  Yes.  With the Finder, drag the clip fixed everywhere where it is saved until it is placed on the old item in project.  When a green plus sign appears next to the cursor let go of the mouse button and you will get a menu.  Click "replace".  The duration and all connected titles, glitches or audio should not be affected.

  If I have a very fast NAS and the network, I found that to effectively edit a project, I want my project, and active at least an external FW 800 (same drive letter of the operating system on each computer) and an eSATA would be even better.

  I do all the time and my transportation projects between my laptop by the pool and work stations in the editing room.

  I've set up each project, with all assets (or Copies, as most of my goods are stored on the NAS), in a hierarchy of files for this project. With the drive letter set the same on every machine I migrate seamlessly and with zero problems. Mega-projects, with 1, in thousands of dollars in assets, loading quickly - unlike when working on the network, or of the SIN.

  But with a little planning, you should have zero problem.

  When you open a new project elements (no matter what the settings are) the first thing we do is drag a clip to SD 4:3 in the timeline, forcing the project to the 4:3 value.

  After you have created and saved a project I restarted my Mac. Then, after a restart I could not open the projector-elements:

  Looks like an incompatibility between the clamps and the sequence settings, for example to put a clip HD 1080 in a sequence of NTSC DV (SD) or vice versa.

  You can drag a clip on a new element (next to the trash) icon in the project window, and this will create a new sequence to match the clip. If you later add clips for this sequence that do not match, you can click on the right (Mac may be different) and select "scale to fit".

  If I say YES, then the video plays but plays fuzzy.

Sometimes I find mistakes on my part in PrP of edition or even menu creation segments that I wish I had noticed before burning an expensive BD - DL disc. This brings me to my question: is it possible to play the contents of a project to a folder as if it were a finalized DVD (blu - ray dvd in my case) of the computer disc? If this is possible, then how? This will help me to get an overview of my project before burning discs. The option Preview in Encore is nice but has its limits.

• PSE8 Mac - how to get iPhoto directly in the project Bin files.

  I put iPhoto in place so that when I double click on an item, it opens in PSE8.  The problem is that he appears not only in the sandbox of project it is also on the workspace.  I can't understand how to remove the workspace and simply to the location of the project.  I want to use it for scrapbooking, so it would be unusual for me to have six different images, most other elements of scrapbooking, between what I would need to use and back.

  Click the arrow to the right of the label "project Bin Actions." I have highlighted below with a red arrow.  Select the option 'create '.  You then will be that a single image in the work area - which is exactly what you want.

  Additional pictures will be hidden, but will remain in the project bin.  You can see in the second picture below.

  To move a picture to the image, just click on the image you want in the location of the project.  Elements will switch to the new image and relegate the old photo on the site of the project.

  Note none of the photo changes will be recorded on your hard drive until you say things to do.  Know so that you can spend 20 minutes a picture setting, it rebasculer swinging back to the location of the project, begins to work on another image - and have things crash.  All of your edits on images then will be lost, because no photos updated have been recorded to your hard drive.

  I'm paranoid, so I save each picture before I started working on a second photo.

  This happens usually when the import process was not completed. If you have the original camera card - or a copy of the computer of the map - you can probably use the re-import command (on the file menu) to fix things. In addition, it is possible that the original media is imported, but this transcoding was not. If you have chosen to optimise upon import, try to select clips in the browser and transcoding to optimized.
