How to get a maximum speed of RAM

Hello

I am a user of 64 bit windows 7 hp with 4 GB ddr 3 1333Mzh (transcend DDR3 1333) but unfortunately I do not have 1333 MHz even with large applications like Photoshop & Dreamweaver I want to know why does this happen and is there a solution for this problem

You have of DDR3 RAM which means Double Data Rate.  The 666,5 MHz you have listed in CPU - Z is the clock frequency and DDR3 RAM works on both edges of the clock, where DDR3 (Double Data Rate).  As a result, you get 666 multiplied by 2 (DDR) MHz or 1333 MHZ.

Your system is normal and the RAM runs at max speed.

  • Envy TouchSmart 17-j153cl: maximum speed DDR3L RAM in HP ENVY 17-j153cl

    Hello!

    I currently have the Touchsmart from HP Envy 17-j153cl with a BIOS updated. The vehicle has currently 2x8GB sticks of RAM SoDIMM DDR3L strips - 1600 MHz. I was wondering what was the maximum speed of RAM supported by the BIOS. I'm hoping to upgrade to Kingston HyperX 2133 MHz SODIMM 2x8GB DDR3L, but I heard that if the laptop BIOS does not support the higher speed, it is just downclocked. So, I wanted to know if bios default HP on the 17 - j153cl can handle the speed of the potentially new RAM. Thank you for your help.

    Hello

    1. This permanently cancels the warranty. Are you sure that the machine allows to do this?
    2. I have some older posts to talk about RAM. I usually use the car for example. You can run a race car at high speed on a race track, not on normal/streets roads; especially on roads with speed limits.

    You have 32 bit Vista OS (can support max ~ 4GB RAM)

    Your computer laptop support up to 4 GB of RAM MAX - so even if you install OS 64-bit, your motherboard only supports up to 4 GB in the first place.

    You can replace a 1 GB of RAM from the slot with 2 GB PC2-6400 DDR2 667 MHz SO-DIMM SDRAM, but the cost of RAM will be huge compared to the performance & capacity that he proposed as these types of RAM (DDR, DDR2) are not used in recent laptops & they are 'very precious' for - $ 100 for a key 2 GB DDR2.

    Go through page 1-3, 3-6, 4-13, 14 in this manual.

  • How to get the maximum disk size for a powershell prompt

    Hi guys

    I tried all day to get the value of the maximum disk size allocated to a virtual machine. Using get - view I can see the actual size of disc but when I look at VM via 'Edit Machine' I see ' hard disk 1' ability to 40 GB and and size maximum (GB) to 97.5 - How do I get this maximum size via powershell?

    See you soon

    Sparky

    Near there, it is actually the amount of free space on the data store over the current size of the hard drive.

    With this script, you can calculate the value

    foreach($dev in (Get-VM  | Get-View).Config.Hardware.Device){
      if($dev.DeviceInfo.Label -like "Hard Disk*"){
        $dsFree = (Get-Datastore (Get-View -Id $dev.Backing.Datastore).Info.Name).FreeSpaceMB
         $diskSize = ($dev.CapacityInKB / 1Kb)
         $MaxSize = $dsFree + $diskSize
         Write-Host "Maximum size for" $dev.DeviceInfo.Label "=" ("{0:f2}" -f (($dsFree + $disksize)/ 1Kb)) "Gb"
      }
    }

  • How to get sync high speed off faster with a 60 d and 430 ex ii camera?

    I try to get my speedlite 430 to sync high speed with my camera off camera.  Once I did all that I can't get a shutter speed of 250.  I need the higher speeds for what I want to do and I need the flash off camera.

    What do you use to control the 430EX II off-camera?  You have a speedlite controller or another flash speedlite?

    The 430EX II supports Sync high speed when it works as a remote off-camera/slave flash, but it's automatic.  If the flash unit is set to use high sync speed then the slave will also use high sync speed... you have not actually the value of the slave in sync mode high speed.  (See page 29 of the manual 430EX II).

    If you use the built-in on the 60 d flash to trigger the 430EX II then this could be the problem because the built-in flash does not support Sync high speed.

  • Persistent for the subtraction of the background image collection (how to get the maximum value of each pixel in a series of images IMAQ)

    Hi all

    I have a system of LabVIEW which takes advantage IMAQ tools and features of the Vision Development Module.  A useful feature that I put in place is to be able to take a snapshot of the video stream and then subtract this single image among the subsequent images.

    What I want to do is to collect a series of images instead of one, and then create a unique image of these frameworks is just the maximum value of pixels in each pixel (a bit like a display persistent).

    It would probably be very easy to be implemented by converting the image to a table and then by doing math number on the table and then turning into an image, but I hope that someone here may know how to use the IMAQ/VDM tools to do this in a way more compact.

    Thank you very much

    Hello

    When there is a WHERE clause, it always comes after the FROM clause. (Joints and their conditions are part of the FROM clause).
    Try this:

    WITH     got_rnum    AS
    (
         SELECT     cod_acct_no
         ,     amt_instal
         ,     ROW_NUMBER () OVER ( PARTITION BY  cod_acct_no
                                   ORDER BY          ctr_stage_no       DESC
                           ) AS rnum
         FROM    loan_schedule
    )
    SELECT     m.cod_acct_no, m.amt_disbursed, m.bal_book
    ,     r.amt_instal             AS high_amt_instal
    FROM     loan_mast     m
    JOIN     got_rnum     r     ON     r.cod_acct_no     = m.cod_acct_no
                        AND     r.rnum          = 1
    WHERE m.cod_acct_stat = '8' ----------[this is condition is newly added to apply the same in production to fetch desired record]
    ;

  • How to get the maximum No.

