How Pass "SYSDATE" through setting of process flow?

Hello

I set the setting of process flow of type 'DATE' to START the activity in process flow. When I specify a value of liter in 'YYYY-MM-DD' format it works fine but it is not, let me clarify "SYSDATE" as input. Is there a way I can spend "SYSDATE" instead of specifying a date?

Thank you.

Must use literal = false to use SYSDATE, which is the expression in words OWB. The OWF user must be a user OWB (in OWB 10 g 2 a target user) so that it runs properly.

  • How to add a procedure for a process flow, but PF continue immediately

    Hi all

In my process flow, I would like to be able to launch a procedure. However, I wish the process flow to continue immediately regardless of the status of the proceedings. I want the procedure that is called, and I want the process flow in order to continue its not regardless of the status of the proceedings. Is there a good / better way to do this?

The following method seems to work. But I don't know if it's the right / best way to do it:

Start-> forks > procedure-> one (must only launch) OR (method A and B card feed the RO)-map C (fill)-> END
    Plan B (must successfully complete)

In case the "schema" above is not clear I "FORK" which divides to call the procedure has as b. mapping Procedure A and B map go to a 'GOLD '. The gooes 'OR' la carte b. plan B goes to the 'END '.

Thanks in advance for your ideas and experiences.

    P.S. I'm on OWB 10.2.0.1

If you want a plan B to wait that the procedure is made

    proceed this way

  • The relay through time and Total flow control

    Hi all

I'm relatively new to Labview and have worked on a great program from lately, which uses a Module with my cDAQ-9178 OR relay SPST 9481 to open and close the 3 different solenoids. The program should open at a specific time and leave it open until a certain amount of flow is passed through them. I already finished the programming to record the total flow through the valves, and after many hours past the forums I found a way and changes in the code that turns on the relay based on the amount of time spent searching, however it turns on the relay and leave them on until the 'period' are filled then pass on the next round. I need to change this option further so that it lights when my "Cycle Start Time" is reached, turns off when reaching the set amount of flow for this cycle and then continues to wait until the next "Cycle Start Time" occurs.

I imagined a way to proceed would be; by eliminating where departures from the clock a new cycle each run and just have it constantly by comparing the time of "Initial start (run)" 'Start' time sequence (when I push the start sequence and actually start to opening the relay). Then change the "delay" to 'Cycle start time' and the (> =) function to a function (=). So now, it begins after the elapsed time is equal to the start time of Cycle. Certainly, this opens the questions, because currently, at the beginning of the cycle the command of the relay begins. So I need make my comparison outside the case 'Cycle' or move the control relay in the case of 'true/false '. However, then I run the question of how to get the software to change the case once he saw to stop the relay.

As you can see, I have about 1 million different things in my head that I played with. Advice or assistance to get me on the right track, or you know of examples would be great! My code is attached below, and I'll post a photo after this post about how I'm taking care to record the total flow. Thank you for your time and help!

    Hi M_Blaylock,

You mentioned that you are relatively new to LabVIEW. Are you familiar with some of the debugging tools?

    http://www.NI.com/getting-started/LabVIEW-Basics/debug

Turning on climax execution should allow you to see the data flow through your schema. Also, probing the wire just before the input case structure should allow you to see what data is actually trying this case selector. If you get unexpected data, you can probe the front steps to see source these unexpected data.

I hope this helps and good luck with your code!

  • process flow sequence (output of mapping)

I have a map where I use the operator sequence and creating a record in the target table, I need to pass this variable out of the mapping and as input to another mapping. I'm not able to go to the sequence of the mapping. How we can assign values to the mapping of the output variables but I do it it says cannot assign variables to the output parameters of the mapping, it is said.

parameter of input and output parameter mapping mapping are intended to be run before and after the stream of mapping and the cannopt accepts input from any part of the data stream.

Any ideas as to how this can be done.

A plug-in mapping can be called in a process flow.

    Thank you

    Hello

write a plsql function that executes returns seq_XXX.currval (or, to be on the safe side, select the value in your table).
Set this value to an output attribute.

And no, pluggable mappings can be simply included other mappings, there is no way to run them directly.

    Kind regards
    Carsten.

  • Using an OUT in a process flow parameter

I have a SUBPROC1 process flow that contains a PL/SQL procedure. This procedure generates an integer value. PL/SQL procedure output parameter is bound to a variable VAR1 process flow, so that the value can be used by other processes of sub and in conditions of transition in SUBPROC1.

So far so good. Now I also have the same value of the process flow to a process flow parent output so that it can later be used by other processes of void. I have created an OUT parameter PAR1 attached to Start1 of SUBPROC1 activity, but I can only bind the output parameter in PL/SQL to the variable VAR1 process flow or the parameterPAR1 of output, not both.

