  I am a creative cloud paid member with access to the Adobe application Manger. When I download and install Acrobat XI (also has happened with previous versions), it installs just the full version of the software, so he messes with my sepcifically of Microsoft Office with Word program, install macros or whatever. So whenever I run Word, I get errors.

  I need to install Acrobat XI as a standalone program, so I can choose the CUSTOM installation. But, as I do through the Adobe Application Manager, I have no control over that.

  After you install Acrobat via Adobe Application Manager, you can go to the Start Menu-> Control Panel-> programs-> programs and features (windows 7, something similar should exist for other operating systems too). You will see a list of all the applications installed on your computer. There you can select Adobe Acrobat Pro XI and click the button change above. A windows install Adobe Acrobat dialog box will appear. Select modify, and then click Next. Now you will get a dialog box similar to the CUSTOM installation dialog box.  You can select/deselect features according to your requirement, and that should solve your problem. According to your requirement, you can disable the feature: «Create Adobe PDF-> Acrobat PDFMakers-> Microsoft Office» I hope this helps.

  In this case, the notion of paragraph has no special meaning. It's an interpretation put on a layout by the human brain, which uses clues like the indentation and spacing between the lines to decide how to structure the text.

  There is in fact no notion of setting or line spacing back in a PDF document either. There is only text, with positions. Increased line spacing could be inferred from a greater difference in the coordinate Y (but it could also be the largest type, or a space for an image). Indentation could be deduced from a largest abscissa of the first item in line (but this may be too complicated if the base line is changed, with respect to the indices and exponents).

  Your program can make any decision he likes based on the text and its position, including guess what is a paragraph (or a margin or a column, or a reference, or header or footer...)  If your entry is compatible, you can have good success in these assumptions.

  Creative cloud is not a Web host.   Is your Cloud space to save copies of your work files.

  You must first get a public web space on the server of a hosting provider or use Business Catalyst to host your site files.

  Your web hosting provider will send you an email with the login details.  You need this information to install your remote site definition in DW.

  Go to Site > new Site > see screenshots below.

  Specify your Site Local folder where your site files will be on your hard drive:

  Some hosts have a virtual directory on the server where you must place the files in your web site.   It might be public_html or htdocs.  It depends on the hosting provider.

  As all your PDF documents are now appear as a word file, please right-click on any PDF file icon and choose ' open with... > choose default program > Adobe Acrobat XI "and click OK.

  This will open the PDF with Acrobat files only and not Word.

  Then, you can try to convert PDF into word via Adobe Reader.

  Hello. I use the kit Adobe SDK to split large PDF into a set of small PDF files, using a set of page ranges. I created 2 PDDocs.  One is for the original PDF, which I open it.  In the other, I insert a range of pages of the original.  I'm doing this for each set of pages.

  It works fine, except that the combined size of the smaller PDF files is 10 or more times the size of the original PDF file! Y at - it an explanation for that?   You can get an idea on what elements are the use of how much space in the PDF file by opening the various Acrobat Pro files, and then select file > save as other > optimized PDF - then click on the "Use of space Audit" button in the upper right corner of the dialog box that opens. When you compare the use of the space of your source files with the file target that you can discover what is causing the increase in the size.

  Launch Adobe Illustrator.

  Go to 'File', then 'Open' and select the PDF file you want to convert a file I.

  Once opened, go to 'File', then ' Save as ' and change the type of file to a file HAVE.

You can try to re - generate the PDF file with this feature turned off to see if that makes a difference?
