  No, this does not work John.  This is all very confusing.  I finally thought to it (I don't know how) but found a place to download the update, but then to accept my RAW images I also had the Application Download Manager and update that too.  Everything is very confused.  If I had not had a copy of Lightroom ever since first, he went out and had an account with Adobe, I would have probably given upward.  They do everything they can to hide the fact that you can buy stand alone and just keep harping on the cc.  If all goes well with my Nikon and Sony equipment I'm going to upgrade in the near future.  Thanks for your idea if.

  It's pretty easy:

  Just install LR on the second computer and copy the .lrcat file from the old computer to the new and then open it using LR on the new computer. Make sure the external hard drive is attached.

  He has a record that lives in the same folder as your catalog file, named .lrdata. This package contains all the previews of your images that are displayed when you are in the generated Lightroom library Module. If you do not copy it to the new machine, LR it will rebuild, but it will take more time than would the copy operation, so you should copy this folder across, too.

  • Printer - does the printer itself knows that the tray is present? Check by printing a report 'configuration', or by checking the settings with the built-in Web server. If the tray is not recognized, this implies a physical problem with fitting tray, etc.
