How to export a multi-state scroll object into an interactive PDF?

I am trying to create an interactive PDF that has a screen mac with scrolling of web pages. Currently I have a blocked image in the background of the mac and object multistate on top of this acting like the screen, each State being a framework to scroll vertically with an image inside. This seems to work perfectly, when I saw, but wwhen I export it as an interactive PDF or an epub that all or part of the functionality disappears. Please can someone help to understand why this is happening or point me in the direction of a related tutorial?

Not that I know of.

  • Export docs Folio or InDesign to Flash or interactive PDF?

    I did a magazine for a retail brand in the United Kingdom, and I'm almost done.

    I now wonder questons by my client as chipboard pages can be exported in a format such as flash or interactive PDF. They want available on the internet, as well as on Apple or Android stores as an application.

    Not ayone we know if it has all the options available to achieve this?

    Thank you.

    You can export your Indesign an interactive PDF or SWF files. But it will not have much in common with your DPS application.

    And it will both advance the intention to set up ID files and additional tasks with separate layers for DPS and and SWF or PDF. I recommend only for applications with movies, a custom in app and possibly related navigation.  ESM, 360, Pan, scrolling images and animations of the html5 is prohibited.

    Hey Phillip,.

  • How can I improve the quality of video playback in interactive PDF files?

    I make a PDF from InDesign CC iInteractive with a few videos included. Everything works well except the videos shakes a little compared to play in quick time. The videos are in HD_H264.mp4 format. They are very large files, playing on a new Mac Book Pro with 8gig of Ram. I tried different things to improve reading, including setting up the PDF file to read in a floating window (which slightly improve things), but I prefer their largest.  Any ideas would be appreciated.

    There's not much you can do. The Acrobat family is 32 bit and acceleration hardware 2D is no longer supported - HD video playback is a battle. With the help of a floating window, you can make sure the video is a true 1:1 scale, which helps as she stops to Flash Player having to re - sample, but that's all.

  • Multi-state objects in InDesign CS5

    Hello everyone, I'm doing several States objects in InDesign CS5...  I have two objects multi-state on one page, and I have a few buttons in one of the several state object, when I checked the button actions, I don't see the second name of the multi-State under 'Object' for this button object.

    Can someone pelase guide me, the way that get this multi-state object second name under the keys please?

    Thank you very much.

    You cannot contol one MSO on the other. This is a limitation of InDesign.

    There are solutions but without seeing the document, it is difficult to

  • Function similar to the States of SWF objects in interactive PDF format

    Is it possible, through the use of maybe text anchors and hyperlinks, to perform a function similar to the States of SWF objects in an interactive PDF?  I hope that there is a clever way to allow end users to press a button that could hide/show page content in an interactive PDF file.  I have experimented with a number of things without success and was curious to know if the users of the forum know a solution.

    See you soon,.

    Steve

    You must use the functions of hide show with buttons. Not nearly simple as WHO, but it works.

    The content that would be show/hide would need to be converted into buttons to make it work.

  • [JS CS5] How to get the selected state of a multi-state object

    Does anyone know if there is a way to identify the State of a multi-state object is selected?

    You can select different States of an object of several State in the States Panel.

    In the object model.

    Mon_etat = app.selection [0].states.item (0);

    myState.active = true;

    .. .all the first State to the DSO. But I can't understand how to identify the State in which is currently visible. This doesn't seem to be possible in the object model, unless I'm missing something. Any ideas?

    Hey!

    Take a look at 'activeStateIndex' of MSO.

    Hope that helps.

  • The use of objects multi-state for the next stage of the course 9

    In my old clumsy e-Learning authoring tool, I could create a slide with several steps. You would click the button Next to display text and graphics.  When you get to the last step, the next step button disappears, so that you know that you have completed. How can I make this work with multi-state Cap 9 objects?  I created an object with 3 States multi-state. I created a button with an action go to Next State.  It is fine until you get to the last State.  If you click the button again, it starts again with the first State.

    Yes, I can create several buttons. But I really just want a button called next step which disappears after posting the last State.  The user would know that she had displayed all the steps.

    Any suggestions are welcome.  Thank you.

    Here is a sample script:

    This has been implemented for 6 States (for a container of text, the Normal State is an empty form).