The only way I can think to do that is to change the signature of the PL/SQL procedure to generate the same value twice through two parameters, one that I can link to VAR1 and the other I can bind to PAR1, but that seems messy.

Is there a trick I'm missing here?

You can set the output processflow (from variable) with the Assign activity parameter

  • Enter the date of transformation in the process flow

    Hello

I have a transformation (stored procedure) in a process flow that requires that two input variables. If I execute this stored procedure directly from the database I would use:

    Start
    package_name. Procedure_name (to_date ('20100101', 'YYYYMMDD'), to_date ('20100102', 'YYYYMMDD'));
    end;
    /

The problem in the process flow, it's that I'm not able to give the input parameters for the transformation in the correct manner. The process flow is valid, but when I run the workflow process I get ORA-01830 and PRE-02241. What I have in the process flow is:

    START-> procedure_name--> END

    I also tried with:

    START-> ASSIGN--> procedure_name--> END

Someone would ask me how do I pass two input parameters for the transformation are the type of date (format: YYYYMMDD)?

    Thank you

Use of loop in the process flow and wait until it gets loaded into the desired table data

I use windows XP Home Edition. It takes awhile to start when I turn on the computer. How can I speed up this process?

    original title: slow start
    • Faster processor.
    • Fastest hard drive.
    • Faster or more RAM/memory.
    • Less things loading at startup.
    • Appropriate and the most recent hardware device drivers.

In XP, you can cleanup and optimize it in some way, by using the following tips:

    Search for malware:

Download, install, execute, update and perform analyses complete system with the two following applications:

Remove anything they find.  Reboot when necessary.  (You can uninstall one or both when finished.)

Search online with eSet Online Scanner.

The less you have to run all the time, most things you want to run will perform:

Use Autoruns to understand this all starts when your computer's / when you log in.  Look for whatever it is you do not know using Google (or ask here.)  You can hopefully figure out if there are things from when your computer does (or connect) you don't not need and then configure them (through their own built-in mechanisms is the preferred method) so they do not - start using your resources without reason.

You can download and use Process Explorer to see exactly what is taking your time processor/CPU and memory.  This can help you to identify applications that you might want to consider alternatives for and get rid of all together.

Do a house cleaning and the dust of this hard drive:

You can free up disk space (will also help get rid of the things that you do not use) through the following steps:

Windows XP should take between 4.5 and 9 GB * with * an Office suite, editing Photo software, alternative Internet browser (s), various Internet plugins and a host of other things installed.

If you are comfortable with the stability of your system, you can delete the uninstall of patches which has installed Windows XP...

You can disable hibernation if it is enabled and you do not...

When you Hibernate your computer, Windows saves the contents of the system memory in the hiberfil.sys file. As a result, the size of the hiberfil.sys file will always be equal to the amount of physical memory in your system. If you don't use the Hibernate feature and want to reclaim the space used by Windows for the hiberfil.sys file, perform the following steps:

-Start the Control Panel Power Options applet (go to start, settings, Control Panel, and then click Power Options).
-Select the Hibernate tab, uncheck "Activate the hibernation", and then click OK. Although you might think otherwise, selecting never under "Hibernate" option on the power management tab does not delete the hiberfil.sys file.
-Windows remove the "Hibernate" option on the power management tab and delete the hiberfil.sys file.

You can control the amount of space your system restore can use...

    1. Click Start, right click my computer and then click Properties.
    2. click on the System Restore tab.
    3. highlight one of your readers (or C: If you only) and click on the button "settings".
4 change the percentage of disk space you want to allow... I suggest moving the slider until you have about 1 GB (1024 MB or close to that...)
    5. click on OK. Then click OK again.

You can control the amount of space used may or may not temporary Internet files...

Empty the temporary Internet files and reduce the size, that it stores a size between 64 MB and 128 MB...

-Open a copy of Microsoft Internet Explorer.
    -Select TOOLS - Internet Options.
-On the general tab in the section 'Temporary Internet files', follow these steps:
-Click on 'Delete the Cookies' (click OK)
-Click on "Settings" and change the "amount of disk space to use: ' something between 64 MB and 128 MB. (There may be many more now.)
    -Click OK.
-Click on 'Delete files', then select "Delete all offline content" (the box), and then click OK. (If you had a LOT, it can take 2 to 10 minutes or more).
-Once it's done, click OK, close Internet Explorer, open Internet Explorer.

You can use an application that scans your system for the log files and temporary files and use it to get rid of those who:

    CCleaner (free!)

(just disk cleanup - do not play with the part of the registry for the moment)

    JDiskReport

If you want, come back and let us know a bit more information on your system - particularly the brand / model of the system, you have - and maybe someone here can guide you to the place s x of law to this end.  This isn't 100% necessary - but I'd be willing to bet that you would gain some performance and features in making this part.
