Safari is set as default browser. Sometimes, the built-in Web server will not open in other browsers.

Open Safari, at the top, select the Safari menu, select Preferences, general, as a default value.

Claire on the former network settings on the printer.

Turn the printer off, press and hold the wireless button and cancel (x button) while turning the printer on and do not release both buttons until the printer stops making the noise.

Print a configuration report and check the SSID address and IP are disabled.
    Print a Configuration Page.

Plug the USB cable from the printer to the Mac.

Go to Apple, system preferences, print and fax.

    Double-click the P1102w.

    Open the utility.

    Click Printer Setup.

    Click config HTML.

This should open the Web built-in to the printer server.

    Click the network tab.
Click on wireless in the list on the left.
    Under Communication Mode, click Infrastructure.

Select your network SSID from the list of available network names (SSID), then click on the< button="" so="" the="" network="" name="" moves="" over="" to="" other="">
In the Safe Mode pop-up menu, under authentication, click WEP, WPA/WPA2 or open. Your selection depends on which wireless security protocol using your network.

Make sure that you select hexadecimal or alpha according to your password. (very important)

    Apply the settings.

In the confirmation box (changes have been registered), click OK.

You should get a solid blue light on the printer shortly.

All we have to do is remove the USB driver and add the network driver.

    Click on the Apple.
    Click on System Preferences.

    Click the print and fax.

Select the printer, and then click the sign - to remove the printer. (USB driver)

    Unplug the USB cable.

Then click on the + sign and select the printer from the list and click Add. (Hello p1102w)

    Test the printer.

If you have problems with the opening of HTML configuration, then perform the following steps:

    Close all applications.

In the Apple menu, click on Go, computer, MAC hard drive, library, Printers, HP, LaserJet, click the folder for your printer, click browser EWS / config HTML, click on the network tab, click on wireless on the left and fill out your information. (Make sure infrastructure is selected) Apply the settings.

Remove the USB driver, then add the network printer.

    Test the printer.

If you need help, let me know.

    Good day!
    Thank you.

  • How did you configure the OTP-S5100 to ignore a NET connection?

We bought the Blu - ray Sony BDP-S5100 player for playing discs - do not connect to Netflix, or any other service online. Looked in the manual and configuration settings I can't find a way to say to ignore - and stop trying to connect to-in home wireless LAN. This adds unnecessary items to the MAIN menu, it slows down the cycle ON / OFF, and, worse, the machine insists on leaving the word 'NET' on the screen, rather than numbers of meter by the game disc. The only way to clear it is to return the HOME page, and then press PLAY again once.

Is it possible to configure this machine to ignore the NET?

    Thank you.

Thanks, SamT, for your response. The reason why I did not "Accept [ed this] as a Solution" is that the options you mentioned after the restart were not there, in particular,

"8 perform an EASY INSTALL and select DO NOT ALLOW INTERNET CONNECTION (in step 4)."

There was no menu selection everywhere to say he cannot do not Internet connection. However, I performed steps 1 to 7 and then made a point to avoid the Net menu selections. Now, it seems is not to search for the connection and all mentions of him flies by without pause. So, it's better than before.

  • How do you configure vi at the exit of the average of data?

    Hello

I'm trying to configure my vi to calculate the average, as the data are read by the computer. I tried storing the data in a table, then using the statistics option to calculate the average of arithmentic without success. I have the vi, set up for the output data, as we read on the screen. It seems that the table is not store data, instead, I get the same value of the average with respect to the data.

    Any ideas?

    Thank you

    Sumit.

You not save the data in a table. You convert the scalar you get from the pulse function in a table 1 d with a single element. You do also very confusing and complicated way. All these conversions of/Dynamics/1 d/2D/Dynamics/1 d are all simply ridiculous. Whenever the loop goes through, get you a whole new table 1 d with a single element. For good build a table, you would need a change of registry with a function of table building connected to it. You can also use the PtByPt function mean cable directly to the exit of scalar measures pulse.

Launch applications with the key Option key and choose or create a library on the external hard drive. Unless they are launched while the disconnected player or a problem arises, you won't have to start over.

IPhoto needs to be stored on a volume formatted as Mac OS extended. You should also keep copies on a second external drive in the event of failure of one.

Old but good, networking tips from MVP Malke, MS:

The best and simplest is to buy a wireless router. This way you get Internet connectivity both machines and the added benefit of security more between you and the Internet. Then you configure your network wireless safely, and then you configure file/printer sharing. Here is information on the implementation of a router and also in networking. It seems long, but don't be intimidated. Setting up a router and the LAN of sharing between two computers takes about 15 minutes.

    The router configuration

Setting up a router is simple enough. Normally, you run the CD that came with the router and follow the instructions. If you're running Vista, maybe the CD that came with the router does not work; I do not know this. But you can set up the router without the CD. Note that if you have Internet cable for the connection you have just set up the router to DHCP (or there may even be a choice of cable to choose). If you have DSL Internet, you select TRP usually and enter the username and password you selected when you initially set the DSL connection. So:

    1. turn off the power to your cable modem.

