How to make more space in my iCloud storage?
I'm no longer backup of photos and videos to iCloud; I need not more than 5 GB of storage. But I need to free up space in my storage by deleting older backups and all these photos. How can I do this? Remove photos from my phone did not at all affect the backup. I don't see a way of controlling how backups are configured. My iPhone is the only device that is stored in iCloud. But all Apple applications are updated by iCloud.
System Preferences > iCloud > Manage > photo library > disable and remove.

To study disk space, use download and install Treesize (freeware).
https://www.Jam-software.de/customers/downloadTrial.php?ARTICLE_NO=80&language=en&PHPSESSID=6odgempt76un9q9nkj7luf5be0Information about Treesize
http://www.Jam-software.com/treesize_free/When you open Treesize scan select in the Menu and you will see a list of drives. Click on C and it will generate a list of files. Display names and 6 larger files sizes and the total at the top of the list.
A better program of disk cleanup is cCleaner. cCleaner comes with a registry tool. Do not use this tool as any registry cleaner could lead to the creation of very difficult to resolve system errors.
http://www.CCleaner.com/download1.9. When you open cCleaner you will see four large icons to the left of the window. Here's cleaner them, registry, tools, and Options. For routine maintenance, you normally acceding Cleaner (this is not the mentioned registry cleaner later). When using for the first time only, you can accept the default settings.
1.10. some observations on the parameters. On my computer, I do not have the boxes before the passwords saved selected. In a less secure environment, you could check this option and set cCleaner to run automatically when the computer starts. You also cannot check the boxes in front of shortcuts from the Start Menu, desktop shortcuts and historical form. You must check the boxes according to your needs. Bad first time options causes irritating no disasters.
1.11. the second icon that you see when you open cCleaner's registry. A reserve many experienced users have about cCleaner, it's that it comes with a registry cleaner. This tool should not be used. By using a registry cleaner, but it is the case, provides significant benefits and there is always the risk of creating insoluble system errors, which cannot be resolved by reinstalling the operating system and all that that implies. You will avoid any possible problem of not not by clicking on the Save icon.
1.12 the third icon that you see when you open cCleaner is tools. If you click this icon, it gives you access a routine plus service options. The first two tools are uninstalled and commissioning. I do not use these tools, preferring to use other software options. The third tool is the restoration of the system, which is covered in the next paragraph. The fourth tool is Wiper Drive and you will find reviews about this tool later
1.13 removing the system restore points can be important if you have little free disk space. The ability to delete them is one of the tools options. You can selectively remove those created in less important moments. This makes it easier to hold the restore points for long periods without keeping large unwanted files, whose inflexible approach to disk cleanup fails to offer.
1.14. you can't remove the last restore point using the cleaning disc or cCleaner. If the last restore point contains malicious software, you can turn off and then turn on system restore. This has the disadvantage that restore all points are removed when you want to keep more restore points that are not infected. How to get round this problem is to create a new restore point when you are satisfied with your computer is free of malware and then remove the infected restore point.
1.15. in normal circumstances, you probably rarely need to use Driver wiper. However, there are situations like if you gave the computer to someone else, then the tool may be useful. Please note that the wiper Drive, opening, generates a warning message, which should not be dismissed lightly. Using wiper Drive for the wrong reason could have serious consequences.
1.16 the fourth icon is labeled Options. Many configuration options are available here. You can configure cCleaner to run when start you but remember that this will slow down the boot. Another setting allows you to include or exclude cookies. Yet another allows files named to exclude

How to make more room on my iPhone by deleting photos, but keep on my mac
Using iCloud photo library? On the iPhone and the Mac? Then you must not remove photos on any device you do not want to delete everywhere.
If you want less photos on your Mac on your iPhone to disable iCloud photo library on the iPhone, and transfer the photos to your Mac by connecting the iPhone to a USB port.

I need to find a way to compress my files to make more space on my c drive
I have cleaned and removed as much as I can and am scared to delete some files on h don't know not which ones I can safely remove, I have an external hard drive that I use, and I was also wondering if I can not transfer my drive c on the files to this one, or is there a way that I can compress all the files from c drive to acquire more space... Please help me to make more room.
Don't you cannot transfer (unless theyre documents) files on the external hard drive. For information on the programs must be in the registry to work. And copy it to the external hard drive used to do. Only thing to do is to reformat the external and use instead (put it in the case)

I have Windows Vista and back up regularly on E:drive. How do backups more space?
I have Windows Vista. I've been using the backup of the standard sytem on my E: drive for several months. Now it is almost full, and it seems impossible to remove previous copies. I tried the suggested disk cleanup and it shows 0 bytes available to remove! I also tried to delete "system restore and shadow copies in 'Disk cleanup'." It seems to be a lot of disk activity, but no more space on drive E:! I also tried to manually remove some files, but they disappear from the index of free space on the disk does not increase. Can you help me, please?
Is there anything else stored on drive E, other than backups? Otherwise, you might save a few headaches and just format your partition to backup.
WarningFormatting a volume will destroy all data on the partition. Be sure to make backups of all the data to save before you begin.
You cannot format a disk or partition that is currently in use, including the partition that contains Windows.
Quick format is a formatting option that creates a new file table, but do not completely overwrite or erase the volume. A quick format is much faster than a normal format, which fully erases the existing data on the volume.
Open Computer Management by clicking on the button start , clicking Control Panel, clicking system and Maintenance, click Administrative Tools and then double-click computer management. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
In the Navigation pane, under storage, click Disk Management.
Right-click the volume you want to format and then click on format.
To format the volume with the default settings in the dialog box format, click OK, and then click OK again.
For more information about the formatting of a partition, see create and format a hard disk partition.

Deleted iPhotos to make more space but still have the same amount of storage
Hey guys, I deleted my app iPhotos and folder to free up space on my computer, but it still shows the same storage space. Are these photos still stored on my computer somewhere and why storage is not to show more space? Thank you
When you have migrated your images in iPhoto for pictures, the images were not duplicated in the photo library. Both made apps point (link) to the same original on your drive. That's why you see no significant gain in storage.
