How the comprehensibility of the tables gets reduced?

How comprehensibility of the tables gets reduced if Gets the size of the table and relational tree depth increases. How can I show that the size of the table and the depth of relatonal tree increase reduced the comprehensibility.

You started with a very vague and confusing issue. When asked for clarification, you didn't change the word 'table' to the 'schema '. The question is still vague and confused. When asked further clarification, you didn't repeat the same question.

Go back to the drawing board and rephrase the question.

We do not know what you mean by "understanding of the schema.
We do not know what you mean by 'reduction' of "understanding of the schema.
We do not know what you mean by "relational tree depth."
We do not know how the size of the table or the "relational tree depth" refers to "understanding of the schema.

    Hello

I don't understand how to use the undex OpenG table with a table entry 2D. I joined the contest help window, said that aid

"For 2D tables, connect the clues and indices 0 1 entries to specify the items you want.

So what does really mean? I wired the vi as requested and the vi always puts a 1 d table. So are the lines of entries in table two indexes and columns or what?

I am sure that you send in your line indices table and the table of the column indices and get out of your table 1 d of elements.

    (i.e. rank table [1,5,7] and table column [4,8,10] gives you a table 1 d elements (1,4), (5.8), (7.10))

  • value of selectOneChoice in the table gets reset to true visible table

    I have a table with 2 columns. 1 column a inputtext A and another selectOneChoice B.

Also, I have a selectOneChoice more C above this table. On the "X" value in the drop-down list selection, the table above becomes true visible.

But at the same time, the selectOneChoice B reset to a value of zero instead of having the value extracted from DB.

A inputtext has no effect. It displays the value extracted from DB.

If we say that the table are refreshing causing to reset selectOneChoice B. It is seems to be wrong. Below this table, I have 2 button to add and remove rows from the table.

Add / delete, table gets refereshed but selectOneChoice B loses its value.

Before the page loads, set the bean attribute which is used to visible.

  • How the table is written with the digital I/o card

Hi, sort again at the sight of lab but I'm looking at some old lab view code that has an array of integers 8 bits with 8 values inside that is connected to a DIO VI writing.  Is just a few questions, there a way to know if writing DIO VI is a view lab Vi or VI created by a user? Also the DIO is the NI PCI-6533, 32-bit card and there is the array of 8-bit integers has 8 elements inside it would be the the map first write the first 4 elements at the same time (first element of bits 0-7, bits 8 to 15 seconds, ect) and then the last 4 items in the table or would be writing DIO VI will have to run twice once for the first 4 values and, once again, for the last 4?

Bundle allows you to create your XY plots (X in the first element array, array of Y in the second) and then use table build to an array of clusters that contain your XY plots.

  • How to update the table with the number management

    Hello

I need as there is a loc_tab of the created table as below,

    CREATE TABLE loc_tab
    (
    Country_ID NUMBER,
    country_code VARCHAR2 (3),
    country_name VARCHAR2 (50).
    State_ID NUMBER,
    state_code VARCHAR2 (3),
    state_name VARCHAR2 (50).
    city_id NUMBER,
    city_code VARCHAR2 (3),
    city_name VARCHAR2 (50)
    );

    I inserted records like below,
    COUNTRY_ID     COUNTRY_CODE     COUNTRY_NAME     STATE_ID     STATE_CODE     STATE_NAME     CITY_ID     CITY_CODE     CITY_NAME

IND          INDIA                    TN          TAMIL NADU          CHN          CHENNAI
IND          INDIA                    TN          TAMIL NADU          TRI          TRICHY
IND          INDIA                    TN          TAMIL NADU          CMT          COIMBATORE
IND          INDIA                    TN          TAMIL NADU          MDU          MADURAI
IND          INDIA                    AP          ANDHRA PRADESH          HYD          HYDERABAD

AUS          AUSTRALIA               TAS          TASMANIA          BUR          BURNIE
Now, I wanted to update the table such that all ID columns are updated with running number.

Each ID columns should get incremented so that, for Country_ID column corresponding to "India" If country_id is 1, that there must be one for all the lines with the name as "India". Likewise for "Australia".

In the case of State, she also has the same logic with numbers repeated until the very name of the State comes.

For the city, it of course will hold separate ID only because the name of the city will not get duplicated.

This update must be done in the normal way using simple SQL such as no PLSQL don't like looping, etc... is involved.

Here are the contents of the table, and that's how the table should be updated,
    COUNTRY_ID     COUNTRY_CODE     COUNTRY_NAME     STATE_ID     STATE_CODE     STATE_NAME     CITY_ID     CITY_CODE     CITY_NAME

1          IND          INDIA          1          TN          TAMIL NADU     4     MDU          MADURAI

  • Prevent freezing when loading the data in the table of GUI

I am receiving messages via a TCP/IP connection.  Information of these messages are retrieved and displayed in a table, as they are received.  Number of messages is received over a short period of time, and a large amount of data is added to the table.  When this happens, the freezing of MISTLETOE and the user cannot press the Cancel button until all the data are inserted into the table.  How could I prevent this gel?

