How to crop to a specific size

Hello world. This will sound like a very basic question, but I need a clear method on how to crop to get a specific size in Acrobat DC. I am a printer and from time to time I get clients who send me PDFs of card made from templates word or publisher. Unfortunately, I need these cards one place to send to my tax software and the customer is almost never the original file. My only option is to pan a map and send that. What I need to know is there a way, like in Photoshop, where I can set the dimensions of culture to a specific size rather then just estimate? Have that a box set of cultures to the standard business card size would really help me to know where to begin these cards and end and keep only their properly dimensioned. Im sure it is something relatively simple, but I was not able to find good info on this subject. Any help would be appreciated.

If you select the crop tool and double click on a page, it will bring up the dialog box to set boxes of Page that allows you to set the top, bottom, values of the harvests of left and right, so with a little math, you can set a specific width and a height.

  • Cropping to a specific size in CC as in CS6

How can I get all my Raw photos at 18 by 12 as I currently do in CS6?  I have a trial version of Photoshop CC and even if all the options tool bar are defined as in CS6, I can't crop automatically to 18 x 12.

It seems I have to got to the size of the image each time.

Just to the left of the first text box in the tool bar top is a drop-down box of dialogue, is by default should be set to the ratio. Click on it and set it to W x H x resolution. You can then type in 18 x 12 x dpi value of choice or empty.

  • How to resize images to a specific size of lot? (URGENT!)

I do not know how to batch resize photos using adobe bridge and then Tools > photoshop > image... processor and resize, but what I want to know is how to resize images to a size specific width and height of the lot without having to keep proportion.

For now, I have a bunch of photos that are 2896 x 1944 pixels, but I need to resize up to 1920 x 1080 for a sequence of stop motion. But photoshop wants to keep in proportion and resizes 1608 x 1080, which is not what I want but I don't want to make them one at a time. so please help

    THX

But photoshop wants to keep in proportion and resizes 1608 x 1080, which is not what I want but I don't want to make them one at a time. so please help

You can do this by registering your own action in Photoshop (in the action panel) and use the image size command while unchecking the option to constrain the proportions. Then, you can fill in the size in pixels and include a save as command to close a document and a new location. Then select files in Bridge and via tools / Photoshop /Batch perform this action.

However, if you do not change the proportions of your original photos will appear very tense because you change the proportions, I'm not sure that's what you want.

You could also record an action to trim the originals of this size, leaving the look of the original image, only less at low, high or both. In doing so, all files are cropped to the same location that you saved the harvest on the first file.

  • How to create an action to crop to a specific image format?

I have images of different sizes that I need to all be cropped to a specific aspect ratio in the center of the image and stretching on the side or at the top and bottom edges according to the use of the maximum portion of the image.  To do this, how do you define an action.

If I had to do it by hand, I would use the rectangle selection rectangle, change to report fixed and drag from one side to the other.  They move the selection towards the Center (the best I could).  Then do Image < harvest?

But I need to automate this process and have the placed exactly in the Center.  Is it possible to automate in action?  If so, how?

FYI, I have CS5 (and CS6).  I'm comfortable with the image processor.  So as long as I have a put action in place, I can process all my images using the image processor.

I also have lightroom 4 If there is a way to do it.

Yes, I wrote AspectRatioSelection to take the orientation of the document into account use of ratio you set facing the direction of the documents.  So easy to save an action with landscapes and Portraits of cultures for a 4 X 6 paper. You will notice that the dialog box has two fields of numbers not a width and height fields no orientation is implicit. His companion LongSidePrintLength.jsx let him, you set the correct printing resolution after the harvest of the report l / h.

I have create a plugin where you can specify an absolute format that he too had an orient option to work like AspectRatioSelection.  So with that plugin would be able to crop a landscape to portrait and portrait to landscape. Hover the compositional changes of image, so when you do often, you can't get an acceptable composition.  The dialog box has also become difficult to describe for me.  I better program then I in English.  The box width and height meaningless East and not absolute proportions and was not easy to explain. What is the air.

