How to disable Google safe browsing

There is a red window appearing saying that some sites are sites of "attack", and it's super annoying. Apparently this is another Google called "safe browsing" brainiac plans I don't want that, it does not block some of my favorite sites, but I can't seem to get rid of it. How to disable/remove/delete the thing beeps?

Google safe browsing has been a part of Firefox for a long time to protect users against known phishing and malware sites. It is not part of the recent change in Google's policy that many users are misunderstanding; the new Google policy change affects only Google products and services in which users must login or sign in (i.e., you, the user, have created an account for this service).

You can turn off warnings at your own risk:

  • Firefox button > Options > Options (or tools > Options) > security, uncheck both "Block reported attack sites" and "block reported false web.

    Try Ctrl + F5 refresh when on a problem page. Also try to navigate the site in Safe Mode and if the problem persists, do a Ctrl + F5 refresh.

    I am one of the many people who use an addon for Firefox called "Leechblock" to help fight against the tendency to waste time online by visiting sites are time consuming, or in my case - visiting pornographic sites.     Disable Safe Mode, this isn't a very effective method to prevent disabling the content filtering (I assume you are using an extension?). Try using a based operating system content filter if you need it, there are so many ways to pass an extension filter as you can not stop all.
