How to make a slow motion effect smooth?

I was editing a trailer and wanted a scene to be idling, but the effect is very jerky. Any help

What is the format of the source, for example, 1080i, 720 p 60, etc.?

More the frame rate, more chances to be decent slow mo. If you shot in 24 p or 30 p, then the options are limited. In all cases, do a right click the clip on the timeline and select 'Interpolation' and see if that helps.

Best case scenario is the use of 'product', like shooting at 60 p and editing in a 30 p or 24 p - this results in silky slow motion sequence.

Please let us know the specification of source material and editing record sequence.

If you have After effects, there is a way to create the interpolation between the images to get better results, but a bit more work to do first.

Thank you

  • How to make a slow animation more smooth on Youtube?

I fear that this a problem that can be solved, but I'll try:

Here's the video of example of what I'm talking about: gloriam testi - YouTube

The video made with After Effects CS6. There is a slow 'moving camera"and a movement slow light of flares. The problem is that when the downloaded YouTube these movements are really not smooth even if it is 50 fps on youtube. Is it possible in rendering parameters that could minimize this?

The original video is smooth and its rendering using the settings for youtube. Could it make a difference if I change the speed of rendering? What the FPS? Now the project and video rendering is 50 fps but could he (somehow) to move better if I make it to 25 frames per second?

    Thanks for the help!

There's not much you can do. You have chosen the most unsuitable topic for MPEG compression: a nearly static image with details purposes and nothing going on top of it. There is quite simply no temporal variability and the compression is not working, because there is no real movement. All he can do is distribute stained areas better than she can, and which eventually causes the jumps. Of course there may be other things such as problems of quantification in the rotation values because everything is so super slow, but one way or the other that does not change the fact that only rethinking and reworking your design can solve these problems, not a magical switch.

  • How to make a morphing/disintegration effect?

    Hello

    Complete newbie to Motion here...

I'm filming tomorrow a customer for a hologram on a black background, and they want to turn into a 'happy birthday' in 3D after their speech in post.

A bit like how this morphs of singer in a coca cola bottle here at 01:40, with the bottle in text. https://www.YouTube.com/watch?v=IHV-F_R0BMg

What is the best way to achieve this?

Do you still use Yosemite? If so, what version of Motion do you have? Happy birthday 3-d is going to be much easier in motion 5.2 +.

    In the meantime, the basics:

Luma Key background (you will need a cache of transparency around your subject.)

Create a transmitter - 3D - objects swirling effect (you will need for Z-align your subject inside the "spiral")

Fade out target - bland in 3D happy birthday text (and animate position final [I guess])

1,2,3 - easy [but if you need assistance with the "details" - and you if you are as you say: a "complete newbie -" we can keep this thread going...]

  • How to make the high quality look smooth and not grainy photo?

I uploaded a picture of my camera and when I change it on Photoshop, it seems pretty grainy.
I'm doing an assignment for my photography class where I have to imitate the project of photographer and I chose this picture http://ic.pics.livejournal.com/_pinkpornstar_/1198725/322258/322258_original.jpg.

However, once I took the picture, I have now is quite high in quality and import it in Photoshop, I can't find a way to make it more clear than "professional" photos out there!

I know that if I Zoom, it becomes less grainy, but even after I record and zoom, the picture is still not as smooth as the one I aim.

Is it because of the settings that I used while taking the photo?

PS: Sorry for this fundamental issue, I'm a noob to this.

JPEG quality is never (or not as high as possible). Shoot raw and process in Camera Raw, where you have total control over all other treatment and noise reduction settings.

JPEGs are self-treated behind doors closed, highly compressed and throw large amounts of data.

  • How to get slow motion with 720/60 p material in first Pro CS5.5

    Hello world

I am trying to learn how to get a slow motion effect with material that was shot at 60 p (59,94 frames per second).

I imported this material (AVCHD codec) in first Pro CS 5.5 and created a new sequence with 25 frames per second. The material is still, to a normal playback speed. no idle...

Can someone tell me if I have missed out on something really simple :-)? Or this is more complicated than I thought?

    Any help welcome,

    Thank you!

