  Hello Monica, just had the same problem.

  Once Windows updated and restarted, I had the old theme of look silvery as XP.

  There was an error message "Unable to connect to a windows service - Windows connection impossible for etc system event notification service."

  I just rebooted and things are back to normal.

  I have Microsoft XP Professional. My computer is Dell. The new thing is happening now, as when I start the system, it starts normally. Then I go my usual login and password to enter.   This is usually caused by a bad deletion of malware on your computer.  Somehow, you have to boot from a CD that allows you to change the file system or the registry files.

  The following link shows how this can be fixed by starting with a BartPE disk (go to paragraph "registry value incorrect that prevents you to log on to your user account in Windows XP?")
  I find this freeware Hirens Boot CD is easier to create and can be used to follow the same steps.

  The start and end of the Text.vi in Format Word values are the positions of the characters in the document. The values start at 0 on the first (or ASCII character such as a space, tab, or carriage return) and for each character (or the ASCII character). So for example if I wanted to "BOLD" the word "carrots" in the list below, where the values start at 0 on the word 'grocery store '.

  Grocery store:

  Apples

  Black berries

  Carrots

  Detergent

  Then I would enter a start 33 and the end of the 40s, making sure to count the ramasseherbe returns and spaces.

  I did a quick test. I created a canvas and filled with a color. I created another layer and created a selection with the marquee tool button and a 100px feather (you would have to experiment with the pen). I inverted the selection and filled with black. Then experimented with opacity in the layers panel and blend modes.

  Create the text and then use effect > Warp > Arch to get the text to bend upward in the middle. Then use the effect > 3D > extrude and bevel for the text to expand to the far. You'll have to play with the rotation to get the correct aspect for the distance, but it's the cursor from the Perspective that will allow the text to fade at the same relative point.

  You will probably be able to get a completely identical effect in Illustrator, because the text is quite complex.

  You can just make random polygonal selections and fill with a color of your liking. Make another form of poly, open the color Panel, choose a slightly different color (Bricket tone or darker) and fill again. Keep this up until you create the shapes you like.
