  If you open this image in Fireworks and look in the layers panel, you should
  be able to see what I did.
  Basically 3 layers, a base coat, a gradient layer and a highlight. I added
  the shadow just for fun.

  First of all, you must make sure that the BES server to which your BB has been activated has more your BB configured... otherwise, even after erase you it from the BB, the BES could reach out and the turn it back on, and you'd be right where you started.

  Then take a full backup, but whenever you restore, DO NOT make a full restore... just restore these things, you need (for example, messages, contacts, calendar, etc.). Otherwise, restore you the COMPUTER policy and again be right back where you started.

  I recently got the BlackBerry Bold 9780 and I love it, the only issue that I have with it is that after I set up my personal e-mail account, that he did not have a new icon for it. My emails go directly to my original Messages icon. It's just a little annoying because my bbm go too and it makes it harder for me to find my new emails in the mess.   • Home screen > Messages > > Options > (main Message list settings) (settings of the Inbox) or > uncheck what you want to delete in your Messages

  If this option is available to you and you separate messages, the e-mail account, you should then have a new icon that is only for this email account.

  Sorry, but I don't think that applies quite as described. The icon has the OP mentions is the status bar icon and has nothing to do with an installed application, or no matter what icon homescreen hidable. On the contrary, this icon is indeed pushed by the carrier of voice for BB services. For a reason, even with no voice mail service, the carrier is pushing the State for BB... icon and the corrective action is to ring up the carrier of voice services to correct what is happening in the background with them. For example, it is perhaps true that the OP has no voice mail service, but the carrier could easily have badly configured it and actually enabled voicemail services...

  You are accidentally hidden the icon and you have "Show hidden icons" visible.

  For example, place the cursor on this icon > Menu key > display.

  To delete a contact, highlight the contact on your list, press the BlackBerry menu key and select Remove.  Alternatively, you can simply highlight the contact and press the BACKSPACE on your physical keyboard.

  I did it for myself once. It tuns out I somehow put in with another icon. Appearantly some icons can be added to others - as what makes a subgroup within it. Can't remember what it I put it in tho, sorry.

  It is a push browser message.  Go to the main Messages folder, and then press the BB menu key.  Select view folders and check in the folder browser Messages.  The message should be there.  You can see it, and then delete it.
