How to make malicious Web sites that freeze Firefox?

I have di/scovered sites accepting some capture the tab in which they are open, freezing access to menu options (display, tools, etc.) and do not allow any Firefox close. Computer shutdown and re-opening is not free the captured page. The following sites are all suspects.

http://www.health11online.org /.
http://www.daily10reports.com /.
http://www.daily10reports.org /.
http://www.daily5reports.org /.
http://www.daily12reports.com /.
http://www.theweightlossspecialist.com /.
http://www.daily8online.org

Personally, I have confirmed that the last http://www.daily8online.org, is malicious. Others I have not confirmed, but they all came from the same source, the comments posted on a blog at KittyKroger. com

I was able to clear the browser only by going to the discount to zero that puts Firefox to its default settings.
