At startup, the (A07) Bios recognizes 8 GB of memory, but when the "Starting Windows" screen it freezes and it goes no further. I can get out of 4 GB of memory and it still works very well on 4 GB. I looked for answers, but I can't see clearly how to get the full memory of 8 GB works on Windows 7 64 - bit for the Dell Dimension 5150. Would appreciate someones help with this. Thank you, Tony

  Click Start, then options type power and press ENTER.  Let us make sure that the system is not configured to sleep.  Go ahead and put the power plan to High Performance, then click on change Plan settings below.  There will be a framework for "put the computer to sleep".  The value than ever.
