  I vi uses change registry to change a value in each iteration of the WHILE loop.  However, I do not want the value to be changed with each iteration.  There are some cases where I want the value in the registry at fixed offset to stay as other operations in the WHILE loop run during subsequent iterations of the WHILE, and then a little later, I want the value in the registry to shift to resume editing.

  For example, in the attached example code, a value of '2' is added at each iteration of the WHILE loop.  In addition, at each iteration the LOOPER value is multiplied by 10.  Suppose I want register offset to increment by 2 only if the ENTRY is greater than 1000, and the ENTRY is known to fluctuate above and below 1000.  When the Boolean INPUT value is TRUE, I want to register to offset to increment by 2, but, if it's FALSE, I want the other function in the while loop for execution, but I want the register shift to hold the last value and act on the last value when the Boolean value back to true.

  For example, if the Boolean value is true we'd see these values in the SPEEDS and the indicators LOOPER lever, respectively:

  2: 10

  4: 20

  6: 30

  8: 40... etc.

  If the Boolean value is true, false for 3 iterations and then returns true, I want TO see something like this...

  6: 30

  Is it possible to pause (and resume) the incrementing of the shift register, without interrupting the execution of other functions in the WHILE loop?  I tried with a structure of the case, but... couldn't find a way to put together it.

  You don't have all the razor tool. With the clip selected, press CTRL + K on the keyboard. That will insert an a point of editing (split the clip) where is the playhead.

  I do a parody of a fighter game scenario.  A character like Subzero and the other as Scorpion.  They are the same models, but we need to be colored differently.  They are composed of symbols such as the arms and legs to make a greater animation of characters in all.  There are several animations of them, kicked, punched, shaky shots, etc.  Now, I know that if I went and edited the colors, that all instances would change accordingly.  Duplicate symbol does not work because they share the same internal symbols.  Is there a method for breeding "deep"?  I go about it the wrong way?  A tint does not work, because essentially, I want to just change the color of some components.

  create two torsos or copy the vest and neck movieclips to each character of movieclip (instead of using a shirtless movieclip to each character).  If you do the later, each character can have a color different vest/neck.

• Publication of Captivate with animation inserted as a single file

  I hope someone can confirm if Captivate is or is not able to publish an animation swf inserted into the main swf of CP.
  
  Here's the situation, I publish a Captivate swf without borders file so that a single main swf file is generated. But there's a little swf animation inserted on a slide in the main Captivate movie that is published in a second swf file. Our client uses a very basic LMS called Brainshark, which is actually a PPT reader and will not accept a CP swf by slide. Therefore, the inserted in Captivate swf animation to be included in the main when CP swf file published.
  
  Anyone know if this is possible? Personally, I think it is not possible with Captivate 3 but hope to confirm if it one way or another.

  Hi Charlotte

  You must ask the Flash developer to produce animation in Flash 6. Flash 7 might work, but I would choose 6 to be on the safe side.

  Then when you file your Captivate, ensure you produce targeted Flash 7.

• How can I get my project to continue after inserting a swf animation?

  I use 6 Captivate and have inserted an animation of demo of the registered software (swf) on Slide 7.  The animation plays very well.  However, when it ends, I can't click to the next slide (slide 8).  Should what property settings I use?  I tried the Captivate Slide 7 file to continue, move on to slide 8, etc.  I also tried the same settings on the last slide in the demo of the software until I published as a swf and inserted as an animation in the Captivate file.  Any suggestions?

  The best advice I can give you do NOT nest Captivate SWF inside other Captivate SWF.  Frankly they are NOT designed to be used in this way and you will encounter a number of questions, if you don't know these limitations.

  If you want to include demos of software in a project file, you can always just copy the demo slides in the main project file.  This means that your software demos should be entered to the same size as the main project file.  THIS means that you have planned for this event from the beginning.

• Inserting a swf animation, you end up with extra frame

  Hi, I created a SWF in flash, only 1 frame length and inserted in Captivate.  When I click on the animation information, it shows 2 images now.  I think it's a problem because when I play the swf file from Captivate, on some computers the swf on my html page keeps looping and never the full charge. What is causing the extra frame?

  It seems that when I used the TLF (Text Layout Framework) in Flash and inserts this Captivate swf, an extra frame is created.  So, I stuck w / proven classic text.

• How to use DPS as Folio overlays when you export to SWF format?

  I create an interactive magazine in InDesign, it is decided that the magazine is exported to SWF format and downloaded on the website of our company for viewing by the public. I want things like blocks of text scrolling and slideshows. I knew InDesign had an update to include DPS features such as overlays in Folio, so I applied a superposition of slideshow and a floating frame, but none of them is not working after that I exported to SWF format. I always want to have slideshows and scrolling frames how can I have them again when you export to SWF format?

  Features DPS are only for DPS. SWF is about as dead as dead can be at this point.

  Here again, nothing has really changed. You have a few possibilities for a FMR to CP5 and CP5.5: select the 'red line' and check in the properties panel, you can split, cut, insert something. I am really puzzled, because a FMR is a video, captured at the speed you run and don't really know if it has never been possible to change the time, sorry.

You don't want to use last modification on the lead or contact because when an activity is connected is not trigger an update for lead or communicate with itself. When you change the fields of a lead or a contact made only its last modified date change.   StageWebView is an air 2.5, or the best class.  StageWebView not available for exe or swf embedded in html.

  A TitleWindow in a SkinnablePopUpContainer is a pop-up * in a ToolTip. I'm guessing that this is not what you were going. See http://help.adobe.com/en_US/flex/using/WS6c678f7b363d5da52e8f1ca1124a0430dcf-8000.html for usage of TitleWindow.

  If you want something skinnable and moves, just skin TitleWindow.

  If you want something that is skinnable and effects of opening and closing (but not moveArea integrated), use SkinnablePopUpContainer.

  If you want to combine the two, well, I'm not sure it would work the way you want it. Because you use a TitleWindow as a pop-up, he gets laid out as a presentation of the SkinnablePopUpContainer Panel. I guess you tried the code posted you, and it does not work?

  No, you can not do this. You cannot use CFML to built another CFML statement during execution.  All the CFML must be compiled before execution, so as you can probably see how what you are trying to light cannot possibly work.

  You must have the code to all present and correct at compile time, so it can be compiled, and then it can be run.

  So, something like this:

  Obviously this is just your example and your real need is different, but the important thing here is to understand the difference between compile time and runtime.
