How to divide this compound path into segments?

This yellow buoy is a compound path. I want to divide it into 10 segments, in places where the black lines cross. Can you tell me how to proceed?

Mary,

Or you can select each of the lines and the object > divide objects below, that will leave the paths as independent parts.

It may be faster to Pathfinder > divide as suggested by Guy - OS, especially if you want to have the paths together. You can drag with the selection tool (Direct) on the Center and remove nostroke objects inside.

    Hey Assem,

    Once you have created a primary partition, it is not possible (for Windows XP) to divide the partition without using third-party software. You can see:http://support.microsoft.com/kb/309000 to create a new partition.

  • How to convert the compound path to simple way barred?

    New animation SVG here and you would appreciate the help.

    I exported an SVG graphic logo to facilitate the animation of lines in the logo. In short, I'm trying to make these lines 'draw' sequentially.

    After you import the SVG object in the browser, I realize the path data to describe complex shapes, rather than a simple path with a vascular accident brain. For example, straight lines appear as a path around the outside edge of the line, a rectangle. See the part of the image below showing the anchor around the edge of the line.

    While I could very well be wrong, it seems that I need to make these lines in the draw of logo is given simple way, with the width of the line determined by a stroke. Does anyone know how I could convert/export what I need to give me what I need?

    Thank you!

    Joseph,

    Simple/no tracks transparent FO, you can do the following:

    1) switch from fill to line in the Toolbox (in you first picture you have completed and no stroke);

    (2) ShiftClick each of the segments of both ends with the direct Selection tool and then tap on delete.

    This will give you two simple traces to the mixture;

    (3) object > mix > blend Options, not specified the value 1, then object > mix > do, then object > mix > Expand, then Ctrl / Cmd + Shift + group to ungroup, and then delete the traces of origin;

    (3) select the new path and him giving the desired weight of stroke (half of the difference in width for traces of origin).

    And Willi comments on using JPEG.

  • How to divide the Source file into smaller files without export?

    Hi all

    I am a beginner with PPro CS4 and video editing in general. I did a lot of research on Google and the search of these forums for an answer to this question, but I have not found a clear answer. Here's my problem:

    I have many hours of HDV video in recent years with a Canon HV30. This sequence is on dozens of DV tape cassettes. I want to capture most of it on the disk.

    When I capture a band on the disc, I get a single large mpeg4 file. (Body captures all HDV films in mpeg4). "select Scene" does not work with the HV30, so my only way to make a small capture files would be set In/Out points with batch capture. But that would mean hours of fast forward and back with VCR type controls on the camera for the revision of all bands and points. I thought it might be more QUICK to capture everything simply a whole band at once, and THEN examine the band captured the Organization (he is much faster using the Purifier), and by dividing the file into smaller files within the Organization, thus avoiding mechanical advance and rewind on the camera itself.

    But the only way I can find for it seems to imply EXPORT clips. Am I wrong to think that the export of a clip to a new file involves a degradation of the original mpeg4 source file? Or there will be no loss of quality if I simply export to mpeg4 format?

    It seems that there should be an easy way to simply divide the initial capture in small source files for editing later, without putting the images through a new generation of (exporting) treatment, which could result in a loss of quality. Or I'm wrong about this?

    (CS4 Master Suite, i7 3630 k, 16 GB RAM, C: 256 GB SSD, 1 t D:, E: 1 t F3 setpoint setpoint F3)

    HDV film is mpeg2 (which is a number). CS4 is not scene detect you will need to use HDV split for this.

    http://strony.aster.pl/paviko/hdvsplit.htm.

    You can run your files already captured by hdv split and it will cut the file into clips and you leave.

  • How to get the default path of the data of a table space file

    I used below the sql statement to create a table space:

    CREATE A TABLESPACE DATAFILE AAA BBB SIZE 10 M AUTOEXTEND OFF...

    Notice, I do not give a full path instead of a file name, and then ask questions relevant to tables

    get the full path of the data file, assume that it's path below:

    d:\oracle\...\BBB

    So I don't think that there is a default path that oracle can use it to create the data file. My question

    is how to get this default path before creating a table space.

    Thank you very much.

    Hello

    I did similar simulations for you, then it could be seen easily:

    SQL > Show parameter db_create_file_dest

    VALUE OF TYPE NAME

    ------------------------------------ ----------- ------------------------------

    db_create_file_dest chain

    SQL > SELECT NAME, VALUE OF V$ PARAMETER

    2 where lower (name) = "db_create_file_dest;

    NAME

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    VALUE

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    db_create_file_dest

    It has the value NULL. Then where my datafile is going?

    SQL > create tablespace TEST datafile 'test01.dbf' size 10 M;

    Created tablespace.

    SQL > select file_name

    2 of dba_data_files

    3 where nom_tablespace = 'TEST ';

    FILE_NAME

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    /U01/app/Oracle/product/12.1.0/Db_1/DBS/Test01.dbf

    When you check the alert logs, it will not show you the location of the data file. It will tell you what exactly you ran.

    ..

    ..

    Completed: drop tablespace test whose content and data files

    create tablespace datafile 'test01.dbf' size 10 M TEST

    Completed: create tablespace TEST datafile 'test01.dbf' size 10 M

    ..

