How to fix a red screen before starting logon
I have a red screen when I connect. My laptop is sony vaio fw330j. Help, please.
Hello
Thanks for posting your question in the Microsoft Community Forums.
Please answer the following questions for a better understanding of the issue:
(1) to when was the last time he managed to boot up to the desktop?
(2) what were the changes made to the system before this problem?
I recommend to disconnect all external devices except the keyboard and mouse if you use it and then perform an automatic repair from the installation media.
Steps to perform an automatic repair from the Installation DVD:
(a) starting from the DVD of Windows 8.
(b) click on repair your computer.
(c) click on troubleshoot.
(d) click on Advanced options , and then click auto repair.
(e) follow the on-screen instructions and complete the repair.
You can also go through the steps in the article:
See the link: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-IN/windows-8/windows-startup-settings-including-safe-mode
If the problem persists, you can contact the manufacturer of the laptop.
Refer to the link; http://eSupport.Sony.com/us/p/index.pl
Hope it solves the problem, if you have questions about Windows, feel free to post.
Thank you and best regards,

How to fix a black screen?
Remember - this is a public forum so never post private information such as numbers of mail or telephone!
Ideas:
- You have problems with programs
- Error messages
- Recent changes to your computer
- What you have already tried to solve the problem
Hello
You can access Mode safe? Repeatedly press F8 as you start? If yes you can try Control Panel - device
Manager - graphics card - Double click on - driver tab - click on UPDATE driver - then right click
on devices and UNINSTALL - REBOOT.Another method to try to get to the desktop (try in normal Windows Mode without failure)
CTRL + ALT + DELETE and on the tab process EXPLORER.exe and COMPLETE the PROCESS on this subject - then
on the Applications tab - lower right - new task - type in EXPLORER.exe. Safe mode is reached
by tapping F8 as you start several times.First check this thread in case it is simple and if not to come back to this thread.

That there is no information on a black screen as it is on a blue screen just adds to the
Difficulty. Often using a restore point or Startup Repair will have no effect. You can try a

When starting a webcam Skype call or check the video settings in tools/options in Skype, the DX error 0x8007000E error message appears and prevents normal video on Skype, even if sound/audio function still seems to work ok.
Previously, had no problems, but this started after using a cell phone program Skype on another remote computer sometime before from Skype on my desktop home normal when the error appeared. The portable Skype program worked well both on another remote computer
The webcam is built into my ASUS VK222H LCD monitor after trying to install a driver updated for the webcam, a different error message in the BACK said that this cannot be done and now the webvam does not at all.
I am pleased to inform you that this problem seems to be fixed.
I followed the advice of the ASUS support forum and just reinstalled the webcam USB then restarted and both Skype and webcam now seem to work normally.

How to fix the blue screen (OD)?
Hello
I frequently get a BSOD that I believe is directly related to my purchased recently Bluetooth speaker (Logitech EU Boombox). Which suggests as possible my bluetooth driver is involved.
I managed to get the speaker to pair once, and I was able to listen to wireless music via Spotify. However, I had problems reconnecting, which could sometimes be fixed by deleting the bluetooth device and then add it again. To the course to add it again, however, my computer would regularly crash, show me the blue screen and then restart. I am a novice and have no idea how these problems. FYI, I'm in a constant dialogue with the dailies with Logitech, but they are very slow and does not give clear instructions.
I really hope that someone can help you.

All attached files of the DMP are the bug check IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL (a) .
This indicates that Microsoft Windows or a driver in mode accessed kernel memory paged at DISPATCH_LEVEL level or above.
This bug check is issued if the memory paged (or invalid) is accessible when the IRQL is too high. The error that usually generates this bug check occurs after the installation of the faulty device driver or service system, BIOS.

When I right click on the Start button and select Explorer, file system structure always opens to the C:\Users\my user id\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\StartMenu. How can I make C:\Users\my user id\Documents open to a more useful directory for example?
Hello
The option explores when right click on the start menu will take you to the path that you have described. You open the location of the real record of the entries that are found in the Start Menu.
This can not be configured to open somewhere else, because the right click tells explore from the menu start the computer you want to explore the folder that uses for its programs in the start menu.
Closest to you what you are looking for the solution will create a similar shortcut for the steps that precede and place it on the desktop or in an accessible place quickly to allow you to quickly access the Documents folder.

How to fix the red, yellow and blue bars in the preview of the video Panel window?
Until I upgraded to OS x everything was fine. After that this first began to display the color bars on the video, but only when he wasn't playing. If the video is less than 100% in the preview displays the color bars on break. She has a problem with one of the graphics (illustrator file) when it is rendered on. I removed it but it still has those stripes on break. If I play the video, everything seems fine. Someone at - it suggestions why it does this?
