How to compile a cobol file

Hello
Intools 8.44, under Windows, I want to compile a cobol file.
I found this:
set PS_HOME=c:\pshome\hcmxx
set PATH=%ps_home%\src\cbl\win32;%path%
set COBROOT="c:\program files\micro focus\net express\base"
cd %PS_HOME%\setup
cblbld c: \temp\compile
But how can I do to compile a cobol?

Thank you

For Microsoft Windows, there is another file of commands called cblmake.bat, who lives under % PS_HOME%\src\cbl\win32. Add this location to your PATH environment variable, you can call the command of any you want. Because there are so many dependencies, I copy everything under %PS_HOME%\src\cbl\base in a directory such as C:\Temp temp, then run the following command to compile a single COBOL:

C:\Temp>cblmake.bat PTPNTEST

(Note that you drop the extension .cbl).

If you run cblmake.bat with no parameters, it will display all the compilation options.

Once compiled, copy the INT/GNT/EXE suitable for your %PS_HOME%\CBLBIN <%Type%> Directory.

There is more information available on the PeopleSoft Wiki too: http://www.peoplesoftwiki.com/compiling-cobol-locally

  • How to recompile the COBOL files?

    Hi all

Can anyone provide some documentation to see how to recompile the COBOL files using Net Express 5.1 in the command prompt?

    Thanks in advance.

    Thank you and best regards,
    Siva Prasad B

    1. set up two environment variables, PS_HOME and COBROOT, on the computer where you are going to compile COBOL. (This should be your file server or a machine that has access to your file server.) You can do this from a DOS command prompt window.

    Set PS_HOME = C:\hr840
    Set COBROOT = c:\netexpress\base

    2. open a DOS commands prompt window, if you have not already, orders and access
    \Setup.

    3. run CBLBLD. BAT as follows
    cblbld
where is the drive where the compilation takes place, is the temp
Directory where the compilation is done

The CBLBLD. BAT file will create the directory to compile for you, if it does not already exist.

Novel make sure to include a space between the and parameters; they are treated as two different settings within the CBLBLD. Bat batch program. Also to ensure that you have permission write to and that the compilation process will take place there.

For example, the following command will have the COBOL source of \src\cbl and the compilation process under c:\temp\compile:
    cblbld c: \temp\compile
Take note of the information that appears on the screen during the process is running. It provides the location of important files that you need to consider.

    Hey torres.

Just do a search for .setImage (" and replace by .setImage (" images / just like that with this one quote. ")") and it should be replaced without problem! Good luck!

  • How to compile and install the kernel modules after nation and nipalk for installation of Gentoo 64 bit?

We are trying to install a PCIe 6251 DAQ card in a box of Gentoo 64 bit running Linux kernel 2.6.28 - gentoo-r5 4.3.2 - gcc and glibc - 2.8.  We have installed RPM utilities to manage the installation.  The current problem is that we are not able to compile and install the kernel modules: nidmxfk, nimsdrk, nimstsk and nipxirmk.  Here's a summary of what we have done so far, and to what extent we got.

First of all, we have changed the configuration of the kernel that we could export the init_mm unused symbol by changing the configuration option of the CONFIG_UNUSED_SYMBOLS = o kernel and recompile the kernel.  Then we installed LabView 8.6.1.  Then we ran the nation 1.9 installer who has installed the source code in vain on the compilation.  To resolve this problem, we have changed the function of pte_offset to pte_offset_kernel by editing the file/usr/local/natinst/nation/configures following the instructions here:

    http://decibel.NI.com/content/docs/doc-4511

We were then able to compile and install the kernel nation module thanks to:

    . / configure
    do
    make install

lsmod said that nation has been properly installed.  Then we ran the installer for DAQmx 8.0.1 by:

    . / INSTALL - nodeps

To do this, we have received errors indicating that LabView support could not be installed because check addictive (incorrectly we think) stated that labviewbase86 has not been installed; This caused the installer to have an abortion.  Therefore, we refused to install support for LabView 8.6 and revived the installation program which produces the output:

    After Installation...

At this point, after reading this report, we used the Gentoo rc update utility to add several scripts for the boot runlevel initialisation:

update of RC - a boot nipple
update of RC - a bunch of nipxirmu
update of RC - a bunch of mxssvr
update of RC - a bunch of nisvcloc
update of RC - a bunch of nidevldu

When the computer reboots, you get an error message indicating that the following kernel modules are not: nidmxfk, nimsdrk, nimstsk and nipxirmk.  lsmod shows that the nation and nipalk are installed, but no other kernel modules NOR are present.  modprobe-l shows that only nation and nipalk are available.