    ..

    You can not SQL user * more? Well, I would say that, when you run the CREATE TABLESPACE command, is where you run the command:

    SQL > select file_name

    2 of dba_data_files

    3 where nom_tablespace = 'TEST ';

    FILE_NAME

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    /U01/app/Oracle/product/12.1.0/Db_1/DBS/Test01.dbf

    So, you should get the location of your data file. Alternatively, you can run the query in the parameter $ v so that you know your default data file location.

    I hope this helps.

    Thank you.

    Kind regards

    Gaetan

    Thanks for the replies.

    Trajon,

    You don't have a table. You have a store of garbage. There is a repeating group in your 'table' and column name_a etc is unnecessary, because you can derive the day of the week from your date by a to_char function.

    You can find it in your documentation online.

    Knowing that you can get the ordinal number of a date using to_char, what have you tried to do it yourself?

    Your answer is probably: NOTHING.

    First try to solve it yourself and if you post something here, make sure that this forum is not to throw up, because your code that is terribly bad.

    I have a DAQ Assistant configured to read 2 channels at the same time. When I have a graphical indicator of wire to the output, I see 2 signals mixed together. How I divided them into separate signals?

    When I wire any type of indicator, it is show that a release of a single channel.

    I want 2 indicators showing 2 different signals as expected from 2 channels configured. How to do this?

    I tried to use split signal but it end by showing that 1 out of 1 signal two indicators.

    Thanks in advance.

    Yes you are right. I tried, but I don't have the result.

    I just find the path. When we launch the split signal, we should expand it (split signal icon) by top, not the bottom. It took me a while to understand this.

  • Why my video files are divided into segments?

    I'm new on Premiere Pro and previously used FCP 7. I shoot a Canon Vixia HFM400, which is the AVCHD file format is. MTS. In FCP 7, I used to be able to insert my SD card into my card reader, open FCP 7, then go to file > Log and transfer and a video file of an hour to be ingested without any problem.

    Now, using Adobe Premiere Pro, I don't have a "Log and transfer" option, so I import my files .mts file stream from my SD card on my hard drive and import them in PP. However, with video files any longer, I noticed the .mts files are being divided into segments of 16 minutes. I tried just to put them back to back, and while the audio seems transparent, I lose a few images on the video, which makes it a little nervous. How can I fix? What I need to copy the structure of the entire file from the SD card? The only reason why I have not done it is pictures on the card that I can't import for this specific project. However, I read on other forums that it can solve the problem. I can test it, but I wanted to just make sure before wasting my time...

    Yes, you will need to copy the overall structure of the file on your hard drive and then use the import media browser if you don't want your film to segments.

  • How to divide a circle and the fill color for each individual segment

    I know that sounds easy, sorry I'm pretty new to illustrator.

    I need to divide a circle into 7 sections and then fill each of them individually. I tried the polar grid tool to divide the circle, but I couldn't turn each segment into distinct sections that I could color individually.

    The cirlce does not break upward into segments but creates a number of paths, the outline of the circle is a unique path.

    Does anyone know a quick solution to this? Am approaching this the wrong way? Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

    Thanks for your time,

    Tony

    You can use the live paint after split.

    Does anyone know if this is possible: how to DIVIDE a TRACK STEREO L & R CHANNELS INTO TWO MONO CHANNELS?  There must be a way, but I can't find how.

    I recorded a podcast - me and a guest, with each microphone goes to its own mono channel. When I opened it in hearing he mixes in a stereo channel.

    Once you have opened the file in the waveform editing view go to menu Edit "excerpt from the channels to mono files.

  • How can I add a stroke inside a compound path?

    Hello

    I have a problem, making adjustments to my way/form composed, as I would expose you the inside of the form of a trait - but this seems not possible that the line always surrounds the outside too.

    So: I have a simple rectangle with a white background, with a die cut window rectangle hole by using the action of compound path, so you can see the layers under. Now I want to caress the hole window, but NOT outside all of the rectangle. I'd be happy to split the top shape and I tried various options such as split, edit in isolation mode, extend (the button is grey), all the Scouts - but none of them allow me to do only inside a part of the path.

    Anyone know how I can do this? I work in CS5 and CS6.

    Thank you!

    Alexander,

    To freely use things on the external path, it would be more convenient for:

    (1) object > Compound Path > Release.

    (2) copy the internal path in front of you and hide the copy,

    (3) change the colour of the original inner lane black (black if you the Document Color Mode is RGB RGB) or white if he isn't already, then select the two traces of origin and in the transparency palette dialog box click make opacity mask, with unchecked Clip and mask Invert unchecked or checked (for the inner path black or white) ,

    (4) apply any effect desired in the hidden path.

    (5) show the copy of the inner lane and the fill set to None and the race as you wish.

    (4 and 5) can be done whenever you want, and do not hide the copy in 2), make sure you use the right one for the opacity mask.

    Select Edit > Preferences > General (if necessary, press ctrl-B to activate the iTunes menu bar), click import settings..., then select MP3 encoder from the first drop-down and choose the setting of the quality required in the second dropdown.  This then becomes the default format for imported CD media.
