How to enter the text message written in a popup window?

Hello
I tried the functional test of web application using OATS? I have to use the SMS (for comparison with text) written in a Popup. So can someone tell me how to enter and the message of written text in a popup window?

String test_1 = web.element (35, ' / web: window [@index = '1' or @title = 'SOME TEXT']/web:document[@index='1' and @name = 'frame_OAT1'] / web: div [@texte = "domain errors exist." ") ') .getAttribute ("text");

The problem with the above line is that Openscript will look for a div with text 'errors in domain exist.' element and if it locates it then she returns the value attribute of text which is "domain errors exist." This exercise don't purge not any purpose.

If you want to know any text that comes in this div, you must get the index and print this text in this index.

In case you just want to check, you can use exists() which gives a Boolean result directly. Like this

Boolean IsExists = web.exists ("/ web: window [@index = '1' or @title = 'SOME TEXT']/web:document[@index='1' and @name = 'frame_OAT1'] / web: div [@texte = 'errors in domain exist.']", 1);

The official guide are in the downloads page.
http://www.Oracle.com/technetwork/OEM/downloads/index-084446.html
Download the item named "Oracle Application Testing Suite 9.2.1 - Documentation" on this page.

In addition, you said just by writing @index you were unable to retrieve the value. Make sure that the index of the div does not change each time. If it evolves so it is more difficult and it is a whole new discussion.

Just index values get incremented. For example, if your window generates a pop-up window, your main window has an index of 0, your popup has an index of 1.

Tell me how it goes.

Kind regards
Narayan

    There is a third-party application that will send messages text for you, but other that that the only thing that you can do in native mode is to copy the text and paste it into an email and send it to yourself.

    Filing applies only to email BES (BlackBerry Enterprise Server) accounts.

  • Sierra of MacOS: How to highlight the text messaging?

    Mail to Sierra has the ability to use the highlight text? If so, how exactly is supposed to use it?

    With earlier versions such as Yosemite, there was a procedure mombo jumbo to create a copy highlighted in TextEdit text, save it in Styles and then use it in Mail. However, this old procedure no longer in Sierra. This procedure, however it seems a childish and surprised procedure than Apple people do not take care of this in later versions and not in the Sierra.

    Given that the feature "highlight text" is missing in the Sierra (the most advanced OS on the planet, some say, really?) I tried to do the same as previous in the Yosemite, has created a highlight in TextEdit text style, but cannot be used in the email. The context menu is different, does not allow to select 'styles '. If you go to Menu/Format/Style option "Styles" is grayed out!

    See this post. Re: Re: highlight text and delete in Mail

    I have not tried in Sierra.

  • Qosmio X 70-B-102 - how to enter the BIOS

    Greetings.

    Just a simple question. I think so.

    How in the BIOS of my laptop? Boils usually to press the Functionkey right (or combination of both) during the startup. My problem is that when I start my Qosmio, I don't see a message that tells me which key support. Can I be missing something (each time?), but I do not.

    I read the documentation that came with my laptop when I bought it, but couldn't find anything out there on how to enter the BIOS.

    Any info is greatly appreciated.

  • How to get the text of a SystemPrompt (Cascades)

    Hello

    I've been struggling with this for a few hours now. I followed the example of "dialogues" on github, so I have successfully created a SystemPrompt (the dialog box that allows the user to enter text and accept / reject). Curiously, in this example there is no use of user text input. Do you know how to get the text in my QML? Here you have an example of code that I use:

    My QML:

    // Default empty project template
    import bb.cascades 1.0
    import bb.system 1.0

    // creates one page with a label
    NavigationPane {
        id: navigationPane
        Page {
            attachedObjects: [
                SystemPrompt {
                    id: prompt

                    modality: SystemUiModality.Application
                    inputField.inputMode: SystemUiInputMode.Default
                    inputField.emptyText: "Label text..."
                    confirmButton.label: qsTr("Ok")
                    confirmButton.enabled: true
                    cancelButton.label: qsTr("Cancel")
                    cancelButton.enabled: true
                    onFinished: {
                        if (result == SystemUiResult.ConfirmButtonSelection) {
                            lab1.text = ????? // Here is where I don't know what to do
                        }

                }
            ]

                    text: "Update label"
                    horizontalAlignment: HorizontalAlignment.Center

                    onClicked: {

                }
            }

    Be sure to add this in your .cpp file or all of app:

    #include

    #include
    #include
    #include
    #include
    #include
    #include
    #include
    #include

    and don't forget to include them in your app .cpp file (probably not all are needed, but just in case I leave here for the moment):

    qmlRegisterType("bb.system", 1, 0, "SystemUiButton");
        qmlRegisterType("bb.system", 1, 0, "SystemUiInputField");
        qmlRegisterType("bb.system", 1, 0, "SystemToast");
        qmlRegisterType("bb.system", 1, 0, "SystemPrompt");
        qmlRegisterType("bb.system", 1, 0, "SystemCredentialsPrompt");
        qmlRegisterType("bb.system", 1, 0, "SystemDialog");
        qmlRegisterUncreatableType("bb.system", 1, 0, "SystemUiError", "");
        qmlRegisterUncreatableType("bb.system", 1, 0, "SystemUiResult", "");
        qmlRegisterUncreatableType("bb.system", 1, 0, "SystemUiPosition", "");
        qmlRegisterUncreatableType("bb.system", 1, 0, "SystemUiInputMode", "");
        qmlRegisterUncreatableType("bb.system", 1, 0, "SystemUiModality", "");
        qRegisterMetaType("bb::system::SystemUiResult::Type");

    Thank you very much
