  Your list seems to be a bit restrictive, you can do much more with the procedures of ODI.

  If you create the new procedure and add a step. In the 'source' tab command you define technology and pattern according to your source database. Use the unpivot operator as described in the link, please, instead of using "SELECT *' use the column names and aliases for example:"

  TABLE IS INDEXED, SO I NEVER AM NOT ABLE TO USE SQLLDR FEATURE DIRECT = TRUE.

  So that the new row to select, you need to add the key to the new line created in the SelectedRowKeys of the table.
  (1) create a link to the table named "table".
  (2) after the insertion of the new line, add the following code:

  Key to the new line should be added to the key defined for the selected table row to be selected.

  have you tried dragging a control element in the note window? Sometimes by train is easier than to ask. Drag an af:popup, add an af:noteWindow and an af:commandButton. You can launch the Java popup.

  Everything works as I expect except the last line. I have a js function returns a formatted string (Date set with Javascript , but in this case, my field now contains the definition of the actual code, not the date string the function actually returns.
  
  I don't think that I'm just not understand a simple concept for JavaScript here?
  
  A simple solution might be to create the P0_SYSDATE, calculated field to TO_CHAR(SYSDATE,:F_DATE_FORMAT), then apply

  dateBooked.value = $v('P0_SYSDATE');

  but I'm trying to improve my understanding of javascript/jQuery...

  So are you saying that return_date is a function real javascript, which returns the document to the format string/date you want?
  If so, then I think you simply need parenthesis to function:

  dateBooked.value = return_date();
  

  Or... I'm missing something here?