    So we have several questions:

    1. we install drivers in the correct order?  Should use us NI-VISA 4.5 or NOR-488. 2 rather than DAQmx 8.0.1?

    2. What kernel modules should be loaded for this equipment run?  How to compile and install the ones that we have yet, specifically nidmxfk, nimsdrk, nimstsk and nipxirmk?  Are there others?

    3. How can we get the installer to properly recognize that we have installed LabView Core and install support for LabView?  Are there additional kernel modules related to the support of LabView?

    4. What is the symbolic link that was not created in the DAQmx installation report? (ln: create the symbolic link ' / usr/local/include/NIDAQmx.h': no such file or directory)?

I apologize for so many questions, but these seem to be the last obstacles to obtaining OR runs correctly on this system.  Is there other information that we can provide that would be useful?  Thanks for any help or suggestions you can offer.

    Craig

    Hey Craig,.

Given that you use 64-bit Linux all kernel modules must be compiled for 64 - bit.  User mode binaries can be 32-bit, assuming that you have installed the 32-bit support libraries.

NOR-DAQmx is a complex architecture and requires several kernel modules to support your PCIe card.  Most of these kernel modules have not been brought to support 64-bit Linux.  Some kernel modules are components infrustructure that are shared with other pilots OR as NI-VISA and NOR-488. 2 and have been brought to support 64-bit Linux.  Unfortunately, you need all the modules to use your hardware.

I hope that answers your question.

  • How to decompile the *.cod file

    Hello!

It might look like you a stupid question or kind of odd or even exceptional.

But the lack of time available to us, I hope that one of you might be able to point me in the right direction.

However, ist the problem/question I face in fact:

We have a few files *.cod which one of our developers has written and compiled in cod-files.

Now, it is not available for all of us and we need to modufy these files - it you just change the hardcoded IP addresses.

We do not find the binaries, because none of us have access to its local workstation.

Is there a way to decompile the *.cod file and so, HOW do I doi it?

Cod files are for the 8110 and the BB Storm!

I hope you mind or will not be bothered to help me!

Best regards and many thanks in advance

    ciphercore

Unfortunately you're practically no chance, the only 'real' decompilers for * .cod are flaky and when they work they spit of bytecode, not Java just so to change an address IP will be more than one test then you might think depending on the size of the application.

In other words, you want to either try hard to find the person or his computer because otherwise a complete rewrite may be a better idea.

  • Simple question: how to export a SWF file?

Hi, I am quite new to Flex and Flash Builder (having more than ten years of Flash experience tho), I'm on a fast track to learning, and I'm generally unclear as to how to use FB to post projects (in Flash, it's very simple).

I'm working on my first FB project for a client, and the situation is somewhat unique: I created a new project, however, it is not necessary for the MXML file in this situation, because we have an application server that uses just the product SWF in a Flex remote setting much larger side.  So when I do updates in the local project, I want to just export a new SWF to compile ActionScript class files I created and then upload the SWF file to the remote server for the test.

Yet, when I try just to launch the project locally (to export a new SWF file), I get errors that I assume are due to inappropriate use of the MXML file (which is usually empty), and it is not relevant the rest ActionScript files (and I did not need to be).

I have examples of other related projects that have no file MXML at all, when I tried to remove the MXML file, I get an error that says simply: "the file cannot be launched.  And in fact, when I moved the file MXML back, I now get the same error.  It's really hard to know what is happening here.

I thought about primary control AS file in the Application 'default', but the menu for that option is not allowing me to (grayed out).

Can someone help me understand what to do here?

When project-> build automatically is enabled, whenever you make a change to a file that is used by your main Application AS file somehow, the output SWF will be built in the bin-debug folder.

When project you-> export of output, a quality version of the SWF file will be generated in the bin-release folder.

  • to compile multiple indesign files

    Hello

    I need some information.

How to compile more individual indesign files into one file?

I added the documents in a new book file but impossible to compile them into a single indesign file.

    Nothing automatic.

However, you can move pages of one InDesign file to another.

You don't mention what version of InDesign, you're using.

CS4, open your source and your documents of desitination.

With your open source document, go to the side of the page, select move Pages in the Panel menu and set ranging from the page to move, whiich document, and what place in the order of the pages.

You can do this with master pages as well. If your documents use the Master pages of the same name, but have different content, it would be in your best interest to rename them before moving the pages. Otherwise, be prepared to make changes after you add pages.

    Hello

    -lsql10

Which specifies the library to version 10, but it seems that you have your first assignment 8.1.7.

You will need to look in your lib directory and see what we call the file in 8.1.7 - it's been too long and I don't remember the exact name.