I studied this forum and I found a few tips, but they did not help.  I used SetCtrlAttribute instead of SetCtrlVal to update the table.  Using SetCtrlAttribute to enter the information in the table slightly reduces the gel as the table is redrawn only once all information is entered in the table.

Problem solved: I created and executed the TCP client in a separate UI thread

  • Questions on the tables of materialized views and MV newspaper

    Hi all

Have some questions about Materialized View.

    (1) once the materialized view reads the records from the table MLOG, reviews the MLOG get purged. fix? or is that not the case? In some cases, I see still (old) records in the MLOG table even after updating MV.

    (2) how the table MLOG distinguishes between a reading which comes from a MV and a reading that comes from a user? If I execute manually
"Select * < table MLOG > ' could get record of the table MLOG redacted all the same way as it does after a refresh of MV?

    (3) one of our MV updates crashes intermittently. Based on the events of waiting I noticed that it was a 'db file sequential read' against the main table. Finally I had to put an end to the update. I don't know why it was sequential reading on the main table when she should be reading the table MLOG. Any ideas?

    (4) I saw 'file db scattered read' (full table scan) usually on tables, but I was surprised to see 'db file sequential read' against the table. I thought sequential read occurs normally against the index. All the world has noticed this behavior?

    Thanks for your time.

    (1) once all the registered materialized views have read a particular line in a trunk of materialized view, it is removed, Yes. If there are multiple materialized views that are based on the same newspaper, they would all need to refresh before it would be safe to delete the log entry for MV. If one of the materialized views is no incremental updating, there may be cases where the log purge automatically.

    (2) No, your query does not cause anything be served (although you wouldn't see something interesting unless you get to implement a lot of code to analyze change vectors stored in the journal). I don't know the exact mechanism used by Oracle has been published, if you could go through and draw a session to get an idea of the moving parts. From a practical point of view, you just need to know that when you create an updatable materialized view fast, it will register as interested especially newspapers MV.

    (3) it depends on what is stored in the log of MV. The update process may need to recover specific table columns if your log stores just the fact that the data for a particular key changed. You can specify when you create a materialized view that you want to store specific columns or include the new clause values (with the NEW VALUES INCLUDING). It is perhaps beneficial (or necessary) for the refreshment quick process, but it would tend to increase the storage space for the materialized view log and increase the cost of the maintianing the materialized view log.

    (4) sequential reads on a table are perfectly normal - it just means that someone looking for a block of data in the table (i.e. looking a line in the table of ROWID based on the ROWID in an index or a materialized view log).

  • I can't understand the reasoning behind the tables to ID CS5. Can you help me?

I can make tables ID CS5 works, but I do not understand how they work. I should mention that I am a heavy user of FrameMaker, so I'm sure I have some faulty assumptions.

In FrameMaker, I'm used to the use of the table styles to automate the formatting of the table. All the table set in the form of information - for example, styles of text for titles table, headers, and body; rules; intercellular. etc. - is built in the style of table and applied with a single click. The text style information drawn from pre-existing paragraph styles that are associated with the table style. All very simple. But in InDesign, things seem much more complicated.

InDesign a of table and Cell Styles. I'm not clear on the relationship between the two. You can specify to power and styles of shading in both. I don't understand this.

I got more predictable results, with cell Styles, so I took most of my formatting information. But Cell Styles are not autonomous entities. Even if you create them, then add them to the Style Table, they must be associated with a pre-existing paragraph style. This looks like a duplication of efforts - two distinct styles (cell and paragraph) apply the same text formatting information. The cell Style includes power and info of the shading, but that shouldn't be necessary since that information can theoretically be entered in the Style of the Table.

In addition, Cell Styles using limits you to the style of a paragraph per cell. In some cases, I need two - data or text, followed by a few chips. When this happens, that I had to remove the cell Style and directly apply a paragraph style. Looks funky.

I don't want to get too deep into the weeds with specific puzzles I encountered; It is sufficient to say that I do not understand how the table and Cell Styles interact and how best to use them to create and format tables efficiently. Does anyone of you understand the reasoning behind the ID tables? Can you provide a source that explains it? There must be a system, a set of operating principles that are consistent, but I was not able to discern them.

    Sincere thanks,

    -Donna Reynolds

    Hi, Donna.

I don't know a good reference for how table styles fit together, but I think that your problems would be solved more easily if you gave a specific example of what was confusing you.

It is true that there is overlap between the table and cell styles. This is because they are modeled on the Table Options and Options of the cell, and there is an overlap. For example, the shot of the table and the outer race of the external cells are the same things.

Most of the time, you can avoid this confusion - in the Style of your Table, do not define anything except for where you need to replace your cell style information, such as the outside of the table. You cannot set the padding on a style to a table in the table, because you cannot set the padding in the Table Options. Except for the stuff that relates to the entire table, such as the alternation of the contours of row/column.

So set your fillings in cell styles and use this style in the Style of the Table.

