    Hi Line,

Password protect a PDF file, you must use Acrobat. If you do not have Acrobat, you can try it free for 30 days. See www.adobe.com/products/acrobat.html for more information.

In Acrobat, choose file > properties when the document is open, and then click the Security tab allows you to set up a password.

Please let us know how it goes.

  • How to open the labview with function of Labview program to stop smoking inside?

Hi any idea how to open the labview with the Labview function program to stop smoking inside?

I forgot to add and define the condition of the type for this program.

If the program is an application, she closed immediately.

If it is still the work of labview, it will go directly to editing without closing the program.

I so need to retrieve, open it and make some changes.

Place the VI in a project and open it from there, then it should not autorun. App.kind application property allows you to decide whether to close or not.

  • I can't open the PDF with Adobe Reader XI... get an error that "Adobe has stopped working" then it closes.  Any suggestions?

I can't open the PDF with Adobe Reader XI... get an error that "Adobe has stopped working" then it closes.  Is it a question of Adobe, Microsoft problem or security issue?

Since you talk about Microsoft, I guess you're on Windows.

Can you open Reader by itself?  If so, try to disable the Protected Mode [Edit |] Preferences | (Improved) security].

Impossible. There are only very limited for the Acrobat family command line options and you cannot change the.

  • Windows 8 - How to open the PDF documents and start application Menu choices in the Office of current work?

I have recently upgraded to Windows 8 Professional.

A question that I have, is that whenever I try to open a PDF document, it always opens in a new window dedicated, with a totally black background.

Is it possible to open PDF documents on the desktop, so I can see the content PDF, on the same page as all my other apps open?

Under earlier versions of Windows, can I go to the start menu, then select all applications, and they are listed in the form of office, as all my other applications already open.

In Windows 8 Professional, I have not found a way to reproduce this behavior again!

It keeps taking me to a completely different screen.  The one who looks like he could have been created for use with tablets.

I hate this behavior on my regular PC and want to know if there is a way to use the old and classic views.

I don't want to open the application menu in a separate window.

So, two questions: 1) is there a way to open the PDF documents in the current working window?   (2) is there a way to disable the display of screen separate application and return to the old start menu request window, in the current working window?

  • How to open the pdf file residing on the server to the client computer applications?

    Hi all
The scenario is that I've developed a form using forms10g (9.0.4). I wrote the following lines in the module of the form, there is a button.in the code for this button.
    AppID: = DDE. App_Begin ("C:\Program Files\Adobe\Acrobat 5.0\Acrobat\Acrobat.exe C:\2dayDBA.pdf', DDE.") App_Mode_Maximized);
    ConvID: = DDE. Insider ("Acrobat", '2dayDBA.pdf');
Now when I run the form and click the button, it opens the pdf "2dayDBA.pdf" file and it works fine.
My problem is that when I deploy the same form on Oracle application server and copy the pdf files in the same location with acrobat reader installed at the same place and run the formula browser client and press
the button, it does not open the pdf file and gives me the error "Exception no Oracle".

someone has the solution for this. (don't forget I want to just open the pdf file of the client)
    its really urgent

Stop and then restart the OC4J container, and then try again.

  • Problems to open the PDF with Adobe XI using Windows 8.1.

Everything seems to be updated, but when I click to open the PDF file, it gives the error that I need to install 'Flash Player who takes responsibility for Adobe Reader'.  He asked then go to download page to install, but it does not 8.1 installation as it is said that it is a party, the updates.  What am I mising?  I went through all the adobe programs and all indicate that the programs have already been installed and are up to date.

    Try http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/otherversions/

Choose Windows 8, FP 15 for FireFox - NPAPI.

    DISABLE USELESS FREE OFFER

I think that will do. Ability to Adobe to spoil their own web site never ceases to amaze me.

  • Why Firefox tries to open the PDF with Acrobat 8 when I set properties using Reader 9.1?

If I click on a link in a PDF file from Firefox 3.6.10 he's trying to open it with Acrobat 8 and breaks down, while if I double-click on a folder it opens properly with Reader 9.1

If I try to open with Acrobat 8 for the record, he does not either, but why Firefox does not use the default program?

