  I guess this has been explained repeatedly, but I'm totally lost in it. This issue is not necessary question on Dreamweaver, but I'd like to get a general idea, how it works.
  I need to have a thumbnail, or word as a button on my web page, which would (the click) download full size photographs. (located on the same server as my website). I wish that these photographs to be a kind of embedded on some experience nice and open independently as a floating panel. Is that context html than another, on which I just embed this picture? If so, how can I control the size of this Fund? I wish it were for example only 300 x 150.
  Or should I create in photoshop by putting this image on some experience, save it as a .jpg file and put this jpg on the server?
  But then, the viewer will be able to shut up?

  Select your text or the item that you want to attach the link and then in the links tool hyperlink on your toolbar simply type or paste the address you want to link to, if it's an external link. If it is a link on your page will appear in the drop-down menu.

  Suggestion: If it's an external link click on the orange word "links" and make sure that the option to open in a new window is checked.

  The page/site seems to load very well at the moment.

  However if want to inspect what could slow down the loading of your page I recommend using 'firebug' and select the 'network' tab to follow every chronology file loading.  Then you can see which file takes more time to load to help make adjustments accordingly.

  1.) get in Firefox.
  2.) open any page you want to view the source code.
  3.) after full opening of the page "right-click" then you can see the source view of the page, click on it to see the Source of the page.