In your cell styles, do not specify a paragraph style. Use (ignore). It is important that a cell should dictate a particular paragraph style, then use it. But it's probably him better not reach otherwise.

Is it that help at all?

I guess the problem is that the trigger part that you put on the table gets called before validating the data in the code of the bean.
Try adding a partial trigger in the bean code that refreshes the table.
Put an ID to your table (or link the table to the bean), then use the code below to trigger an update after the transaction commit or rollback.

               UIComponent ui = JSFUtils.findComponentInRoot("tableid");
               RequestContext.getCurrentInstance().addPartialTarget(ui);

Here is the code for the findCommponentInRoot method:

  • Column of type BLOB in own tablespace in partition in the table, tablespace to move

    Hi all

First off I use Oracle Database 11.2.0.2 on AIX 5.3.

We have a table is partitioned on a monthly basis.

In this table, there is a partition (BOTTOM), this lower score is 1.5 TB in size thanks to a BLOB column called (ATTACHMENT).

The rest of the table is not large, about 30 GB, it's the BLOB column that uses all the space.

The lower part is in its own default tablespace (DefaultTablespace), the BLOB column in the lower score is also in its own tablespace (TABLESPACE_LOB) - 1.5 to

I was invited in order to free up space by moving the TABELSPACE_LOB (from the low partition) to a data archive, confirming the data is there and then remove the lower score of the production.

I do not have enough free space (or time) make an expdp, I think not only its doable with data so much.

    CREATE TABLE tablename
    (
      xx                          VARCHAR2(14 BYTE),
      xx                          NUMBER(8),
      xx         NUMBER,
      ATTACHMENT   BLOB,
      xx             DATE,
      xx             VARCHAR2(100 BYTE),
      xx                     INTEGER,
    )
    LOB (ATTACHMENT) STORE AS (
      TABLESPACE  DefaultTablespace
      ENABLE      STORAGE IN ROW
    NOCOMPRESS
    TABLESPACE DefaultTablespace
    RESULT_CACHE (MODE DEFAULT)

    PARTITION BY RANGE (xx)
    (
PARTITION LOWER VALUES LESS THAN ('xx')
        LOGGING
        COMPRESS BASIC
        TABLESPACE DefaultTablespace
        LOB (ATTACHMENT) STORE AS (
          TABLESPACE  TABLESPACE_LOB
          ENABLE      STORAGE IN ROW
    )

    ...>>

My idea was to take a table, excluding the attachment column datapump, export using external tables.

Then to create the table on the database archive 'with' the attachment column.

Import data only, as I understand that if you use a dump file that has too many columns Oracle he will manage, I hope it will work the other way around.

Then on the production, make the TABLESPACE_LOB read-only and move it to the new file system.

It's a little more complicated that a normal gesture of tablespace because of how the table is split.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

I was thinking about an approach as:

SWAP PARTITION allows to separate the partition of the table

    • Create a non-partitioned table which is otherwise identical in structure to tablename (nonpart_tablename)
    • ALTER TABLE TableName LOWER WITH nonpart_tablename SWAP PARTITION

Move the segment of the table at TABLESPACE_LOB, or to a different tablespace on its own. It is, as you say, only 30 GB and I think (but not strongly enough to go forward without testing/validation on a smaller scale) that the displacement of the segment of the table in this way does not disrupt the LOB segment, as long as you don't say MOVE LOB.

    • ALTER TABLE nonpart_tablename MOVE TABLESPACE TABLESPACE_LOB

Now the TABLESPACE_LOB tablespace is self-contained and you can make it transportable.

  • Small product problems page format of the table with the unused sections

    Hi all

I hope someone can help me identify what it is that I have trouble with my small product catalog pages. I have this problem where I have unused sections or blanks where normally the images/Details of the product would be. I think it can come from my product titles that use more than two lines of characters with these products that I have for sale where the price is bordered by the intermediary with a new price below (extra row of text) where the product is more space than the standard height. It seems to be pushing other products more far more/down to another column/row. I don't know it's somelthing I'm wrong with how the table is set up for the management of the height of each box of product dynamically, but I'm new to this so not sure what you need to fix in the code.

Here is a link to a page problem showing the problem:

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you

    Hi Kennedy,

Believe that it is caused by your products from the list in varying heights.

Have you tried to add a "height: 400px; ' your '.produits-grid li .productSmall?

  • How to index color property table 1 d cluster of 2 elements

I am trying to find a way to index a table of color properties so that I can selectively turn on each of the 15 LEDS on my front. I can get the whole group in the light of the specific colors and disable one of the lighting by pressing the LED, but I can't understand how the table to control an individual LED to the index. My attempts to get a function array index with an error that the source is a cluster of 2 elements and the sink is a table 1 d of cluster of 2 elements.

Try this. I put a delay in there, so you can change the value of the enum inbetween loop interactions. This will result in different positions get different colors. For the 15 simply to feed a table of colors that indicate the status of each post. Put this outside the loop and the use of the size of the array get to control how many times the loop is running. Add each post in the right place in the structure of the case.

    I hope this helps!