    There are 2 user variables:

    • v_counter has a default value of 0
    • v_max is the number of States, you can replace it with the literal '6' or you need to

    The first decision "done" check if the counter reaches the maximum value (v_max). If this is the case all States should have been disclosed, and it should end the loop. That's why this decision will disable the button used to change States (SB_StateTrigger) and here also to change its status to an invisible state (AfterLoop). Upon return to the slide, the State will be back to Normal (visible), and simply activate the button again. You can replace this with a simple action to hide as well if you want.

    If the first decision is not true, there are still reports to be shown and the counter is incremented.

    All 6 other decisions are similar (I collapsed 2 of them): they will test the value of the counter and show the associated State. I used to state3 on a common standard. This makes it possible to use exactly the same advanced also action if the total number of States is less than 6. Simply change the value of v_max.

  • Multi-state object, smart in cap 9

    I have 5 buttons multi-state 1 slide. Each of them changes the State of a separate object. It works as expected with the exception that I would like each button on remand in an inactive state when clicked. Should I change action each button in a tip action that changes the State of the separate object AND change the State of the button itself to low to make this work? If Yes, what is the point of having a State down a a button shape smart so it does not remain in the State once clicked down?

    Thanks in advance for any answers.

    The variables are so close to measures progress/shared how can you live without variables when talk that you are experienced with advanced actions, I do not understand. The best way to start with advanced or shared actions using system variables in the group 'Film Control'.

    What I explained on the States of the button is common to all the buttons in all applications, not only to the shape buttons in Captivate. Just to clarify.  The limitation that exist in Captivate is that you cannot change the form for Inbuilt says (hope that changes later), but you can add as many custom reports you want, and those who have no limitations. Create a 4th state that resembles your idle state, which is very easy with shapes.

  • How to export all objects in ddl file.

    Hello

    How to export all objects in ddl file.

    Hello

    You can try this thing, but you need to do some R & D on your side as well.

    Reel under query on your hard drive.
    Run below command then you will get the instructions to get the ddl for the whole table.

    select 'select dbms_metadata.get_ddl(TABLE,'||tname||') FROM DUAL;' FROM TAB;

    It will show the result as for all tables...:

    select dbms_metadata.get_ddl(TABLE,NEW) FROM DUAL;

    Now you open the hold file in Notepad and make the above statement as:

    select dbms_metadata.get_ddl('TABLE','NEW') FROM DUAL;

    You can press on in Notepad ctrl and H to replace key and type in the first box of text TABLE and in the second "TABLE."
    Ditto for the name of the table.

    The slide in one by one by coil settting on so you will get each ddl statement in different files.

    I don't know if you are interested in R & D to yours and if you aren't then we forget.

  • How to export a PDF file to make nonprinting objects show but don't print not AND hyperlinks on the top of the page work at the same time?

    Firstly - I work in InDesign CC 2015.

    My problem is, I had this 10 page document, which, on every page, shows an object that must be in PDF format - but do not print. I made this object into a button and unchecked "Printable". On top of this object, I made 10 hyperlinks (separate layer) that point to the page 1-10.

    When you export the document and I use the interactive PDF format , works ' show nonprinting object but do not print ' well, BUT hyperlinks don't. If I uncheck the "layer of nonprinting objects" in the file PDF, then hyperlinks work, but the problem now is that the nonprinting objects are invisible...

    When you export the document and I use a PDF to print the "unprintable object show but do not print" does not work BUT the hyperlinks don't...

    I put hyperlinks to post a link to pages and also tried the link to the anchor text. No difference.

    So my question is: How to export a PDF file to make nonprinting objects show but don't print not AND hyperlinks on the top of the page work at the same time?

    Thank you

  • Question of the multi-state object

    Hello again,

    I would like to have the text window appear only on the click of a button.

    What I have to use a tip for this action or can I simply use a multistate object that I switch?

    If so, how to create an invisible State standard for only the second State as the visible box/picture I want to show?

    Am I missing something?

    Thanks for any help!

    I have to leave now for a meeting, will be back in a few hours.

    You can post a screenshot of the status display? And I would prefer to use ' change the State of... "to be very precise. Did you really follow the workflow, I explained to him? I always double check before answering a question.

    Myra,

    Office Viewer is old and it is really useful only for the most basic content preview. We have not updated the Viewer from office more than three years. I suggest to use the iPad or Android directly devices to get an overview of your work.
