How to make a contour outline of an image?

Hello

The answer to my question could be simple enough for most of you, but I've never done something like this before in PS. So I was wondering how I can make the outline of a circle, a specific image. I want to create an outline of the circle, the outline is a photo (or texture) that I created. Does anyone know how I would go all this? Thank you.

Most love all kinds of ways to do this. Here is one that is non-destructive, so you can change it.

Create a duplicate of your image layer that you want to add the line to.

Set the fill opacity 0:

Double-click the Panel layer to open the layer UI styles and determine the race:

Put this layer in a group.

Add your texture above the Group and opt/alt-click layer to a layer of cutting of your texture layer with the group with the STROKE layer. The following shot shows the structure and the layer mask shows what is below these layers.

    I'm waiting for the answer...

    Welcome to the forums.

    It's a difficult question to answer, because you are a junior developer.  So, there are many things that you must learn to understand the answers you get.  But could someone give you the code to do it and it might work, but if it breaks, then you know how to fix?

    So instead I'll give an overview of the solution and allow you to study and learn so much more as you go.

    First thing, it is to be abele to write a program that displays a screen.  I guess you found samples and therefore know how to do that.

    Then you need to understand the 'dimensions' and the capacity of a screen.  I think this article helps with this:

    http://supportforums.BlackBerry.com/T5/Java-development/MainScreen-explained/Ta-p/606644

    Then you must know how to create 3 columns on your screen.  I think that this article will help you with this:

    http://supportforums.BlackBerry.com/T5/Java-development/create-a-custom-layout-manager-for-a-screen/...

    Then you must know how to create a field that uses the space allocated to it al:

    http://supportforums.BlackBerry.com/T5/Java-development/create-custom-fields/Ta-p/444962

    Finally, you need to know how to make this a button field.  To do this, you must override navigationClick and touchEvent.  Enter in which is probably a little too much right now.

    So many of read you.

    However I really recommend to start by working through the provided tutorials - tutorial type in the search box to find these.  With the help of tutorials, you will get a better understanding of how the BlackBerry "hangs together."

    And finally, I recommend you get a book, such as Bill Foust.

    Good luck and have fun!

    looking at your specific reference - these seem to be flat lines in 3d space. one way to do, is after you 3d on caterpillars and set your master plan, you can have a change of shape layer the ground plan null parent, add a path and draw in space 3d can open another view to the view of face and personalized your way. in a configuration up like this:

  • How to make perfect thin outline internal text?

    Hi all

    I want to get something like thatUntitled-1.pngit is far from perfection.

    Black is police and cyan is hierarchical. I want a thin outline inside the text and contour should align to the center of never the angle of the text. & What we also achieved something like this in photoshop or coreldraw?

    Concerning

    Years Prince.

    If you look at the B, each counter (hole) is surrounded by a full internal path (part of a compound), but the external path (part of the compound) toured together and not formulas no equivalent for the right-hand side between the counters.

    That's why divide the shape into pieces where you can use the mixture by adding the missing bits in the extent necessary and join the (bits and) pieces.

    There is a description of how to work in a similar way to a and B as shape in this recent thread (a different task),

    http://forums.Adobe.com/thread/1443405?TSTART=0

    You can split the K in three simple parts where you can use the mixture.

    You can also have a look at the PDF linked in the related thread in by Peter.

  • How to make a black outline around my forms?

    Hello I managed to get a black around my shapes outline (as seen in the attachment) I want to know how to do. I don't know how I did it! Can anyone help?Option4_Wheesht.jpg

    Lanithu,

    If you mean the black forms of variable width, showing the hands and face, you can start/do it this way for each:

    (1) create the shape of base (one of the edges) with a path;

    (2) move a copy the distance desired in the direction (bottom right);

    (3) anchor points to adjust as you wish (for example (sometimes) those at the mouth);

    (4) select the inner path and object > path > Offest path to create the path for the Type of path, remove unwanted segments (end segments and the opposing party); You can type before or after school with forms;

    (5) connect each pair of paths to form closed paths and reshape the parts at the end as you wish;

    (6) add fill and eliminate stroke.

  • How to make slideshow change when click on image?

    How can I make a great slideshow base which replaces the following image when you click on the current image on?

    I want to remove all the thumbnails and navigation (previous/next) and only have the slide show forward advance.

    Looks like a very basic slideshow function. Any help is appreciated.

    A

    You could always just put the navigation above the slide show and remove the widget. Cover half of your slide show with navigation on the left and half with right NAV. Make sure that the background of the nav button has no fill. If the user clicks on the left side of the image he go back and the right side of the image will be going forward.

  • NEED HELP: on how to make the text field on the image (file I) sliced in Dreamweaver

    First of all, I will apologize for not being a guy of current code or understanding terminology.  I'm old school and build Web sites for my businesses and programs.  I have a situation where I have designed a website on Illustrator and sliced the site and imported into Dreamweaver. Everything works fine, however, I train for the life of get me a (perhaps called a tag div or something) text box on one of my sliced background images.  I have tried everything; read online tutorials and watched, however, it does not work for me.  In the past, I had someone just put the code in (or fix my code) to make a table of open field, on top of my background image that I slit, so that I could add the content type to it.  Can someone help me with this please?