Go to tools | Options | Applications. The first 4 entries focus on Adobe. Make sure that the association is your version 9.1. If this is not the case, click on the association that shows. You will get a triangle pointing downwards to the right. Click it, and then check if 9.1 is displayed. If so, select it. Do the same for the other elements of Adobe.

You can also check the "Folder Options" in the control panel. In the tab "File Types", you will find all file extensions and the programs with which they are associated. Scroll to the PDF extension and make sure that it is associated with a "Document of Adobe Acrobat. If this is not the case, click the < button > and find adobe in the programs list.

Just to let you know, Adobe Reader is now up to version 9.4. You can go to the Adobe website to download the latest version.

  • Search function does not work correctly (it does not mark the words found, instead, he built a light blue frame); When you open the PDF with Foxit, the search function works.

    Hello

I use a PC (not a MAC). The document that I have a problem with emerged on a Word Document. I opened it using Adobe Acrobat Reader DC.

When I tried to search for a Word, it worked. He scored the first word matching my search. As I pressed Enter to get results, he built a clear blue frame around large parts of the text presenting the result somewhere in the framework:

    Suchfunktion_Adobe.png

When more pressing enter, the frame moves to the right or expands, but no other match is found. I tried to open the same file with Foxit pdf and here the function works correctly (marking all the matches one by one).

Unfortunately, I can't tell all my customers to use Foxit. They all use Adobe and are complained about the search function.

The size of the document is 9,32 MB and contains 324 pages.

Thanks in advance for your help.

    Ula

    Hi Sarah,.

We've fixed the problem. Where a person has the same question:

When you create a pdf file in Word (by "save under" and select 'PDF (*.pdf)' as the type of document)), you can click on the 'Options' button... "When you want to have a tree structure of your pdf file.

In the 'Options' dialog box, select "Create bookmarks to help: ' (I so always use 'Headings') and UNCHECK"Document structure for accessibility tags '.

Then you will have problems with the whitin your structured pdf search function.

    It's a problem with Word.

    Thanks for your time!

    Kind regards

  • Open the PDF with Adobe Reader - wonder what must do Firefox - every time

    Hello

Whenever I want to open a PDF file, Firefox asks me "that should Firefox do with this file.
I opened with Adobe Reader (default) selected and I have the box 'do this automatically... ". "checked.

So, it seems to me that Firefox should not ask me every time.

Hi - I do not always want to ask; I want that he will never ask.

That said, I changed my setting of the option "always ask" and the next time I tried to open a PDF document, the open dialog box to ask me what to do. The box 'do this automatically... ". ' has been disabled, as expected.

I checked the box 'do this automatically... ". "and now Firefox is most requested.

Weird way to solve the problem, but it seems to work fine now.
    Thank you

  • Cannot open the PDF with Firefox 11.0

Firefox automatically upgrades the version I use. Since he has recently been updated I can't open pdf files. Am facing a blank page. I went through some of the suggestions on these pages, and when I opened the tool window, there is a caveat:

Firefox PDF Plugin for Mac OS X is not compatible with Firefox 11!

Is there a way around it? Or it's time to say goodbye to Firefox and go on Safari?

I had the same problem. Go in Tools > Modules > Plug-Insand disable the plugin Adobe Acrobat. Once I did, my PDFs opened in preview.

  • dc Acrobat subscription - android app opens the pdf with external application?

    Hello

The adobe app for android (Lenovo ideapad10) dc opens pdf documents with an external application since a few days - why is this? Why adobe would need an external application for that?

What happened to the pro-fonctions? I can't edit the pdf documents more. But I need it for the University.

What can I do? Help, please!

    Thank you

    Falk

I have a theory based on the screenshots:

    1. The files do not have the .pdf extensions on their behalf. Can you try renaming one of them to ensure that they end in .pdf?
    2. Some file names have a '. ' in them. If the addition of a .pdf extension does not work, can you please try to remove the '. '?

I don't have my camera android with me today so I can not test this theory. Thank you for your answer!
