• How to create a pick list in the navigation bar

  I thought about a way myself. Its works fine as well. Please find the steps below.

  • Create a region in page zero as a model "empty with attributes.
  • Create a P0_SELECTION to a P0_SELECTION class (if you do not use this class, you can still refer with ID P0_SELECTION, your choice)
  • Create a bar the entrance to the navigation list with the following properties-online class/Image = SELECTIONPOSITION, entry list Label =, Target = URL, target URL = javascript: void (0);

  When you have finished the above activities, go to a page where you would like this item placed in the navigation bar. Simply put the code below in the section JS page (Execute when the Page loads).

  $(". P0_SELECTION')

  .appendTo(".) SELECTIONPOSITION");

  The jquery above to add the item to the navigation class class. Now the best way is to designate the ID. All you need to do is change as below.

  $("#P0_SELECTION")

  .appendTo ("#SELECTIONPOSITION");

  In this way, you can position your elements from anywhere in the page. All you need to do is to create and DISPLAY or class position and adds the element using jQuery.

  Seems like a very simple, stupid question, that is, I'm totally new to the ADF, this one is stumping me, and Google does not help things.
  
  Here is a simplified version of what I'm trying to do:
  (1) I have an enumeration of 'Color' that contains red, green and blue.
  (2) I have a class of "Snowball" that includes a color, say:
  Color ballColor;
  (3) in a JSF page, I want the user to select the color of a list of choices and a store is the color selected in ballColor so I don't know what color my ball.
  
  Unfortunately, in JDeveloper, when I drag ballColor on my page and select "ADF select a choice" as the control, I can not add attributes to the data mapping.
  
  Obviously, I need to add attributes "somewhere".
  
  Someone has a link to a tutorial or documentation, where someone implements an enumeration of Java as a list of choices ADF? I'm sure it's easy and I am embarrassed to ask, but after 3 hours of fruitless search, it's time to ask someone who knows what they are doing.

  You must use a dynamic list for this. so use something like:

  Where controllerBean is a managed bean and the following method:

      colors.add(new SelectItem(Color.GREEN));

  Note that could have specified a custom label by adding a second argument to the constructor SelectItem, but by default it will use Celsius.ToString where the value is the first argument to the constructor, so in this case Color.toString () which is Color.name () default for enums if your list contains the labels RED, BLUE and GREEN respectively.

  You can do within the db using the order by clause

  select * from xxxx order by to_number(regexp_substr(data, '[0-9]+'))
  

  XXXX is the name of your table and the data is the name of the column to sort.

• How can I scan multiple pages in the ADF to a pdf file?

  I have wireless scan documents of several double-sided pages, 37 pages generally, using an ADF (automatic document feeder) of my HP Officejet Pro 8600 N911g to my MacBook Pro. The scanner works well except it tries to save files as files separated from 37 and neither she nor the MacBook is running out of memory as it transforms into a huge file, 300 MB or more.   Well, I finally managed to make it work. You need a war with the shared library jar under WEB-INF/lib, and then reference it in the application weblogic.xml.

  OK, I did a very stupid thing: I installed Waterfox, decided I didn't need and when I uninstalled it I check 'delete all settings '. I didn't know that he shared all the parameters with Firefox.

  It is a bit tedious, but if you search for the GUID, you can probably get the names of most of these extensions because when people stick their list here in the forum (usually behind the link system more next to their post Details), both are included.
