  In my previous answer, it's just two examples on how to post/get messages. This does not mean that you need simply copy the code and it can work. You need to change the id of the message to your own ID message. If your message id is "Votre_message", you must post "Votre_message" in Panel1 while not 'com.adobe.host.notification.TransferRequest'and you must listen to "Votre_message" in Panel2 while not 'com.adobe.host.notification.SelectedAssetInfo'.

  The problem is using the callbackData parameter if it is a pointer, it must be a pointer to something which is still topical at the moment that the callback executes.   Figured out how to do this.  Go to the SDK to get the font properties - is kind of nonobviousness.  But once you have the font properties, you can create a font of meta in CVI, with properties, and once you have the meta font you can use GetTextDisplaySize (...) to get the size.  For any future reference:

  One way is to create a clip made up based on the title and the original clip. Then apply the effect.

  Another way is to use an adjustment layer.