    Thanks for these scripts!

I noticed one (for me) issue with AspectRatioSelection however: even if I put the report l / h at 6:4 he decided to crop images 4:6.

He works with images that are portrait, but those who are more square are cut in 4:6.

I'm not your more square thing.  If you have two documents one 4 x 6 and 6 x 4 which is more square?

How it works biased on you the guidance documents. If your document is larger then top this landscape so it more big wide it a Portrait. If we place the default plugin this landscape.

So it makes no difference if you set 4 and 6 or 6 and 4 or 3 and 2 or 2 and 3

Landscape and square paper will see landscape with a selection or path or 3:2 aspect ratio selection is rectangle or oval

Documents of portraits will be able to see a selection of Portrait with a 2:3 aspect ratio selection or a path it is rectangle or oval

  • Fundamental question: how to rasterize a part of the picture at a specific size?

How can you rasterize a part of an image in a specific size / resolution - say, 1080 x 1920 @ 300 dpi?

Illustrator does simply not like that. If your goal is a specific pixel dimension, then you must go to 72 dpi.

You must calculate the dimensions in pixels compared to this. But then you might find yourself with dimensions that are not whole pixels.

How to crop the size of a PDF?

    Hey sjt1g15,

This can be done using Adobe Reader.

If you have the Adobe Acrobat software, you can do the same thing.

Don't forget, you can crop the pages of a PDF document and not size.

Reference: Acrobat Help. Crop pages PDF

Or, if you want to reduce the size of the file, then choose "file > save as other > reduced size Pdf/optimisee PDF.

    Hope it will be useful.

    Kind regards

How can I write a script in a table to a specific size?

    Matt

If you want to exactly hit the mark 5 MB or do you not care as long as you exceed 5MB?

If all you want to do is more than 5MB create a table in the desired table space:

CREATE TABLE big (id number, filler varchar2(1024))
    TABLESPACE your_table_space
    STORAGE (INITIAL 4M NEXT 1M);

Then insert a bunch of folders:

    insert into big (select level, rpad('x', 1024, 'x') from dual connect by level <= 5*1024);

    That should do it.

For example, to perform an analysis of the imaging system, it is important that the pixel data not be altered and that the pixel data be exactly comparable.  Sometimes this means that the image samples must be of a particular size.  If they are made of the same size by using the export module LR the original data are resampled, a destructive process.

As suggested by Berntsen , you can use the Crop Overlay tool by entering the pixel dimensions desired in the option "Enter" custom  Unfortunately it only uses precision of two decimal places , which is probably not accurate enough for your application.

Photoshop crop tool to enter the dimensions of culture in pixels, which is what you need. Select Style > 'Fixed size' and enter the specific dimensions of culture, you can as shown in the example below for 5000 x 3744. You will still need to center the crop on the image manually, but it will retain the exact dimensions in pixels. You can also use a PS Action for batch processing of multiple images.

    Thank you for your support!

This bug should be fixed in the 4.5 SDK. Please use the latest version of the SDK.

My environment is FlashBuilder 4.5 premium and its SDK 4.5 default value. Everything goes well on my machine.

    Thank you

The Firefox Page Zoom feature makes a domain level by area to save favorite settings level users zoom, there is no default Page Zoom level setting in Firefox, as with some other browsers.

Try the extension Default FullZoom Level:

    Or the NoSquint extension:

  • What happened to the bar that says 'file, edit' etc.? How can I change the font size to display Hotmail? Where can I access 'Cancel '? Thank you-

How can I access the toolbar which includes "file, print" etc.? How can I change the font size of my hotmail home page? It used to be using "display".

In Firefox 3.6 and later Windows, you can hide the menu bar on "view > toolbars" or via the contextual right click menu on a toolbar.
Press F10 or press and hold the Alt key to bring up the menu bar temporarily.
Go to "view > toolbars", right click on the menu bar, or press Alt + V T to select to show or hide toolbars (click on an entry to switch from the State).