    2. attach a cable (usually supplied with the router) course Ethernet cat5e Internet/WAN port of the router to the Ethernet port on the cable modem.

    3. connect the ethernet cable cat5e from the network card in your computer to one of the ports on the router. If you do not have an ethernet cable (because you were using USB), you will need to go to the store and buy a.

    4. turn on the cable modem. After that all the lights are on, turn on the router.

    To configure the router:

Have a computer connected to the router with an ethernet cable. Examples given are for a Linksys router. See the manual of your router or the router mftr's Web site. for the parameters by default if you don't have a Linksys. Open a browser such as Internet Explorer or Firefox and in the address bar type:

http://192.168.1.1 [Enter] (it is default IP address of the router, which varies from router to router then check your manual)

This will bring you to the login screen of the router. The default username is blank and the Linksys default password is "admin" without the quotes. Enter this information. You are now in the configuration of the router utility. Your configuration utility may be slightly different from mine.

Click the Administration link at the top of the page. Enter your new password. MAKE A NOTE SOMEWHERE THAT YOU WILL NOT LOSE. Re-enter the password to confirm it, and then click Save settings at the bottom of the page. The router will reboot and show you the box of connection again. Do not fill in the user name and put it in your new password to enter the configuration utility.

Now, click on the link wireless at the top of the page. Change the network name (SSID) wireless by default to something, you'll recognize. I suggest that my clients not use their surname as the SSID. For example, you might want to name your network wireless network "CastleAnthrax" or similar.

Click on save settings and when you get the prompt that your changes were successful, click the wireless security link which is just beside the Basic Wireless Settings link (where you changed your SSID). If you have a newish computer, you will be able to affect security WPA2-Personal Mode. Do this and enter a password. The password is what you enter on all computers that are allowed to connect to the wireless network. MAKE A NOTE SOMEWHERE THAT YOU WILL NOT LOSE.

At this point, your router is set up and if the computer that you use to configure the router will normally connect wireless, disconnect the Ethernet cable and wireless of the computer should see your new network. Enter the password you created to join the network and start surfing.

    B. file/printer sharing of

Excellent, comprehensive, but easy to understand article on sharing files/printer under Vista. Contains information about sharing printers and files, and the folders:

    http://TechNet.Microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb727037.aspx

For XP, start by running the Network Setup Wizard the on all machines (see warning in section A below).

Problems sharing files between computers on a network are usually caused by 1) a misconfigured firewall or a firewall neglected (including a dynamic firewall in a virtual private network); or (2) inadvertently run two firewalls such as the firewall of Windows and a third-party firewall. and/or (3) do not have accounts to the same users and passwords on all computers in the workgroup. (4) tries to create actions where the operating system does not.

    A. configure the firewall on all machines to allow traffic to local area network (LAN) as being approved. With the Windows Firewall, it means which allows file sharing / print on the Exceptions tab normally run the XP Network Setup Wizard will take care of this for these machines. The only "witch hunt", it will turn on the XPSP2 Windows Firewall. If you are not running a third-party firewall or you have an antivirus with "Internet Worm Protection" (like Norton 2006/07) which acts as a firewall, you're fine.  With a third-party firewall, I usually set up the allocation of LAN with an IP address range. E.g. would be 192.168.1.0 - 192.168.1.254. Obviously you would substitute your correct subnet. Do not run more than one firewall. DON'T STOP FIREWALLS; CONFIGURE THEM CORRECTLY.

    (B) to facilitate the Organization, put all computers in the same workgroup. This is done from the System applet in Control Panel, the computer name tab.

    C. create the counterpart of the user accounts and passwords on all machines. You do not need to be logged into the same account on all machines and assigned to each user account passwords can be different; accounts/passwords just need to exist and to match on all machines. DO NOT NEGLECT TO CREATE PASSWORDS, EVEN IF ONLY OF SIMPLE. If you want a machine to boot directly to the desktop (a particular user account) for convenience, you can do this. The instructions on this link work for XP and Vista:

Set up Windows to automatically connect (MVP Ramesh) - http://windowsxp.mvps.org/Autologon.htm

    D. Si one or more of the computers is XP Pro or Media Center, turn off Simple file sharing (Folder Options > view tab).

    E. create share as you wish. XP Home does not share the users directory or the Program Files, but you can share folders inside those directories. A better choice is to simply use the Shared Documents folder. See the first link above for more information on Vista sharing.

    F. you have the job of file sharing (and tested by exchanging a file between machines), if you want to share a printer connected locally to one of your computers, share of this machine. Then go to the printer mftr Web site. and download the latest drivers for the correct system. Install them on the target machines. The printer must be collected during the installation procedure. If this isn't the case, install the drivers and then use the Add Printer Wizard. In some cases, printers must be installed as local printers, but it is outside this response.
