  I just found out that the values listed for maskModes have changed between CC14 and CC15 who broke most of my scripts of masking.

  IE MaskMode.ADD in CC14 has the value 6413 but CC15 is 6813.

  To get the string maskMode by the current mask, you can loop through all the values possible maskmodes and stop when you click on:

• After Effects CS6: Opinions on how to proceed with the change of resolution in a project

  I recently finished a project that I've been very proud of. The only problem was that I did all this in the bad resolution . I already found how to solve this problem so that this won't happen again, but the tricky part is to know how to convert my project as a whole in a higher resolution.

  My project consists of seven different compositions, rolled in a composition of master. Everything works fine except the resolution problem. I ended up changing each composition in my desired resolution, but then I resize issues with text, photos, effects, drawn in the 3d Department... more all effects are calibrated is no longer properly (an example would be initially on moved text and off-screen but covers only a short distance after the change of resolution).

  I've already reviewed all over again. I'm ok with this because it'll take me only a few days to duplicate everything. It may even be easier. However, if someone has an idea I would like to give it a shot. This would be an opportunity learning great anyway.

  To clarify, my initial project was made in the wrong resolution (720 x 480). (1920 x 1080) resolution change is fairly easy, but everything needs resizing and remade. Y at - it an easier way to convert a composition with all its effects, items, settings, etc. in another composition of a resolution more high without having to start over?   You are probably best to do it again.

  720 x 480 is not only a much lower resolution, it is a format of 4 x 3.  1920 x 1080 is not HD, but also a 16: 9 aspect ratio screen.  It is wider.  You'd end up to take full advantage of the larger screen, reposition the graphics in your computer in any case.

  Consider it a lesson learned by checking the parameters of your computer until you start working seriously.

  There is a script that comes with newer versions of AE which will scale to the top of your comps if you choose to use it.  I've never had to use, so I forgot his name.  But it will not automatically forward to take advantage of the wide screen aspect ratio.

  Try to use UTL_FILE. PUT (Data), followed by a UTL_FILE. PUT (CHR (13): 10;)

  It is easier.  You can disconnect before wiping your pc, but you don't need to.  with cc, you can even log out of the old 'dead' computers using a new computer.

  No, your plugin does not access to the command line.  Look for other methods of IAC (COM, DDE, memory shared, shared files, etc.).

When he installed Abobe AIR opened and did the installation.  To see if this can help, I uninstalled the holiday card and rebooted the computer a couple of times. No dice.

  I have the same problem on several machines. What seems to be the case is first is losing track hence basic audio filters are on the system. The only solution that works for me is uninstalling first, then put it back. I found myself to do this every day or almost.

  My bad, I forgot the LKM DBLINK also creates an object in the area of transit on the source.
  You have 2 options:
  -use a different LKM as SQL for Oracle that does not use DBLINK.
  -Add the privilege to create on the staging area from source to your source database user.

• Dealing with the size of the stage and the different orientations

  I am clearly dense, but I'm looking for examples of how others deal with the need to have apps that funciton in mode landscape or portrait.

  My first effort simply uses a scene from 600 x 600 with automatically guide the true value. It seems to work OK. The app draws, in the center of the screen of the Playbook (Simulator), regardless of the way the screen is oriented. Waste certain properties of the screen, but for my purposes, it doesn't really matter.

  To try to make it easier to deal with some questions I had try to implement new, I tried to make a step in 1024 x 600 with my stuff centered in space. Works very well in the landscape, but when in portrait mode, the app has been reduced to 1024 to the 600 dimension tree. I turned on Noscale for the scene, and now the app is drawn with the scene at the upper left corner then the app is cut on the right side of the screen. Is there a way to make the center of the scene?

  For my next one, I'll probably need to have two settings screen which are used based on direction - guidance on which is easier to deal with?

  I just wanted to mention that I removed the rotation and repositioning of the scene in the event onOrientationChange because I'm sure it was bad and can't remember why I had done this.

  Also, I recommend the mobile controls around on stage resize because when changing the orientation event is called, stage.stageWidth and stage.stageHeight properties have not yet been updated.
