  Open Acrobat Reader DC, navigate to the Edit-> Preferences-> General-> uncheck "Open Documents in the new tab in the same window.

  Now, reboot your system, when you open multiple PDFs that all will open in a new window so that you can easily compare.

  In Edit > preferences > general control, to enable floating windows

  Then open the two files so that they appear side-by-side in the working area ("2 - up")

  Try to drag the appropriate layer in the layers palette.

  If this does not work, try to copy and paste

  To A, select > all, Edit > copy to the Clipboard

  Open B, Edition > paste

  I have a page with a number of related multi-layer PSD. These files PSD is still alive, with adjustment layers being added, being shifted and layers organized in folders, etc. Is there a way to link to these updates of PSD files without losing the visibility of the layer chosen in INDN perspective? I hope to set the object layer Options to display or hide the new layers in Photoshop, rather than having to define their brand new from scratch when a new layer is added to the PSD.

  The option that you are referring to I think would be the bar of "Status". This gives a test:

  1. open 'My Documents '.
  2. at the top, click on view > status bar