    Toni

OK, this is weird to answer my own post, but I learned how to do it and in the case where someone else is just starting up, it could be useful:

import 60 p in the first image, right-click on it in your list of sequences and need to change > film. Here you can enter your desired (in my case, 25 fps) framerate and click on 'ok '. then right click again on the sequence and choose 'new sequence of the clip' and you now have a sequence of 25 frames per second with true slow motion images.

  • Effect of smoke steam - how to make realistic water vapour and wipe

    Hello

looking for a tip or tutorial how to make a realistic smoke effect as with steam on glas. I want to use for the production of steam video in Adobe Premiere.

    I want 2 stage:

    (1) video coverage with increase in smoke steam (not more than 2-3 sec).

I try with the laboratory of particles but the effect was so childish video and smoke covers not more than video. The effect was like ghost as to the title of the video and no coverage on video.

How to make smoke to cover more video and how to make this realistic effect?

    (2) I saw glass and the glass is taken up with steam and grave. Behind glass, I see video blurines with people.

Glass wipe invisible hand and I see hollow wiping shape this people. How to do this? I I think that just take a few PNG with steam n the water down and cover the videofilm and animate the wipe.

But how? How to animate the wipe on glass and wipe the steam and drops? With what effect? How to animate it?

His chaotic, I know, but give me nail, tip, hint or tutorial for this problem of resources.

    Sorry for my FR.

I have Adobe CC last package.

I would use the Fractal noise to create steam. Put on a mask to feathers on the layer to make the shape you want. Tweak the parameters, you should get a few nice smoky eyes.

Then I would use an adjustment layer to change the levels of shooting (to decrease the contrast and add some blur to make it look like the steam on the glass.) Then, I would use another layer as a track matte to he will wipe away.

  • Windows Live Movie Maker-how access slowed down effect

    movie maker slow?

Slow Motion is a tool of the mounting base video... I do not understand? Why include a video editing software that only the most basic functions?

    Hey tug luke,.

    1. use Windows movie maker or Windows live movie maker?

If you use Windows Live Movie Maker it has no available Slow Down effect.

Only Windows Movie Maker v2.6 has that effect. I recommend that you download Windows Movie Maker 2.6 If you want access to the effect of "slow down, half.

To make your video more slowly by using this version of Windows Movie Maker, you must use the effect "slow down, half. On the table of the storyboard / timeline, select the video clip, picture, or title to which you want to add the effect. Click on 'Tools' and then click 'effects '. In the "Contents" pane, click the effect you want to add (in this case, "slow down, half"). You can click on 'Play' under the preview monitor to see a preview of what looks like the effect, or simply click and drag the clip to the video or photo.

  • PE 4.0 - how to make PART of a slow-mo clip? is this possible?

I see many tutorials on how to do something to slow down the movement, I fully understand how to do this. I'm a skateshop owner and have been filming recently taught me how to use Adobe first Elements 4. I know how to do a full clip slowed down, but I need to know how to make the World JUST a part of a slow motion clip, or is it still possible in this program? I've been racking my brain for days now, and I can't understand it. Help?

All you need to do is use the scissors (Razor in PrPro) tool to "cut" your biggest Clip where you want to apply the Slo - Mo and then do the same thing, where you want to end. apply your effect, and you're done. Listen to the Audio at that time, to ensure that there is no problem with that.

    Good luck

Without knowing what is happening when you try, it is difficult to recommend troubleshooting. However, one of the first steps is to ensure that you don't have to reduce the Motion activated in accessibility.

The MPEG-4 movie that I imported into the timeline of video group Photoshop plays in slow motion. How to play at normal speed?

This must be a common problem. I would appreciate some words of wisdom.

    Thank you

    Victor

The only way to do it with Photoshop, is to right-click on the clip and change the speed.  So if the clip was recorded at 60 fps and you use it on a timeline of 30 fps, set the speed to 200%

Applications like Premiere Pro and After Effects (and possibly first Elements) allow you to change the frequency of images in sequence by sequence.   Photoshop is a tool very frustrating to use for video editing.  Premiere Elements existed comes with Photoshop Elements for a very reasonable price.  I have no experience with Premiere Elements, but I strongly suspect that this will be an order of magnitude better than Photoshop for video editing.