    Hi friends,

    I want to generate request id (R1, R2,...) for a ticket.

    That is to say.

    Ticket_no Ticket_date Req_id Req_date
    123 11/10/2009 R1 11/10/2009
    123 R2 11/10/2009-10/12/2009
    123 R3 11/10/2009-15/10/2009

    124 12/10/2009 R1 10/13/2009
    123 R4 FROM 11/10/2009-18/10/2009
    125 10/13/2009 R1 10/17/2009

    He should always start with R1, R2...

    How can I implement in a single table?

    My Oracle form can be used by multiple users as well.

    Concerning
    KarTiK.

    Kitenge,

    Write this code in the WHEN-CREATE-RECORD-INSTANCE trigger and relaxation before INSERTION of the block.

    So when the user begins to create a record, he can see the number of application and at the time of the savings, the application number will generate again.

    Kind regards

    Manu.

  • Aspire to the maximum speed of RAM V3 - 372T

    The V3 - 372T with i5-6267U takes care of superior to 2133 MHz DDR4 rates? I know that Intel specifies these things on the Ark, but on the desktop, it is generally higher than the Intel specification. Thank you

    Hello

    As far as I know, the Aspire V3 - 372T series only supports DDR3L - 1600 MHz.

  • IdeaPad S205 RAM/memory: maximum speed?

    Hello

    Lenovo customer service/tech support I asked this question several times, each to give me an answer to 1066 mhz.

    What is the maximum SPEED for the RAM/memory usable by the S205 with AMD Fusion the E450 processor?

    I understand 8G (2 slots of 4G) is the maximum capacity of ram.

    But what is the maximum speed of the ram? I thought that the maximum allowance is 1 066 mhz due to the site, despite the AMD website, saying that the E450 can manage 1333 mhz.

    Obviously, I want to max out my RAM. I went on the site of Kingston and used the option to locate specific RAM for this device and it gave rise to 1 066 mhz 2X4G sticks. So I bought and it just. I just want to come here and see if someone actually KNOWS what as the maximum speed capability (or anything else I should be aware of outside Gig capacity) which can take the S205 with AMD Fusion the E450.

    EDIT:
    In new research, I found the following.

    (1) according to the support of crucial technology, the RAM frequency/speed is controlled by the processor CPU only. And as said by him, the AMD 300 and 350 have a maximum speed of control for the RAM of 1066 mhz. However the E450 has a 'controller memory integrated (up to 1333 MHz) DDR3"as seen go ( http://www.lenovo.com/shop/americas/content/pdf/system_data/s205_tech_specs.pdf ).

    Also note that just below him, he goes on to say that the maximum speed for RAM is at 1066 mhz. Therefore, this disturbs more the issue. It seems to me that, when they are max memory capacity and speed, they forgot that the E450 can manage more of the E300 and E350 and simply serve their maximum speed of 1066.

    I already went ahead and bought 2X4G 1066 RAM. Fortunately, I did not open them. But now it comes to ship to the company and having to order the good 1333 mhz RAM. Otherwise I use RAM that is slower than my full potential.

    I advanced and called Lenovo and it brought to their attention. After the daughter of back and forth between 1066 and 1333, she decided at the end (of course assistance from their technical support level 2) 1333 is maximum for E450.

    Conclusion:
    It seems that if you have E450, you may have to 1333.

    If you have E300 or 350, you can have 1066.

    If anyone has confirmation, please tell.

    If you go to the Lenovo support site and enter the serial number of your S205, if will give you a list of all the machine components (including the RAM module manufacturer, size, speed, etc.).

    The manual indicates that the specification of RAM for my S205 1066.  By entering my serial number, I found that Lenovo had actually installed 1333 RAM in my system.  Then, when I added more RAM, I knew to add 1333 instead of 1066.

    No, I didn't bother to check my actual speed of the RAM.

  • Satellite Pro L - how to get the 2 GB RAM recognized?

    Hi all, I'm new to the forum and I cannot get my laptop to recognize kingston DDR2 2x1GB two identical cards.

    I first had 512 MB card and replaced, which, with the cards Go too 1 booted up and system show only 896 MB so asumed 1 card was defective. 1 remove maps and 1 left in the slot in the bottom, rebooted and still 896 MB, rearranged 1 with the other card 1 GB and initialized and same 896 MB or something. If the two cards into the lower slot but not work together so I thought then perhaps the top slot was not working.
    I tried both cards 1 GB by themselves in the top housing and both show 896 MB.

    So I then tried the original 512 MB with 1 the1GB cards and weak a system here is reading 1.37 g of ram. My question is how can I get both the Rams from 1 GB to start working so bed 2 GB system?

    Hey Buddy,

    Before you start a lengthy discussion, you should post which model of laptop, you use. Maximum use of RAM depends on the motherboard, chipset and BIOS.

    But now that it sounds like that the modules are not compatible to your laptop.
