  If a dynamic action of PL/SQL execution, you must send your list of page elements in the parameter "Elements of Page to submit.

  Here is the code that works to insert data into your table (the procedure is not even necessary).

  Assuming that you want to insert the values into the table, this is why you want to set values for the element,

  If this is the case, then no need to define values for the element to insert.

  Follow the steps below, it is one of the embodiment of your condition.

  Step 1: Put the code below in your classic report query

  assuming that the id is of type number and the name is of type varchar, that's why I am attaching the name to apostrophe, see line 3

  in an SQL query in the reports, you will be able to 'pass' as a single value in P1.
  If you want to pass multiple values:
  for ex 1,2,3,4
  You must use a "lexical reference.

  P1 must be declared as a parameter of character and must have an initial value. This initial value will use Report Builder when it analyzes the SQL query.

  This could be the problem if there is that data validation is there that does not back up the data on the page. Because for example I had this problem when my database column has been primary key while on the EO page it wasn't. & When I tried to record data EO was allowing me to record, but the database did not allow.   Let me first tell you that our code is activity masking errors (the cache instead of working on them).

  This means that you do not check the errors at all. You must at least print a log with the error message, you receive, if you get one!

  To solve your problem, you override the method prepareForDML() of the entity or entities in question. You can calculate and set the necessary attributes until they get engaged in the doDML(). Do not use doDML() because it is too late in the life cycle.

  'Emp_id' is one of the column in the Employee table and I want to attribute all the values of the Emp_id in all text_items of the B_Test in order, when you press a particular key.

  Here's what I wrote in the trigger

  If somewhere, I am able to return the items in my B_test block dynamically so I can simply use

  Guy! I found a solution for the same thing.

  We can use integrated a 'copy' to set the values of the element where currently is cursor system.

  The syntax will be

  Copy ((new_value): System.Cursor_Item);

  -where new_value is the variable that contains the data to be assigned.

  In addition, we can assign the values from the system cursor to any variable.

  The syntax will be '

  new_value: =: System.Cursor_Value;

  Can I set the values in the workbook as I can put it in java as putlocal.binder?

  Was resolved by running get_search_results service and get the ddocname of all the results, comparing with the ddocname of the selected JavaScript line and assign the respective value.

• How to give values for the colums WHO

  Hi all
  
  I use oracle apps R12
  
  I've created a customized and saved in apps.
  
  Now I'm giving these column values in my insert statement
  
  as these values (last_updated_by) ((fnd_profile.value('USER_ID));
  
  But it showing error that DNF cannot be used within sql.
  
  I tried to get the value in the variable and pass that variable to the column but same error shows

  Try
  insert into... (... last_updated_by) values (..., fnd_global.user_id)