    Here is the code for the site.  I put RED, the text field I try to overlay a text table or a box to work with.   Thank you a lot if someone maybe can add the code (or the DIV) to make it work, but also if you can put it in a different color so I know how to this in the future, it would be a great help too.

  • How to make a script to resize the image to fit the exact framework?

    Good afternoon

    My friend works on a task to do several images to adapt to the size of the image 500 x 700 px.

    We are working on this script, if she sometimes makes the height above 700 px.

    Can anyone help to change?

    ___

    doc = app.activeDocument;

    doc.changeMode (ChangeMode.RGB);

    var fWidth = 500;

    var fHeight = 700;

    If (doc.width > fWidth, 'px') {}

    doc.resizeImage (UnitValue(fWidth,"px"), null, null, null, ResampleMethod.BICUBIC);

    }

    else {}

    doc.resizeImage (null, UnitValue(fHeight,"px"), null, null, ResampleMethod.BICUBIC);

    }

    ___

    The thing is the need of the image to have a ratio of 5:7 to fit 500px 700px area.  An image can have a width and height of any number of pixels. All a camera will have a width and a height greater than the 700px. If your script above would create a very distorted portraits bouquet close

    Download the package of my action craft he has a script that I wrote for use in actions that make it very easy to do what you want.

    Scripts can be used in actions and actions can be used in scripts.  Photoshop scripts can also be programmed as a Photoshop plug-in.  When a plug-in is saved in action the plug-in saves the setting you used in its dialog box in the action stage. When the Action is played.  The plug-in does not display the dialog instead, it will use the setting saved in step of the action.  No user interaction is required action may be batched.

    Most Photoshop users cannot write scripts, but it have no problem using scripts to write than others.  As Adobe Photomerge, Image Processor, image Fit etc...

    I wrote a plugin script using Adobe adapt design Image that will make the selection of image format while maintaining the orientation of the document.  So if you have a 4:3 camera and a collection of pictures of her you landscape of 4:3 and 3:4 Portraits.  If you use my plugin aspectratioselection script in action and a followed centered 3:2 aspect ration of a culture of image and batch as the action on your images you would be left with landscapes of 3:2 and 2:3 Portraits.  The three step action, that's all you need registration.

    menu stage 1 file > automation > AspectRatioSelection...  In his dialogue game 5 7 central rectangle replace feather selection 0

    menu step 2 Image > Crop

    menu step 3 file > Automate > Fit Image in its width and height 700 px value dialog box

    You wind upward with 700x500px landscapes and portraits of 500x700px.

    I have created at least six of the lately. I use to do slideshows for my various devices.   I put the images I want to use in a folder of image source on my desk and play action creates six slide shows is a slide in a slide show on my desktop folder. In six of the subfolders. The Action is all two steps. The first step is running a script that deletes the folder slide shows.  The second step is a step in Image Processor Pro plugin.  This process, the image source in the slide shows folder file, save six series of jpeg images, it's six subfolders. Galaxy tab display 16:10 sideshow 2560 x 1600 and also as a 3:2 slideshow 2400 x 1600.  Surface Pro 3 sideshow 3.2 2160 x 1440, iPo4 4: slide show of 3:2 960 x 640, HDTV 1920 x 1080 and 4kTV 3840 x 2160. I take a coffee break... While the action runs.

    I use a Netbook, which has a small screen, so I generally "zoom" to enlarge the appearance of text and images. Is it possible to block a desired zoom level so that I don't have to adjust each new tab or window I have open?

    You could try the add-on squint No....

  • How to make PS CS3 to see raw images

    I had to upgrade my computer and the new computer is Windows 7 64-bit with an environment of four main system.  It came with 7 preloaded items and it works very well with raw images.  CS3 apparently loaded without any problems, but when I try to open a raw image I get a message 'not the right kind of document.  Have activated the plugin raw and that's where and the correct version.  Would it be the 64-bit gives the problem,

    Each camera RAW format should be specifically supported by Adobe Camera RAW so the version of ACR you use would have been released after that your camera model was available for sale.

    Since you're re-installing, you probably just need to update to the last version compatible with your products, because Adobe does not update the installation media whenever a new ACR is released.  CS3 will use the last ACR 4.x. who I think was 4.6.  You can find the latest version of your CS3 and PSE7 on the next page, where the instructions for Photoshop and elements are slightly different, so each must be updated separately:

    http://www.Adobe.com/support/downloads/product.jsp?product=106&platform=Windows

    PSE7 will probably accept a version newer than PS, itself, so instructions for PSE7 can be in a different version.

    Another way to find the location of the plug-in is to search your entire hard drive "Camera RAW.8bi" and replace those with the one you download for ACR 4.6.
