How passwords are stored in Discoverer?

I'm trying to find out how user passwords are stored in Discoverer. The discoverer of nicks to get them in the database, or is it an extra ID Oracle behind the scenes. If there is an extra Oracle ID, is there one per ID discoverer, or that a single total?

If my question is not clear, don't a know a good link to a document explaining how the discoverer user passwords are stored?

Thank you!

Oh and here is my info connect if it matters at all.

Hello

I'm trying to find out how user passwords are stored in Discoverer

they are not. the discoverer does not maintain the user or password.

the discoverer has 2 ways to connect to the DB, none of them are users created by "Scout":
1 using the database users, so that users and passwords are stored in the db (fnd_users)
2 apps, discoverer users using their oracle application (user, responsibility) connection string.
and here the oracle application keep users and responsibilities.
