  946212, forget the AWR.  What you want to do is to collect statistics from Windows performance monitor to see what percentage of the CPU is used on average and maximum on each machine.  Sum of the values to have any idea how much cpu your new server will need.  You should probably do the same thing for IO.

  I just got this laptop borrowed a few weeks ago because my computer is dead.

  In the worst case it s really a hardware malfunction and I assume that this has something to do with the motherboard, but I think that this should be verified to an authorized service because they have professional tools to check it.

  I doubt it s something wrong with the HARD drive or the BIOS. To me, it looks like a serious hardware problem, but that s my personal opinion

  Don't lose sleep on it, you hardly notice the difference anyway.

  Before I forget, do not install any RAM with a voltage higher than 1.35v.
